Спасибо, что снимаешь видео про такие места в России! Мне очень нравится романтика подобных небольших деревушек. А какая там природа с горами 😍 Привет из Ижевска!
your videos make your audience feel like they walked through the town themselves with a tour guide. The town is filled with character and beauty even the rundown buildings have a story to tell.
Hello again Elena, glad to see you are doing well. While I enjoy all of your videos, those showing the rural side of Russia are I believe special. Watching locals having a good time and some of the items they produce are wonderful. Anything special being planned for the summer months? Have fun and be safe.
Privet Elena and thank you for posting your video. It was both depressing and beautiful in many respects, the countryside especially. I hadn't heard the term "gopnik" used for awhile, best to avoid them. The "carts" are called ATV's or All Terrain Vehicles, perfect for bad roads.
Yeah, that's crazy when the Gopniks appeared standing like their up to no good, and it didn't seem safe. How do I know this.. Boris the youtuber. Lol, anyways, what a great video, Elena. Crazy to see lots of history can be in a small village.
This place looks like heaven, i would love to visit there and even live there that slower quieter pace is the kind i like so i would be content in that town and any other town where theres no lights or too much noise
Hi,.Elena. I am enjoying watching your videos about village life. It looks like beautiful nature. I don't find it depressing- it just seems similar to a lot of villages around the world which don't have a lot of industry nearby that is still in operation.
Privet Lenochka, your country fair videos are some of my most favorite ones 😊… the music, the food, the beautiful weather and scenery, the people… and of course, you! I do see beauty in these villages- the classic structures, the flowers and greenery, the natural food, etc. Perhaps it may get old in short time, but to visit for a day or even a week would be very gratifying. See you in your next video!
Hi Demetrius! Oh that's nice you think so! You're probably right, you'll just get used to that way of living after some time. It must have some advantages to city life, I guess :) See ya!
Your presentation of your tour through this village did not leave me with any feeling of depression. Most villages and small towns have a similar air of quiet simplicity. Theses are the places where the real people live. The vision of the horses running freely through the open spaces of the village was a comforting snap shot of daily life there. Altogether, your observations and impressions gave us the feeling of what daily life in rural Bashkiria is like.
I really enjoyed the videos of your visit to the area during the summer, so it was great to get to revisit it. To me, the town was not depressing at all but rather charming, and it seemed like such a lively place. It was quite refreshing to see folks of all ages there, because one often hears of Russian villages being only old folks' homes at this point. And a what a beautiful setting with the greenery, flowers, and mountains in the background. You really could not have picked a nicer day to film. These are the kinds of places I like to try to visit when I travel abroad! (They can be hard to find though.)
Hey Raul! I was also surprised that this village is so lively and is inhabited by all kinds of folks. I am the same as you, for me it's always interesting to visit such remote places :)
I love it when you are doing narration while you are exploring these places. Your discovery seeing things the first time is shared with your audience. My son lives in Birmingham. Like this village, it was founded in their location because of proximity to iron ore, limestone and coal. All are necessary to produce iron. Your videos have a way of sharing your exploring. Way to go, very cool.
Thank you, Jim! I'm really glad you liked my narration and the video in general 🙂Oh interesting! That village in England must look quite different to this one
@@elenastravels Birmingham, Alabama...in the US. They even have "Vulcan Park" where a huge sculpture of iron of the Roman God Vulcan is. The city is in an ideal location for the iron production. Thank you for your reply.

Thanks for sharing your travels and and most importantly your take on what you were feeling about this trip to the Urals. Really loved all the costumes that many were wearing for the festivities you watched. Have a great week Elena!
I did not find the village depressing at all! The Day of youth festival looked fun. The area has so many quaint features, and the people are lovely. Great to see kids and teens enjoying themselves. Nice video! And good job avoiding the gopniks. ☺
I had to look up "gopnik", and now I'm glad you steered clear of them. Hope you remain well in perpetuity, etc., and thank you for the always interesting content.
Thank you Elena for this upload, it makes me in great mood to end my Sunday :-). I enjoy discovering "real" Russia with this country side atmosphere. Such village are not that depressing if we like nature ... if the population & local economy could grow, those villages could have a second life with renovation of the houses ...
Hello Elena! Very happy you decided to upload this. I always enjoy watching your videos. You do a great job filming and editing. And, the places you go are always interesting to see, and learn about the culture there. Hope you are well and happy 😊
Hi Elena! This village seems very small, and appears to have lost it's larger industry, that built it. It's amazing that almost the entire village has gone to the anniversary celebration! And that's cool to have so much local pride! Thanks for the great video! Take good care, and stay safe!
Another amazing video Elena, the village has a bit of everything and it’s nice to see teenagers and youngsters still living in the village as in most villages you don’t really get to see many young people
I'm coming this year to russia for my bachelor...Moscow) love to live life and ofcourse,i😅 can't forget vodka)))) But to be honest, russians are friendly and helpful people...and i respect their culture and traditions❤
Hi Elena. I've never seen a mosque as colorful as that village one. I actually found the abandoned iron work fascinating. It's history, and they are proud of their heritage. It's another great video of your adventures 👍👍👍
I would not call it a depressing village, but rather a remote village. Many villages in other countries and also located off the beaten track have abandoned houses and closed factories. It's interesting for us to see how this looks in a remote part of Russia, and how people manage to live there. Such small iron works cannot compete against large scale industrial plants. In Germany or Belgium, they have turned much larger factories into museums. Look for example at "World Heritage Site Völklinger Hütte". That wheel you admired was most likely a part of the blower plant that blows air into the furnace to melt the iron.
Maybe you're right! I haven't been to many villages abroad... Interesting about the wheel! It could be part of the blower plant, but for some reason it was written next to the monument that it's dedicated to the first railroad... I'll look into it!
Good video, love it. Looks like one big happy family. Just a note: you said you were brought up in the city. It shows. You seem to be the process of "self-discovery". Both of your own country and things you never experienced before. I thought I felt some feelings of you missing the city. Maybe pangs of "homesickness"? Keep up the good work for your own self-discovery and your viewers. I wish you well. Be well and healthy. Thumbs up, subscribed.
Industrial heritage can be quite a big draw if it is developed. We have some of the earliest industry machines including the big winding wheels for mining that draw people who wish to research how we used to live and work. Quad bikes are useful for herding and access to the hills...if it's like our rural areas.
