So ** from fingerprinting - CTS - pearson vue and etc until you received your ATT? Hi Kate, For Illinois State do we need SSN after passing nclex to apply for license because they have mentioned that for now we can add 99999 but when applying for license we need SSN. (Can we get license without SSN if we fill SSN affadavit form?)

Would you happen to know if I can endorse my expired (non-active) NMI RN license to Illinois? Someone told me they were able to endorse their expired license to NY but I dont know if it can be done with Illinois, too.
Hi Kate, about the Authorization to Test, the validity is only 3 months, does it mean you need to take the test within that period? Or you can take the test beyond that 3 months as long as you scheduled it before it expires? Thanks for the help:)

From what I know, if the state requires it, you should take it first. Your test result will be included in the CES report from CGFNS, before you can be approved to sit for NCLEX. But I highly recommend checking the official website of your state for specific requirements.

And i got a mail from Continental testing service that they received my application, so for fuether processing i have to validate my email on jan 4 2022,but after that i have no updates from them. So what could i do to know about my status to get ATT?

@Cleo - Tbh, it's hard for me to to give you advice on that since I never experienced processing it while outside the US. I think the caveat here is that you need a USD account to process the payments. If you can contact your local bank and see if they can provide such service, I believe there's no problem processing it yourself. For the fingerprints, go to NBI/FBI/Police office.
Hi Kate, I have completed CGFNS and advisory report issued, took an appointment for nclex examination through Pearson vue. I'm unable to register in IDFPR website, they are asking SSN(Social security number). How can I register without it, I'm not a US citizen /visa holder. I'm living UAE. That's for other licenses you hold, if any, that you'd like to be included in the evaluation. In my case, I didn't have anything else other than the CES/NCLEX-RN basic requirements.

I would recommend checking if your documents are still valid or active in the CGFNS platform. It sometimes has expiration dates and would require you to start all over again. For me, I purchased the their "E-saved" service = four years of document retention service for all orders placed.

I heard TOEFL is a lot harder than IELTS. If the state accepts IELTS, I would recommend IELTS instead. English test should come first before you process CGFNS (if the state requires) because it should be part of your CES report, and only then they can approve you to sit for NCLEX.

Hi, I was scheduled for NCLex exam last April 22, 2021 in Taiwan but due to Covid 19, I was not able to enter Taiwan. I'm not completely sure how it works for retakers. Please review Page 3: continentaltestinginc.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Procedure-for-the-Illinois-041-Registered-Professional-Nurse-Examination-rev-11-28-18.pdf It says you can check the status of your application here: www.continentaltesting.net/OnlineStatus/Login.aspx If it really says to send a printed version of the application, then that probably is what you should do. Make sure you research and read the instructions again. If still unsure, I would suggest giving them a call or email them. Best of luck!

I have a doubt regarding Att and booking exam date. My doubt is whether we need to write the exam before expire CGFNS report issue date (one year validity) or will consider state board application submit date validity My Cgfns report issue January 2021 and state board applications submitted July 2021. Kindly please clarify my doubt when should I complete my exam (before January 2022 or July 2022). My board of application is Illinois Finger prints and other ppaers in state board submitted Should I consider only state boards one year validity to write exam ?
On of the requirements for taking "Philippines board exam for nurses" is completing your cases during school. example was OR cases, DR cases so on. I remember correctly you are required atleast 3-5 cases in each area in order to take board exam for Philippine RN license. My question is do you still need to submit them to CGFNS? or do they requested those cases from you when you apply? Thank you
No you don't need to. Your school will take charge of filling out the college education forms - you'll have to print those out (it will be in your CGFNS acct after paying for it) and bring to your school. They will send it straight to CGFNS in a sealed envelope.

Hi My ces report for illinois is expired in aug 2021. Without knowing that I applied through cts. Then I got a letter back from cts stating that reprocess ces report to illinois. How should i reprocess my ces report again. There is no option to reprocess my ces report in cgfns . I tried to contact cgfns no answer from their side. Could you please help me with that. Hi! While you are still in PH, I'd recommend you apply for CGFNS CES asap so you still have time to go to your school or to PRC in order to process the requirements. If you want to do it yourself, do it while you're still there. Hi! Ideally, you would complete all the requirements first before applying with CTS but if you applied with incomplete requirements, they will mail you a letter mentioning what else is missing. You can just then comply asap. CTS is the one authorized to check your eligibility to sit for NCLEX.

I believe some of the documents/requirements are set to expire after a certain amount of time. You might want to check on those and plan around it.

You have to take the test within the validity of your ATT.

@Cleo - Tbh, it's hard for me to to give you advice on that since I never experienced processing it while outside the US. I think the caveat here is that you need a USD account to process the payments. If you can contact your local bank and see if they can provide such service, I believe there's no problem processing it yourself. For the fingerprints, go to NBI/FBI/Police office.
@Nella for as long as your CGFNS/CES is valid, I believe it should be fine. Just request to have your required credentials submitted to IL (CTS).

In my case, yes I waited until I successfully had my CES issued before applying with CTS for NCLEX.

That's for other licenses you hold, if any, that you'd like to be included in the evaluation. In my case, I didn't have anything else other than the CES/NCLEX-RN basic requirements.

I would recommend checking if your documents are still valid or active in the CGFNS platform. It sometimes has expiration dates and would require you to start all over again. For me, I purchased the their "E-saved" service = four years of document retention service for all orders placed.

I heard TOEFL is a lot harder than IELTS. If the state accepts IELTS, I would recommend IELTS instead. English test should come first before you process CGFNS (if the state requires) because it should be part of your CES report, and only then they can approve you to sit for NCLEX.

I heard IELTS is a lot easier than TOEFL, so I would recommend taking the IELTS to fulfill the requirement for English proficiency.

I believe there's an expiration date of 4yrs. But I would recommend logging in to your CGFNS account and check the status. If it shows expired/inactive, you'll have to re-order/re-submit. More info here:

In continental testing service IDFPR in that their is a applicant identification information. Their we should provide an address which address should we need to provide working address or address in passport?

You can put n/a if not employed. Reason: NCLEX. Although I would recommend you email ACME to be very sure. They are very responsive.

If it really says to send a printed version of the application, then that probably is what you should do. Make sure you research and read the instructions again.

I have a doubt regarding Att and booking exam date.
My doubt is whether we need to write the exam before expire CGFNS report issue date (one year validity) or will consider state board application submit date validity
My Cgfns report issue January 2021 and state board applications submitted July 2021.

What's the SSN to use to Register when you are a foreign applicant in order to Register
On of the requirements for taking "Philippines board exam for nurses" is completing your cases during school. example was OR cases, DR cases so on. I remember correctly you are required atleast 3-5 cases in each area in order to take board exam for Philippine RN license. My question is do you still need to submit them to CGFNS? or do they requested those cases from you when you apply? Thank you
No you don't need to. Your school will take charge of filling out the college education forms - you'll have to print those out (it will be in your CGFNS acct after paying for it) and bring to your school. They will send it straight to CGFNS in a sealed envelope.

My ces report for illinois is expired in aug 2021. Without knowing that I applied through cts. Then I got a letter back from cts stating that reprocess ces report to illinois. How should i reprocess my ces report again. There is no option to reprocess my ces report in cgfns . I tried to contact cgfns no answer from their side. Could you please help me with that. Or should I reapply again the whole process through cgfns.
I saved all my documents in esaved. Will that help.

Did get yours processed? You should be able to just process reevaluation with cgfns and pay a fee.

Log in to your CGFNS account to check its status. If it doesn’t say expired, then it should be ok.

Hi! While you are still in PH, I'd recommend you apply for CGFNS CES asap so you still have time to go to your school or to PRC in order to process the requirements. If you want to do it yourself, do it while you're still there. Hi! Ideally, you would complete all the requirements first before applying with CTS but if you applied with incomplete requirements, they will mail you a letter mentioning what else is missing. You can just then comply asap. CTS is the one authorized to check your eligibility to sit for NCLEX.

After using uworld twice and failing, I never knew I could ever pass the nclex but today I am very happy. I just passed my Nclex on my third attempt with a great help from Dr Luther
