Although his defensive style ain't full of highlights as much as Gobert, Adebayo or Bridges. But his presence at the game improve his teammates defense and awareness, he can guard 1-5 uniquely for his size and very efficiently.

Seems have a physicality involve everytime he collides the officials letting it go! But seeing some is he had a highest +- on D if he's around and he helps his team winning with the way he plays D and he deserves probably due to Celtics improvement from last year finish on regular season..Don't get me wrong it's just my opinion..
