Good content. But I don't have good experience in this Ramsay SD hospital in Desa Park. Price is exorbitant and always overbill, check your bills carefully. Disappointed with the service everytime eventhough the Equipments are top class.
Malaysia PH famous for being expensive for local especially if you have medical card...... but my experience form this PH, they way different level compare other........; just watch out your bill, count the number carefully.....

Yes and no... You can possibly claim some back but its always better to buy local insurance, especially now private hospitals will ask you to settle the payment before any surgery is done.

医院服务非常好，我当年在吉隆坡的时候曾经一度想要母亲在这里的国家心脏中心做手术，已经咨询的差不多了，问到一年会有多少例这样的手术，回答说：“我们的医生很有经验，医院一年有十几例这类手术”……我就害怕了。手术这种事情，是科技+经验，这类手术在中国的普通三甲医院，两三周就会有十几例，医生经验是非常丰富的。但我又不太信的过别的层面的东西，比如用药……权衡之下如果有以后有需要，可能会考虑香港医院。

對的！我朋友的丈夫在政府医院做前列線手术，私人医院要六千多元，政府医院出院只收百多元！我丈夫每一个月去政府医院拿药，一分钱都不用給！所以説做人要滿足和感恩！
大馬政府醫院的確很好，但要排隊的時間會長了一點點，除非不是十萬火急、嚴重的病情是可以接受的 👍

馬來西亞在好多方面是要贊許的當然亦有負面情況有進步空間,我曾於70年代到東馬旅遊當時首相馬哈迪醫生有好慨建議,如自產汽車(名叫國家英雄)更於全國廣植棕油樹,亦於80/90年代到西馬旅遊.我在2018年想到馬來西亞退休養老未有成行原因是基於負面情況並冇改善.

喺马来西亚医疗系统的确系唔错。但系仲有好多穷人有病有痛就去政府医院畀一蚊，等一两粒钟睇医生，根本就冇所谓嘅体检。亦都冇听闻过政府医院有得做体检，除非係个别例子。对于收费，如果係攞香港嘅平均收入来做比较当然係话算啦。
我每次有病都去政府诊所看医生，收RM1,每都医生都叫我去量血压，抽血，验尿，反而去私人诊所，就问几句话，拿点药就收我RM60，从那以后我只喜欢去政府诊所看病，不是它便宜，而是他们验的比私人诊所还详细。
體檢需要先去社區診所被醫生診斷後有需要全身檢驗才會開個報告讓你去醫院體檢。
在马来西亚，如果你有买保险公司的medical card，大病（要住院动手术）那种是可以claim的，甚至在整个疗程里都是可以claim的。每张medical card的报销额不一样，我的是一年一百万的，也就是说每一年看病（大病）在一百万以下的都可以赔付。

No, insurance is not international, it does not apply across boundaries.
consult your insurance agent in hong kong. they may have some special upgrade perhaps? the only cross border one I know of is travel insurance
