People thinks that is a good romantic, but isn't. Angela is just a simple-ignorant girl who is in love in veeery wrong guy. That guy is use her every single day which is a kind of humiliation, but she doesn't recognize and doesn't admit it...so tipical :) please, don't cal it good romance. In large, this is the best teen tv show, ever! Winnie made it!
I LOVE the whole scene of them making eye contact, him walking down the hall, Angela being unsure of what is going on, Jordan taking a second thought of what he is about to do, and then the look on Angela's face as Jordan holds her hand signifying to everyone, they are now a "thing". I was only 7 when My So-Called Life originally aired so I didn't really get to watch it, but used to watch it on reruns on MTV with my friends and I remember just being so in love with Jordan Catalano, thinking Rayanne was the coolest, and wanted a BFF like Ricky...I learned in high school it wasn't cool or fun to be the Rayanne (non-stop partying) or to have your own version of Jordan Catalano lol (but it's always great to have a bff like Ricky!). I've been rewatching the show on Hulu recently (hence coming here to listen to the song) and I still love this show as much as I did when I was a kid, teen, etc...I just wish they had made more than 1 season...

sometimes I wish there was a season 2 but the mystery of not knowing what happens is what makes the show intriguing ... same thing with Geeks and Freaks, the mystery makes it a classic

Grunge and Heavy Metal throwing off the cobwebs of stale previous generations hair metal, post punk and synth while retaining the styles of the only good bands from the 80s, Bauhaus, The Cure, Echo and the Bunnymen, the Smiths and Joy Division. People were more real and open Summers were magical and Winters spent with real friends sharing experiences together. Fuck I miss the 90s.

The music, the hurt, the gesture, the reaction... Claire Danes killed it. It’s so great getting to see this again! I had video-taped it back in the day but fat chance of ever seeing that again lol. I love this show too. The song sounds really good too, but I wish the lyrics were better, esp the part about "if I could hold them in my hand" and "if I could put them in a jar". Not the best lyrics for such an excellent sounding song. There was lots of potential.

I think the 90s and early 2000s was the best, but I didn't really experience either that well because I was born in 1990. At 31, I feel like everything is just downhill after 25. I question why I'm still even alive every single day. I don't want to be here anymore.

MSCL depicted this relationship so realistically. It's so frustrating/heartbreaking watching it as an adult, how teenage girls (myself included!) deemed the end as so romantic when Jordan grabs her hand, doing practically the bare minimum to keep Angela interested. Who hasn't been there?!
He's a nervous, confused, deeply insecure boy, dealing with emotions and hormones that are new to him. Stop with the boys are evil and girls are victims shit. This show could have been just as easily about a boy being lead on by a 'mean girl' and it would have been just as honest as this version.

Was never into these kinds of TV shows but tripped when I saw the actress I know as "Carrie Mathison" in the footer and had to backtrack through the vid and said wow....much younger looking. Like her hair color better as opposed to the what I see as "harsh" blond look and not sure if thats just for Homeland or how she always colors her hair. Cool vid!! Love Buffalo Tom
