I'm crying as I'm watching this, I recently lost one of my ferrets too and this hit me so hard. So sad today, i am just sort of re-joining my life and going through these videos slowly. I was unprepared for this one as we very suddenly lost our little (big) guy Loki Bear... (Loki Berra, Prince Loki) recently and suddenly, just after his first birthday. I sometimes forget that when you have pets you have to understand they are just never going to live long enough. It's so easy to forget that in all the joy and love and little fert kisses. I miss Loki like a smol death so often... and I will miss seeing Luna's sweet little face in your videos. DIP

Losing a loved pet sucks, because it just sucks. There isn’t a brightside to it, unless it’s that your pet was in a ton of pain, then it’s a good thing they are now in a better place. Saying goodbye is never easy, but in the end, is it really goodbye? She’ll forever be with you, whether it be in your memories or your heart, even in the videos you have of her forever, it’ll never be goodbye. I'm so sorry for your loss... My ferret pased this wintter he was only two... We didn't even know it was his last day. He got out and we put up a page for someone to find him. Someone found him and brought him home. Soon as we re united him with his seven yeaar old sister we knew something was wrong... He did little to move so the next day we called the vet. I didn't know that the day before was the last day I would have before he passed. 3 hours before his appoinment he stoped breaving... We couldnt do anything and I wasent even there when he passed. I wis cleaning the kittchen when my siblings ran to me crying saying he passed. I felt like it all was in slow moshin as I ran up the stairs. I didn't even know what to think... So I know how hard it is to let them go. I didn't even get a chance to say goodbey...
I just have to tell you i love the voice overs you use for the babies and I can 100% can see them saying all the stuff you have them say between your hilarious personality and of course all of your cute little fur babies and the things that you have them sayings and by far my favorite parts of the videos you can make a video of nothing but you being you and the voice overs and I'd be okay with that I do appreciate the education that you give but I literally hysterically laugh entire video I don't care what it's about and your personality reminds me exactly of my daughter Angie I think that's another reason why I like your videos so much ok now that I babbled for 10 minutes thanks for the hilarious videos
Hello I'm a new subscriber.. an seeing this really hits home for me especially in the beginning of the video just recently I lost 3 of my babies all within 2 weeks apart all were older an had insuolimoa it was so hard for me.. it's still hard seeing this really is helping me get through this time I'm dealing with. The reason I'm not a fan of coco fibre is you have to re-moisten it otherwise it gets dry and dusty. I use it in my reptile enclosure and I know when it needs a spray when I hear my fire skinks sneeze. Things I personally use; rice, shredded paper, snow when we get it, and the dirt outside when they go on walks so I don't need to keep any in the house

Loss of a pet is so hard sometimes. My cat of 15 years had been slowly showing that she didn’t have much time left and had an episode and passed away at home.. She was the last of many of our first furries and that hit after she finally just let go . I’m sorry she had to cross ..

Actually I heard that the regular bags of sand in the hardware stores will contain fiberglass, etc while play sand has been cleaned. So, after watching this video, I'm confused what you mean don't use playsand.
I don't think it's safe because it's normally made of silica/quartz, which is really bad for the respiratory system. It's safe for human children because it's normally dampened before kids play with it, which stops silica particles from floating in the air and being inhaled. Ferrets have extremely sensitive respiratory systems, so I don't really think it's worth the risk given the warnings I see on the bags that are available to me. I even called a company that makes play sand and they told me they wouldn't recommend it for pets. This might be different depending on where you live and what's available to you, but the way I see it there are lots of other options for dig boxes that ARE safe and don't have the same risks, so it's better to use one of those.
I've decided to ditch the eco dirt coz the last time it was all wasted coz you have to add water to make it. And I have cats who want to use it as potty so I had to have lid on it and it molded. Just getting organic dirt Will be easier setup as I don't have to wait for it to dry
The many cuts in the initial part only help us guessing your pain. I'm very sorry about Luna. Indeed, this is one of the aspects that is actually making me rethink about the possibility of owning ferrets... :(
Please don’t use rice, years ago when I didn’t knew any better I used rice because I saw people doing it. One morning I had to run to the ER with one of my ferrets cuz she ingested the rice, she almost died.

Actually I heard that the regular bags of sand in the hardware stores will contain fiberglass, etc while play sand has been cleaned. So, after watching this video, I'm confused what you mean don't use playsand.
I don't think it's safe because it's normally made of silica/quartz, which is really bad for the respiratory system. It's safe for human children because it's normally dampened before kids play with it, which stops silica particles from floating in the air and being inhaled. Ferrets have extremely sensitive respiratory systems, so I don't really think it's worth the risk given the warnings I see on the bags that are available to me. I even called a company that makes play sand and they told me they wouldn't recommend it for pets. This might be different depending on where you live and what's available to you, but the way I see it there are lots of other options for dig boxes that ARE safe and don't have the same risks, so it's better to use one of those.

I've decided to ditch the eco dirt coz the last time it was all wasted coz you have to add water to make it. And I have cats who want to use it as potty so I had to have lid on it and it molded. Just getting organic dirt Will be easier setup as I don't have to wait for it to dry

Please don’t use rice, years ago when I didn’t knew any better I used rice because I saw people doing it. One morning I had to run to the ER with one of my ferrets cuz she ingested the rice, she almost died.

In all seriousness, I'm very sorry for your loss Kenya. I found your channel a few months back (before the break up) and have become so enamored by your fur babies and your love for them. I cried during Modern Ferret's video about their recent loss but honestly, I think this one hit harder. I've never been a fan of voiceovers for animals but I love Luna's little monologs and how each time they happen, she's always in this pose that makes it believable. I've never experienced the loss of a ferret so I can only imagine how hard this has been for you. I just want you to know that my daughter and I will miss seeing her in your videos and that we're sending you good vibes from Missouri.
