As a kid when I watched this movie I was so disappointed that Dia's character didn't end up with Saif's character. He was just.. Nicer. Par Bollywood hai... Thodi toxicity in relationship toh banta hai.

I still remember watching this movie as a kid . The hype was real. My teenage sister was obsessed with the music and Dia Mirza's style. My mum watched the movie and called Maddy's character out immediately. That time I didn't get why was she pissed but now I sooo get it.

I always wondered why that delivery boy is so smart than the Hero. He is Jacky
yes he is THE Jacky.
When I watched this movie last year, I was horrified at myself for liking it as a teen. Maddy, his dad and his friends is everything what is wrong with the society. As an adult I could barely sit through the movie and in the second half, some of Maddy's dialogues were so mysoginistic that it feels criminal.
The only saving grace of this movie is Harris Jayaraj who gave us a stunning soundtrack and the Flute/Rain theme ( which I still listen to).

About the movie..I never liked it then..not now and I like to see toxic relationships called out and roasted. The whole generations after generations are living in this weird fantacy of toxic boyfriend/ girlfriend being normal and romantic. It's not! Love you girl for speaking out my and lots of other women's mind :)

A minor problem I have is that, maybe your audio equipment is not that good, also try recording audio in some other room where reverb is not that big(see online how to check reverb of a room or how to reduce it). Would be cool if this channel blows up.

Wow!! I still remember buying the cassette for this movie and was really gobsmacked when the cassette kaku handed a a box containing 2 cassettes. For a 90's kid that was like free ka dhonapata with vegetables :D The second cassette had different versions of the line "Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein".
Now again this was my first time listening to different versions of Title track as well :D
One memory that got triggered seeing that cutting off telephone connection is, I was 5 (I think) and my mom was an avid Aahat/ Zee Horror Show fan.I used to be extremely petrified of the background music and the safed bhoot they used to portray, therefore I tried disconnecting our cable connection by chewing off the wire :D :D . Now, I am a 90's kid so you can imagine what my Ma, Baba and Thamma did to me when they found me chewing the wire :D

No no don't let a random rant tarnish your memories. We can identify certain problematic stuff in a movie, but it still shouldn't mess with the nostalgic mark it left on us once.
Where are the movie videos from? Such good quality. Haven't found this movie in such great quality.
The movie is close to every Mumbai folks who grew up in 90s.

I made a review types of video of a song but I got copyright claim. But I've heard that when we do voice overs, we don't get any claim for that cz our work is also involved in it n it's made for entertainment purpose. The video is of the song nodoubt but complete voice over is mine. What should i do? Plz help 🙏
Tricky subject actually. I try to use as less music as possible. There's no recipe unfortunately. You can try to use more of the voice part and less of the song. That's all I can give you :(
