Congrats on being 13 years smoke free!
I loved the TV guide! I’d circle and highlight my favorite shows. That’s when we would all watch our shows on the same night and talk about it the next day. TV was better then… Thanks for all the hard work you put into your channel ❤
Congrats on 13 years! I started dipping when I joined the Military at 18 and stopped when I got out in 2015. I have to say I still crave it almost every day but have been staying strong lol.
Ms Mary thank you for your videos, you help me get my 5 year old who is on the spectrum to sleep every night, he says "watch Ms Mary" when he's ready for bed 🩵🩵
The way you added “in the box” to the end of your cigarette order was so nostalgic and comforting 🤣 wild how the brain works
Lol ... i dont know if you've ever heard of books" ... 😂😂😂
That had me cackling 😂
I remember our local tv guide came weekly in the Sunday newspaper. So weird to think back at how things were done compared to now. My kids are 7 and 11 and I tell them you don't realize how good you have it now! 😂
I was talking about TV Guide at work the other day. My Dad who recently passed away would complete the Crossword Puzzle every week. I was a Marlboro Lights smoker too, started with 100's switched to shorts eventually. I quit also btw... I miss the 80's😢
Interesting fact: Jon Erik Hexum died on the set of Cover Up. He was messing around with a gun loaded with blanks, and shot himself in the head. He didn't realize that blanks are actually deadly when you hold the gun against your temple.
Oh yikes!
I remember that...I was heartbroken! He was gorgeous 😢
i doubt you’ll ever see this but i’ve been enjoying your asmr content since i started watching years go and i would love to see an asmr video of you telling some fun stories about yourself or your life. feel like since i’ve been watching i haven’t seen much about you and i’ve always found comfort in life stories lol !!! thank you for being the best !!!!❤❤❤
Loved this video 🥰 came just in time for bed, school has been exhausting me
I used to LIVE for the tv guide and I remember my siblings and I would fight over it. 😂
The TV Guide was like the bible in my house growing up - couldnt live without it. 1984, the year of my first crush, sigh........
The magic of oil painting with william alexander , brilliant artist.
love these magazine review style videos ❤
What a great idea for this ASMR post. It was cool going thru that old t.v. guide
1984. That’s when I graduated high school man do I feel old 😂
I loved the tv guide as well and always checking for my favorite tv shows such as The Bionic Woman. I was obsessed with that show.👍🏻👍🏻
E/R was a comedy and was only on for like a year. Funnily enough, George Clooney was in both shows!
The World's Fair was held in New Orleans in 1984. So cool to see the other foods of the world.
An 80s TV Guide. I couldn’t click and like fast enough. I would definitely be excited for more 80s nostalgia.
I remember the TV Guide feature callec "Cheers and Jeers" where they'd praise or complain about certain shows or stars. 😊
Oh man, the memories. I was 7 years old in 1984.
1984, what a cool year
I loved this, brilliant!! I love tv!
Please make more graveyard videos, I adored them!!❤❤❤❤😊
Unfortunately, youtube doesn't like the graveyard videos. Long story short, I can't do those. 😕
I miss those simple times. I was 9 years old in '84.
We’d get the TV Guide and my dad would grab it and say, “Let’s see who is terrorizing Jaclyn Smith this week.” (She was always in some stressful night time special made-for-TV movie.) My mom finally reached her limit and said, “Can you please save the crossword for someone else?!” She’d had enough of my crap, I guess.
Kate & Allie is still one of my fave shows of all-time.
Oh my goodness! Marble light 100s, my mom smoked for over 30 years! The exact same ones lol
I loved my boombox. I took that thing everywhere I went in my house in my bedroom or in the backyard. But I was never allowed to take it anywhere else. Like to a friends house. That boom box that I had was a gift from my grandfather that had moved to Florida, and that was the last time I saw him before he passed away. Now I wish I still had it.
There's a channel called Techmoan. It's a British guy who looks at technology, some new items, some vintage. He's featured boomboxes of various ages. Hint, don't buy a modern cassette-based one.
@@defaultuser1447Thanks for the tip!! 😊
Wow interesting I miss getting tv guides ❤congrats on 13 yrs smoke free next April I'll be 18 yrs smoke free
So many fun memories❤
I have never smoked but I bought a pack on the way in this morning 😂
throw it away!
Amazing video 😻
Tussy is indeed still made, & available on Amazon.
genZ brainrot has me losin it over Tussy 😭
"He's got some unexpected pleasure for you lady, brace yourself" 😂😂
The boom boxes were pretty expensive for back then
I was 6 m/o when this came out 😂😂😂😂😂
In the not so famous, but very wise words of my mother quitting nicotine is way harder than just not starting
Best year to be born in. Lol
It smells like the 80s omg 😂😂😂
My birth year!
So i knew that you could record on vhs tapes but you could record on cassette tapes as well? Did you record music? Born in '92 so I know about a lot of things but apparently not everything! Lol
So you wouldn't have heard of mix tapes ? 🤣
Sure you could record on cassettes. Back in the 90s, you'd have your stereo system. That would be a turntable, cassette deck, receiver, speakers. Maybe an amp if you were fancy. You would copy songs off the records to tape. They even sold dual cassette decks so you could dub a tape to a blank.
Never Cry Wolf was great
