I was lucky enough to see Death on three different tours. Living in Florida during the death metal boom certainly didn't hurt. Saw lots of classic bands back then, many of whom this talented beauty has already covered.
I can't get over how well this is played and how good it sounds. The ability to play fast and aggressive while maintaining composure so as to not blow out notes all over the place really helps to create a professional/studio quality sound.
It was the last song that chuck played in live concert just couple Ov days before his health issue got worse... RIP brother.. In your memories we gonna keep our faith in metal forever as you quote it.
Did she ever get a band going ? It would be interesting what direction she'd choose musically for original material . Considering she can play practically every song recorded note for note
Great song from a first class band. Truly transcends the death metal label. Chuck was a non commercial artist who valued the art over the industry. One of a kind talent. Thanks for honoring him with your awsome rendition.
Death's Leprosy was a new release when I started listening to metal (I'm in my mid-forties now). Leprosy and Bathory's Blood Fire Death were my first 'proper' metal albums. Always loved Pull The Plug. RIP Chuck.
I really like the sense of strength and liveliness your guitar gives w/ your skilled playing. As a guitarist, I really like the solo since you make it sound so fierce and captivating!
Great playing, it’s awesome to see someone out there playing music no matter what the genre, I’m a metal player myself amongst other styles and influences. Keep doing what you’re doing, I can tell you’re passionate about your playing. Sky is the limit, take care.
Been playing guitar for 18 years. Self taught. Now that Im 30 i think im gonna try guitar school and learn how to read music and work on posture etc.. I was always to stubborn to have someone tell me how to play. It was the one thing I could control. Inspiring video thank you
You can only go so far being self taught I'm in same boat. I'm 34 been playing off and on 20 yrs I should know way more than what I know it takes longer for me to learn scales riffs than others but it's all about how much you willing to put in with the guitar you put time and effort into it and the guitar will speak. Don't put it off either play and play even if you having off days at least you can say you picked it up and played
Thank you for posting this, was a great help relearning my solo. Lol... I'm recording it for a band tomorrow, and the last time I played was in "1989" great cover. Cheers & Peace. (R.I.P.) " Chuck Schuldiner/Death

Savage! Found this by mistake, damn I miss Chuck! - I don't see any Carcass on your channel ha. I recommend Carcass: Death Certificate from the album Heartwork. Such fun to play. It's like a death metal version of Oliver Twist's "Reviewing the Situation". 🤣
How's this.. . You are better than 99.9% of most metal musicians (who claim to be metal) today. And that was just a cover, by the great DEATH. Love you! 😍🖤💚
Dude you are the coolest of the people who do this type of stuff on youtube. LIke you are serious about it and not smiling and shit while you are playing super dark death metal shit. Thank you
Outstanding performance of a classic Death song. Rick's dive bombs are very technical and love how close you got to capturing them along with the pinch harmonics.
2:43-3:13 on point! Great work Ma'am. When this song ended my brain went to CHOKE ON IT! and then I remembered how great OPEN CASKET is....... LOVE DEATH.
