The story of the sheep falling over the precipe is a good illustration of reminding Christians that we follow Christ, the Good Shepherd. Whenever we follow other 'sheep ' we are apt to fall over the 'precipe'. Christians are followers of Christ, not followers of other Christians.

Sad the SDA keep pagan Christmas instead of obeying Yahweh and keep His holy days. You are simply following the Pope and the mother church. The great SDA theologan Samuele R. Bacchiocchi was opposed to this. This is one reason I could never join the SDA.
The SDA allows each person to act according to their own conscience... The Word says whatever you do, do ALL TO THE GLORY OF GOD, it is possible to celebrate Christmas to God's glory, although personally I do NOT celebrate it anymore and i dont think we should PERSONALLY... But we EACH answer for our own life!! ... And i BELIEVE the SDA church is the closest to God's Word ... So please, dont choose to be lost, assemble together with God's body as He commands on Sabbath... Jesus' church had Judas and a Peter who denied Him... It IS STILL God's church. Amen? 🙏

I want to encourage you to look towards the verse 2 Corinthians 6:14 says "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness and lawlessness?". This is a common verse and you may have heard it before because of the weight of it's meaning. To be yoked refers to two oxen that are joined by a wooden bar to plow fields or pull heavy weight. To accomplish their work, it is important that both oxen are equal in strength and skill. Without this unison, they can not complete their work together. Like these oxen, God desires for us to find a partners that can work with us side by side. To be unequally yoked means two people do not have aligning values and beliefs. One of the greatest intentions God had for marriage was for two people to come together so that they could enhance their God given gifts and skills to bring souls to Christ and do the good work in preparation for Heaven and Eternal Life. When asking yourself whether you should marry him for the sake of the children that you have together I would ask yourself these questions: How will marrying him enhance your and your children's lives? How will it enhance your and your children's spiritual growth? If your children were to grow up to be exactly like your partner, would you be satisfied with that? God knows that you want the absolute best for your children. There may be more solutions to this problem than you may think. Trust that God has a solution in mind. This is sad. Paul told us not to forsake the assembly or ourselves together.
