Dear Lady of all Lady's, I so wish I lived closer to you to make you my shopping friend! I simply adore you, your vlog and your impeccable endless style. I think we were separated at both except I have just a few years on you. You are just so entertaining and a true delight to watch, learn from and your voice is just so soothing. You are #1 in my book! God Bless!
You made my day. Thanks for your kind words. 😘
Expressed my feelings SUCCINCTLY! I LOVE following her more than I can express!
Thanks from Annie some lovely things there on sale and you look lovely too like that dress you have on there it is very feminine and nice your table displays asre very nicely matched.
I assume Lady Mary Beth has some money because she has a second home in Germany, which most of us cannot even dream of, however, I like her message of “elevate your every day”. We can all elevate in big or small ways that will make the world better for everyone. Regardless of net worth, all of us can make our home classy and comfortable on a small budget. We can all keep our homes clean and neat. We can keep our yards (if we have one) clean and neat. We can keep our social and family lives clean and neat. WE CAN ELEVATE OUR EVERY DAY. Many people don’t even do these basic things.
I missed seeing your tablescapes! Thanks for bringing them back!
I missed sharing with you. 🍽️
I love when she does table-scapes!! ❤❤
4th comment! Love her expertise and taste.
I appreciate you! 😘 Glass Show coming next week. Lots of good information coming. Always learning and sharing.
I think my tea pot is the “ Old Rose” design.
I’ve been watching you for a couple of weeks now and have been wondering who you remind me of and it finally hit me. Martha Stewart! You sound just like her and just as lovely. So informative and love your German connection. I lived in Germany for many years so that’s always fun. Dankeschön!
Thanks for your kind and generous comment. Glad to know that you lived in Germany. Hope you get back to visit. Lots of great flea markets and thrift stores.
I love all your ideas and suggestions for repurposing pieces!
Love when you talk about lamps Christel or any kind and displayed
I especially look for Waterford lamps while thrifting. They don’t make anymore since lightingware division closed.
Love your table scapes 😊❤ Thanks for sharing 😊❤
Thank you for another very interesting video. It was such a joy to meet you in person a few weeks ago. Thank you so much for putting up with me - I was just so excited to meet you. Your videos are always very fun and informative. ☮️ ♥️
A pleasure meeting you! Enjoy your beautiful Waterford clock. 💚
you have such an elegant style. everything always looks so pretty.
Thank you so much! 😘
Your advice to shop charity, and other consignment shops is very good. Your search for white and cream wear dishes (loved, loved, loved the Queens wear) has encouraged me to bring out my Wedgwood, Strawberry and Vine. Heres to tea in a cup and saucer.
Tea time tastes best in a Wedgwood cup. Enjoy! 🫖 ☕️
❤ The China Wall❤
So many patterns spanning different eras. Worth a visit!
Thanks for the surprise
My wedding china in 1993 was Wedgewood Strawberry & Vine - classic and elegant white look!
Wonderful that you have this classic pattern. Excellent choice for everyday and entertaining. Love it!
Thank you Lady Mary Beth, as usual joining you is interestingly educational. Blessings
I love that Mikasa French Countryside!
Hello, Lady Mary Beth, wish I was there to snatch that serving dish by Ralph Lauren for Wedgwood. I recently purchased service for 4 at a favorite thrift store for $25.00 of that very pattern! I enjoyed your table settings so much. Please do more of these. Thank you for all the inspiration you give to us!
I love the way you incorporated the Milk Glass with your dinnerware 💜💜
I love love love go shopping with you !!!! you are amazing
Thanks so much! 😘
Beautiful Dish’s
Thanks for watching! 😘
Wedgwood Creamware is dreamy! 😊
A complete collection is rare. 🍽️
I have a friend that uses beautiful ashtrays as spoon rests in the kitchen.
That's a great idea!
Love your channel!! I have been a follower since the early days!! Keep being awesome!!
Thanks so much! This means a lot that you have followed me since the beginning. I appreciate you!
Wonderful video.! Thank you!
This is , by far, my favorite video. Thank you for taking us on this special journey.
I would build another room simply to house the FABULOUS furniture piece you are standing in front of in the video’s intro. It is perfection.
I also would have snatched up the Homer Laughlin “Magnolia” china. It is truly a wonderful pattern- I just love it.
Congratulations on the two Waterford buffet lamps - they are beautiful and are perfect in your dining room.
This has been such an enjoyable video. Thank you and I’ve missed your dressed tables so much -I hope we see more !! 💖💚
I appreciate your kind words. Planning to add in some table settings and collections with thrift outings. Would be fun!
Hi Mary Beth, Johnson & bro is also popular in New York
Hello Lady Mary Beth, I'm a new subscriber from Portugal, I'm in love with your channel, love your elegance and knowledge on the antiques....my favorite things are dishes and table setting but I'm really starting looking for crystals.
I'm always looking for Bordalo Pinheiro, Vista Alegre and Spal, they are very expensive dishes brands, this month I bought a vintage spal service 30 pieces for 40€, usually this kind of service start at 250€...what a steal..
Welcome! You got a deal on the dishes. Have featured Bordalo Pinheiro on a visit to Resale with a Purpose. The shamrock pattern was later marked down to a ridiculous price of $30 or so. Got it and can't wait to entertain with it.
I love the buffet lamps I would love to have. I would like to get the buffet lamps to put on my buffet. Nice Mary Beth.q
Great ideas!
Yes, the moment I saw the triple dish I knew it was from Portugal, I have a couple of pieces like this, they're very functional and look beautiful on the table. They're very popular here in Portugal.
You have a good eye! Wish I had bought this piece.
looks like you got the waterford lamps as well. Nice finds.
I learn so much from you! Fun to learn about the Wedgwood Queen's Ware. I just started collecting Wedgwood Romantic England in red, and now I know why it's called "Queen's Ware." Thank you!
I collect a lot of beautiful pieces but I really don't have opportunities to use them like I wish. Love your videos!!
Rotate your collections for maximum enjoyment.
I was in Stillgoode very briefly the other day and I can’t wait to go back and explore it! And always love TEAM! Great video!! Gorgeous white dishes you showcased!!💗💗💗💗
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
I love your channel, I learn so much. Thank you!
I appreciate you! 😘
“The Great Wall of China awaits”. 😄 I’m always glad when a Lady Mary Beth video drops. It’s fun to browse and shop with you. ❤️
I too love classic white or cream white dinnerware - so versatile. Appreciate the advice you give re certain products or conditions you would stay away from. Better to buy second hand and be able to afford a higher quality. Had to laugh when you mentioned it's sometimes hard not to turn over a piece when you are out in a tea room, etc. Great video.
Hi lady Mary Beth,I love your home it’s so beautiful,I love whites an creams they go with anything, sending much love Ann uk ❤️❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Bet you have lots of Wedgwood dishes at local thrift stores. Do you shop local flea markets?
I am just rewatching this episode, you mentioned that you wished you had more space for a couple of patterns; I live in a tiny cabin in the woods of Tasmania, but we have a large sealed shed and my husband has set up shelving and has organised my china sets into easy to pull out tubs, so when I want to use a different pattern he brings in tubs with those pieces. I found it easier than digging into the back of a cupboard trying to get pieces. So I don't know if you have a large sealed shed or garage that you can set up shelving in an alphabetise it for easy access.
So happy you recused the milk glass pitcher. It will grace your table for many years. Thank you for the tour. You are so lucky to have such great places to go thrift store shopping. Take Care
White dinnerware is classic and the perfect choice when setting up home. Important to consider dishwasher and microwave users if buying dishes/plates with metal coloured rims. What amazing prices across all those shops. I spotted some beautiful glasses too! X
Great tip on metallic rimmed china that will melt away in the microwave. Learned this as a young bride with a Wedgwood Wild Strawberry plate. Warmed up bread pudding for a guest and ruined the plate. 😔
I have a Wedgwood Queen's ware platter with the blue displayed on a lowboy in the dining room. It was purchased at an estate sale in the eighties, along with some Wedgwood creamware teacups and saucers in a Sheraton style urn trim, the lady mixed them with Pope Gosser Rosepoint teacups and saucers. My china is Petra by Hutchenreuther Arzberg, white with modern art looking trim with a gray ring. It mixes well with Noritake Tulane pattern, mixing gray ring with gold ring trim. The sterling compote, wow Lady Mary Beth, the good shopping award goes to you.
I really enjoy your videos! I grabbed the set of Wedgewood queen’s ware from Stillgoode and am thrilled with it! I’ve admired that pattern for decades!
Thrilled to know that you purchased the Queensware. Enjoy this lovely pattern with a rich history. 👑
Oh my. It was amazing -it was more how we live the things you do! Got ideas and got me things of my table sets. Happy day for me!
Love watching you and Zoe home inspired living❤❤
I do a lot of mixing and matching of my creamware Wedgewood. I find mine at Good Will mostly. It's fun to set a table that cost less than $25 but looks amazing! My newest find of Orrefors Intermezzo wine glasses adds just the perfect cobalt pop of color!
New subscriber - enjoying your videos!
Thanks for subscribing! The Orrefors Intermezzo wines are a delightful addition to creamware. Mixing classic and contemporary adds interest. 🤍💙
Your white and cream table scape is wonderfully fresh and classic! So glad you featured milkglass in this episode as well!!!
🌿 ~A relaxing leisurely look at beautiful things; just what I needed! ~TY MB! ☕🍰
I loved this video. I always enjoy "shopping" with you! And I love milk glass, so thank you for featuring it today. There really are some wonderful shops in your area. Nothing like that where I live.
oooooh...you bought the beautiful Wedgwood lamps! They look so pretty in your dining room. I would have bought them , too. Thanks for another fun shopping tour!
I just love creamy white dinnerware and this was just fabulous! I've watched it twice, back to back!
That Wedgwood Queensware set was breathtaking! I'd give my eye teeth for that set! I am also coveting the gorgeous Bavarian set with the gold rim at 9:15. That is such a bargain!
I enjoyed the segment with your tablescapes. I particularly liked the first table with the natural and white color combination. Your Strawberry and Vine pitcher was an incredible buy - such a beautiful shape! That was an amazing runner on your blue table - it's just perfect for you! And the napkin in the centerpiece with the flowers is something I've never seen before, but is lovely and unforgettable.
I was so pleased to see that you did snag the buffet lamps! And some other of the beauties you showed us. I always enjoy seeing what you decided to add to your collections! ❤
Hi Mary Beth. The March/April issue of Victoria magazine has a couple of lovely articles of Waterford you might enjoy. As well as the rest of the issue. Really puts one in an elevated mood.🌸🌸🌸
Enjoyed! I like it when you do table scapes or other things at your home.
Thank you for taking us shopping! Wonderful content!
Oh yes I have watched 3x’s. I love milk glass. I also love the lamps!!
Loved the show. .can't thank you enough for taking us along ..you always look so glamorous...that blue changed the table setting so beautiful . Loved your lamps and that huge crystal dish ..
So many beautiful things to admire! Your tablescapes are always beautiful - thank you for sharing. You have so many wonderful ideas!
@27:35 I do so appreciate when you show us the many uses for items. I would love to see a segment on divided dishes and how YOU use them. I have a couple I've inherited from my Mother (wedding gifts from my parents' 1960 wedding ❤). I find, however, I don't reach for them very often (if ever). They're very dear to me and I would love to use them, but tbh, I entertain rather infrequently and don't use 'serving dishes' on a daily basis. I would love to use them more often as each dish reminds me of my 1960s childhood (when my parents entertained) and my parents and who are no longer with me. 💔
Enjoyed this dish vlog.I love seeing all the
Patterns.Thank you
Love seeing your different tablescape ideas, i found this to be super helpful. I really miss seeing the tablescape videos!
Beautiful finds! I can’t wait to see how you style everything.
I absolutely love the silver spoons ❤
Loved the front and back design on the set of spoons...and I put ribbons on pitchers too! (although usually for holiday decor)
I really enjoyed this video. I appreciated your knowledge of different dish ware and that you honestly express which plates to avoid. My favorite segment was the tablescapes in your dining room! I admired the candlesticks on the table yesterday, and now that I see they are also vases makes me love them more! 😊
I was hoping you would buy the Waterford buffet lamps, and I am glad you did. I would have bought them too. Can you do a video about how you store your finds. I have a formal, a semi formal and non formal dining room and because we hardly ever use our formal dining room, I store my finds under my formal dining table with a beautiful tablecloth to the floor. I need your advise.
Wow! What a beautiful tea pot.
Another great shopping day! You gave me such great ideas for my table top! I’m not a blue person but your blue and white table top was stunning!!!
Blue and white can also be a “neutral” backdrop for bold color. Works well with the addition of Easter and Spring. 🐰💙💗💚
1st Hello Mary Beth
Thank you for sharing the tablescape and how it can be completed on a budget, I'm going to try this !!
Awesome that you were on first. I enjoy your thrift and flip videos. Dabbling in this while out finding deals. 🛍️💲
So many special finds in thrift and consignment stores! I think sometimes the must smell puts people off?
What a lovely tour! I just love the cream ware set! My favorite choices were those beautiful silver spoons and the Waterford lamps! Just fabulous! Your table settings were adorable! My everyday dishes are the potpourri pattern by wedgewood…I just love them…and yes I found them, a complete place setting for 10 for $200! Your table runner I may have to check out for my buffet, it’s lovely! Thank you ❤❤❤
Thanks so much! 😊
Interesting and educational as always. I appreciated the comments on dishes you would not purchase snd the reasons.
Also had a big smile when you mentioned about being in a restaurant and wanting to turn items over to check out the back stamp. It’s such a temptation to me and I have given in at times. My fear is that I will someday turn an item over to satisfy my curiosity but will forget that there is food or drink still on/in the item. 😳
You did save me a trip to Houston as I see you bought those beautiful Waterford lamps. I have two lamps from the 70s and would have loved to have added those.
Those Waterford lamps look great on your buffet. That is the exact same lamp I found curbside in the free to a good home pile after someone's garage sale 2 years ago.
What a great curbside find!
I thoroughly enjoyed this video as I am a china collector also! 💐👏🏻👏🏻
I have a set of Lenox Rhodora dinnerware and cups and saucers, I also have a very rare coffee pot and teapot!
Hi Lady Mary Beth. I enjoy watching your videos. I too collect blue and white chinoiserie. My home has a lot of it . I must correct you though…. If a pot has a flat lid, sometimes with a knob on top, it is called a ginger jar. If the lid is curved / domed with a lip and a finial, it is a temple jar and is used for funerary ashes. Best wishes from 🇨🇦
If I had to pick just one white dinnerware I would pick Romantica by Kaiser. So elegant white bone china with scalloped edges. Classic, timless and elegant.
You have me researching this pattern now. The scalloped edge is superb. Love! 🍽️
Hi, Lady Maty Beth, I too love dishes. We just moved to Magnolia Tx 1 yr ago and love going to Team Resale. I purchased not long ago a 83 piece set of Gobel "Wallis" dinnerware set and just love it. I had 15 pcs before and it was so nice to add a larger collection to mine. I have also been to Germany a couple of times and really enjoyed the country and the people. So much to see! Hope to see you while out thrifting one day. Happy hunting, Sandie.
Great to hear from you. Good find at TEAM! 🍽️ Our paths will surely cross.
This was so enjoyable to watch. Thank you for posting the link for the tablecloth. I was going to be on the search for something like it. Missing my Century 21 Department Stores for items like this. Hopefully they comeback soon to NYC.
Yes, to “ elevate your every day!” New Subscriber.🌷
Welcome and thanks for subscribing! 🥰
Thank you Mary Beth for your videos and your beautiful tablescapes.
Can you include some information about how you serve food once guests are seated please? For example, do you remove some of the dishes and bring them back to the table with the food? Or do you serve all food at the table?
And do you ever heat plates in order to serve hot food?
Thank you so much:)
We’re those the Waterford lamps on your sideboard that were shown in the video? Beautiful!
Yes, got the lamps featured in the video, along with the silver spoons and Sterling compote.
❤❤❤❤❤❤🇨🇦👍🙋🏼♀️u are special pretty lady …love ur vlogs ……much love from Montreal
Mikasa is quality brand.
Thank you LMB for this video! I think you mentioned several videos ago you might show us how to use white and I am so glad you did - great ideas as always! My Mom handed me down her white Franciscan platinum rimmed set😊 and it has held up really well. Are your buffet lamps the WF lamps that you found thrifting? Gorgeous!
Yes, those are the lamps found at Stillgoode Consignment. Wonderful that you have the classic Franciscan platinum china. 🍽️🤍
I look under dishes at restaurants, too. 😂
You are in good company. 😉
Lol, the problem is doing it subtly and without attracting attention.
I posted half my China to downsize for $500. 40 people inquired when I brought the price to $75 a place setting. They thought I meant $75 for 42 pieces…. There are many people who do want to have china!!! I wish I lived near this thrift store. We have so little beauty compared to the places you show. I already have 5 sets of china. I am just wish I could add to my collection of the one or two missing pieces.
Good to hear that folks are still interested in china!
Dear Lady Mary Beth, I am absolutely losing my mind and see numerous items I like at the thrift shop in this vlog. How can I shop there if I am located in the Northeast area of the USA? Do they have a website I can browse and shop online? I live many states away...is it really pickup in store only? Respectfully, a very fond subscriber and addicted to your fabulous vlogs viewer. Thank you.
Stillgoode Consignments has worked with a local parcel shipping place in the past. Perhaps, you could contact them and inquire. Would most likely require you to call a local parcel store for them to pick-up, pack, and ship. They can most likely recommend a nearby service. Take a look at their website to check inventory. www.stillgoode.com/
@@LadyMaryBeth Thank you beautiful Lady Mary Beth!
It'd be nice if you tell us what state you're in and where the places are located
Location is always in the video description. Franklin, TN is uploading today.
Mary Beth, where do you store all your collections ?
Here, there, and everywhere. We have two homes and a small storage for the college kid years of in and out upsizing and downsizing.
I am so happy I found your channel. I have a lot of China, silver, and crystal that has been passed down to me for generations and that I have also acquired. I have a few questions and wonder if you would maybe do a video on these topics?
1. Can you show us how you store all of your items? You have a lot of bulky items like pictures and sandwich serving plates and you can’t stack those items.
2. How do you serve your food when you entertained? Your tables are so beautiful, but there’s really no room for the food and you usually have your Buffet full.
3. What are your tricks for preparing for a dinner party? The hour before your guests arrive? Do you put ice and water in the glasses on the table? Do you light all the candles just before… What is your scheduling? It seems like I’m always off somewhere and wonder how someone who entertains so much does it.
4. Is every single Waterford piece marked in the glass on the bottom?
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this comment. Hopefully I’ll see some of the information in your future videos.
Today i was browsing in a thrift store. Saw a Marquis by Waterford Arabesque 8"×10" with 4"×6" picture inset. Forgot to put in my basket. As I headed home realized that I did have it. Made a 360 turn flew back.and found it tucked away. Grabbed it for $4.32 with tax. Missing the felt backing. I will keep my eyes open.
Quick turnaround for a great find!
Did you buy the Waterford lamps at 6:50? They looked the same as on your buffet.
Yes, got the lamps. So happy and have always wanted Waterford buffet lamps. 💡
I have a question. When I click on your links above, I always get a message that ' the page is not available'. Why is that?
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🌷😍
Why would you not tell people what city. You are in????
you are
Location and store contact are always in the video description.
Her voice drives me up a wall, and the shouldn't be handling the chocolates she's presenting to her guests with her big hands
Don’t watch it then. So ridiculous.
