As happy as I am that people have resonated with these “Sad and Sanitized” Sessions, I realized that I needed it just as much for myself. It gave me the space to continue writing and also the chance to work with some artists that I otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity to create with. Up until this point it’s been amazing musicians, which makes this one in particular a special one.
@danielk__ _ is an incredibly talented dancer that I had the pleasure of working with for this visual. We had last worked together on my “Outer Space” music video 3 years ago and God allowed our paths to cross once again to create this piece. He had initially choreographed to the snippet I posted and I reached out and asked if he’d be willing to expand it even more so with the full song. Couldn’t have worked with a better person. He took this song and perfectly translated the emotions and lyrics through his choreography. I’ve never been a dancer but I’ve always appreciated the art form and Daniel really brings this song to life. This one is special.
For all you out there who have been separated from their better halves during this quarantin, like me, I hope this story resonates with you. Featuring @gagagrace and keys by @patrickhizonmusic. This song and video was all done in the our own homes, no meeting up, no working in person, which makes me even more excited for what we came up with. Enjoy.
