Audio was a bit rough for this one boys. Thanks for getting this up though! I'm loving the new rules. Edit: Was Anakin close enough to get cover in that opening AAT shot?
Thanks for the feedback! Excellent question on the cover. If memory serves we measured it off screen and the answer was yes. Looking at the film it seems pretty far, so maybe he shouldn't have. We can do better about showing the measurement in the future!
@@crit2block exactly my thought. Just had a similar shot in the open with my atst where i wiped out an entire ARC squad, shooting over an house, but they were too far to gain cover.
Fun stuff. Looking forward to more batreps with the new rules. Useful for me who's just learning the game. Thanks for pointing them out as they come up!
Glad to hear it was helpful! As we move forward and get a better understanding of the rules for ourselves, we will definitely be keeping the trend going.
Deflect no longer needs to activate, it is always available while defending against ranged attacks. You get surge:block, and if you roll any surges in the defense roll, the attacker suffers 1 wound
Hey, I’m noticing that you guys are moving troops in the notch of the movement tool. You no longer have to do that on units only vehicles. Basically you get a tiny bit longer length of your movement we’re not putting them in the notch is all. Keep up the good work.
You are correct. Although you have to start in the notch, by no means do you have to end in the notch on the other side. Muscle memory is going to be a pain to beat!
Thank you for the upload 👍 Question : how could B1 pass an order before they deployed, considering that they are not physically on the map, so the range 1 is virtually not measurable?
The new rules have it on page 12. Undeployed units are always in los and are considered in range 1 of each other for as long as they are undeployed. This allows for b1 chaining, direct, issuing orders, retinue, etc. to trigger while units remain undeployed!
Thanks for the bat rep with new rules guys. Am I missing something though, how are the ARCs getting their Critical 1? I thought that was taken off the sniper long ago and I can’t find any literature saying it had returned.
Arcs had crit 1 taken off on the errata page of the rules documents. That removal no longer appeared on the document, so the assumption was that they received crit 1 back. This may be updated in the rules forum or documents in the coming days.
@@DirectorGash0001 Follow up on this message, it has since been confirmed that the card was missed from the errata list and should not have crit 1. Will be fixed next time arcs hit the table!
Since when can you attack two times with Anakin? Charge gives you a free attack action, but you still only can use one attack action in one activation. Or is this also any new or changed rule?
This was a change to his 1 pip card which gives him a free action jump and allows him to perform up to 2 attack actions that turn. Since there isn't timing on when they need to happen Anakin can move charge move charge if he wants!
Good video but the audio needs to be much better! Also nothing against the clones player but clones are just silly with everything having red saves lol
@@crit2block I think you'll want to double check that. All the army builders, and what I remember last I saw his card in person, was melee to range 2, not 3
Richard would probably agree with you. On the other hand, you should see Tyler's Droids from his competitive lists before the rules changes. Especially the one that won the Cherokee Open this year. Those modeling jobs would make you weep from the beauty. Once he lands on a new list, you will see what we mean. Thanks for watching!
Appreciate pointing out new rules as they come up
With all the new changes, we definitely believed it would be helpful. Glad it was appreciated!

Thanks for saying so. We will be putting out a "How to Play" series so stay tuned!
Super helpful to see how some of the new rules interact. Thanks guys!

You guys need better audio.
We will work on that for next time.
@@crit2block Thanks for doing a good job of explaining things though

True, unless the opponent's attack pool has all high velocity weapons like the AAT then you get neither surge to block or deflecting wounds.
Argh, always read the last paragraph…
Great guys! But if u can improve audio and video quality, it will be even better!!
We agree. Thanks for the feedback!
Great video!
But...Needs better audio if possible.
@@jasondeberry3353 thank you, I think our batteries died in the microphone mid filming.

No joke! Thanks for watching

@@crit2block thank you for the follow up guys. It’s a shame though, I was hoping the Crit 1 was back on the table.
did you say the DC15 is NOT on the removed card list? can you point me towards that rule?
It has since been added back so please disregard! At the time of filming the dc15 had been removed from the errata list so we played it with crit 1

Hi, what's that blue strip along the side of the table?
@@MegaDeathToaster it is the 5th trooper side bar
Nice play bro 🎉
Thanks ✌
When Building the Mission can't you also have you opponent change out their advantage?
Good catch! Yes that is something you are able to do.
Nice work ❤ You cant pass and pass IMHO.
Your humble opinion is also the correct one! Thanks for the heads up.
Need to lower the music and up the mics. Really hard to hear.
You are definitely right. Thanks for the feedback, when our next video comes out, let us know if it improves!
The first Bad Batch shot, Wrecker is only range 1-2 unless I missed an errata in 2.6.0?
Wrecker is melee to range 3 natively! Everyone else (except crosshair) is range 1-2

love the videos, but man... get a boom mic and ask a friend to paint those minis to a decent table top standard and do some basing. thats a shame.
These are high ranking players, their minis are the standard

Nice report guys! You also missed new feature of new rules. Like backup from corps. I think Kalani can stay alive a bit longer
For sure missed a few rules that we've been discussing during editing. We will be better going forward as we continue to learn!
The attack on Kalani was range 2 so no backup allowed. Ou got it right guys
