A few years ago I heard about a guy who ate a slug to win a challenge with his friends and because of a parasite (probably the one you mentioned at the end of the video, which the slugs can get eating rat poop) is now paralyzed from the neck down.

The bleeding disorder may be from the H1 and H2 immune response to bacterial allies that work with the worms. Resulting in a thinning of the blood due to dynamics in the inflammatory response. Sci show talks about this in their heartworm video. Hope that helps you find the cause of the bleeding disorder.
You might find this crazy, but I had a nightmare where my dominant arm look like a waffle. I don't know why didn't felt any pain when I examine it. What made matters worse is when I see that I am infested with bees. I woke up and have trouble sleeping, before this video was posted.
Angiostrongylus is a genus included under super family Metastrongyloidea which is a super family of lung worms which includes the family of pig lung worms Metastrongylidae. So it really is a lung worm and Levamisole or other similar drugs can be used against it.

Well,there is a little grammar problem in this video.
Thr French Heartworm is not Angiostringylus Vasorum.,but ANGIOSTRONGLYUS VASORUM.

I heard about a kid who was dared to it a snail, ate it and it turned out that the snail had a mouse parasite in it, the parasite didn't know what to do in a human host so the boy ended up becoming in a vegetative state. Very scary.
