3:35 If you are struggling with lock use normal ACM. Turn off your PD, you will have a much better lock. You can also use normal ACM when you want to kill people with radar missiles from rear-aspect.
PD is much better at locking than normal ACM. PD only loses lock when they are notching, while normal radar loses lock if they are too close to the ground
It has a wayyyy better radar, I have both f16a ADF and f16c and I can say the f16c has a better radar
But both of them dont have "TWS" mode in radar, unlike F14's or Mig29's :(

Yeah the f16c radar is trash. It reminds me of the f4e radar, but the f4e radar is more reliable sadly.
3:30 Though I don't have the F16C yet, It could be the PD mode that is making you lose lock since the angle you're at, for the radar it looks like the target is notching. In this situation use the SRC(search) mode bc it's clear sky behind him
Even so, F-16C radar can switch modes without breaking lock, like F-14 can.

Don't think he realises that even if they do see the 9M they can only hope and pray because flares are absolutely USELESS. That thing just completely pretends the flares don't even exist

There’s an f4s beginner tutorial by jaek_ and he gives a quick and dirty explanation of radar and, to me, that was by far the most useful radar guide I’ve seen yet

That changes things a touch. Though if we're unnerfing things according to real life the C came with AIM-120s. The entire concept of balance is a mess at this point.
