Laughing at your dad's knees story. Love hearing your chat and seeing those books. I've only just started crochet and I'm loving it. I'm crocheting a rabbit and it's so cute. (as you would say "I've fallen down a rabbit hole!". Thanks Jeanette..you are great 😃
The number of Amigurumi books that are available out there is absolutely mind blowing. Overwhelming!!! So hard to choose what to make.... Love all the makes and books.
This is the first time on your channel and I loved it. I got super excited about the let's go camping, I am 55 years old. I am like a kid I had to look that up on Amazon. Love these book looks. Thanks so much for sharing.
Welcome to my little corner of RUclips Judy, you are very welcome. My next project is going to be the caravan. I have tried it a couple of times before but was never happy with the result ( I’m. Wry fussy ) 🙁 I’m hoping third time lucky and it will turn out right. Xxxxx
Just found you. Subscribed and liked. Love crochet channels. I cleaned out about 200 of my books this winter and kept about 100. Kept all my amigrumi books. Was time.
Loving the story about your wonderful Dad's knees!! I too was fortunate to have an amazing Father and love to have surprise reminders of him. How lucky are we? Superb episode Jeanette - your passion is infectious xxxx
My parents were my world, such kind and caring people, not to just to us there children but to everyone. I miss them both so much. We are lucky your right. Hope you have a great week Fleur. Xxxxx
Ooh, loved all the crochet book eye candy, such a treat, thank you for sharing them Jeanette and your dad’s knotty knees! I hope you find the time to make everything that’s taken your fancy. Take care 🧶🧵💕
This is a great idea, enjoyed seeing all your books so many beautiful things to make. Just love the Lets Go Camping definitely a must to be added to the list. Knots on cotton is hilarious your Dad must have been a real character. If I crocheted the grandfather I would have to put him in long pants my grandfather refused to wear shorts we never saw his legs and only remember seeing his pearly white feet. LOL. I hope My Lady enjoyed her roast beef.🤭
My Dad was the best Donna, unfortunately I lost both my parents at a young age 16 months apart. He would have loved all my creations. Ps my Sunday lunch was beautiful. Xxx
There is a pig in the Mabel bunny book … I made a large Mabel and two small baby bunnies for my granddaughter for Christmas x Lovely easy pattern to follow x Thanks for sharing your books .. some I have .. some mmm Amazon calling xx lo
You are too cute, 🥰 when you said… it really doesn’t matter about the frog having a dress on, that made me laugh 😆and then you changed his/her name. You’re right it really doesn’t matter 😘😚😝❤❤❤🐸🐸🐸!!!!
Just had a lovely cup of tea with you and enjoyed looking through your books. I remember some of your wonderful makes and have some of those books; thank you for the inspiration xxx
Hello Jeanette, it was lovely seeing your books. I too collect books. I have the Pica Pau books in my Wishlist. I also have Lula and her Amigurumi Friends in my wish list too. I get so much pleasure looking through them and this year I intend to make more. We are moving mid year so I am in the midst of packing things away ready to sell the house. I am trying to get a safari blanket done for my grandson who lives in the UK but it's taking longer than I thought, some times there just isn't enough time in the day. Take care and have a lovely week. ❤
I love the lets go camping book i will look into getting that one we have been going going only since last summer so I'm late to that party lol and would love to crochet some for my little granddaughter to play with I'm so pleased i tagged you now all your books are fabulous xxx
Thank you for the tag, I love joining in and getting involved. The caravan and camping book by Kate is very adorable and I think you can grab a copy from Amazon. Until next time. Xxxx
Oh I want to make them all but I haven't crocheted since the 70s so I'll have to get my knitted toy patterns out and use them!! Not sure how far down the rabbit hole I will fall lol xx
Hello, Thank you for taking the time to share and... Enabling us to buy more books. 😂 I gotta have a lot of those books especially the camping book!! Love your video, you're so funny! 😊 BTW, what book are those toys on your shelf out of? The little girl and teddy.
Lovely podcast. I bought The Mabel Bunny & Co for myself the other week and plan Mabel Bunny to be my first attempt at making a crochet toy. Hopefully it will work out well 😅xx
Thank you for sharing your books Jeannette. I really enjoyed this video very much. I also want to say that I feel proud of you for helping Ukraine. We can do something small and it can make a big difference in the end.
Have made Mabel bunny a few times and also Lionel Lamb for a little boy fighting the big C, also the polar bear too, they always find a home and I have yet to be able to keep one of them for myself! Very very huggable xx
How wonderful of you to make him a lovey, I do hope he made a full recovery. They look very huggable, it’s definitely going in my box under the bed. Xxx
Hi Jeanette fab as always i have made Madel Bunny and the Dragon inspired by the Drogons Den they are huge i actually made them with the thick baby yarn from Aldi and they came out so well i was also really surprised how easy they were instructions brill
Oh thank you for the heads up on the yarn janette, the yarn they are actually made in is super expensive so a good alternative is what’s needed I think. Xx
Do you know someone on RUclips who made tutorial to do Amigurumi in front of the camera?? Everyone shows us the books, good. But I never do by crochet "a cute friend".
The fact that there are so many free patterns available, it's so easy to become a pattern hoarder. Yet we still also buy single patterns and books, we'll probably never even open. At least this hashtag made everyone open theirs and LOOK at the patterns, at least this one time! 🤣
Thank you for nominating me, Jeanette - I shall look forward to chatting about my amigurumi books! I think that all of these little characters that we make are brilliant for our mental well-being- not just because making things is good for us, but also because when we look at our finished friends they really raise our spirits and we just can’t help but smile! (And, can you believe, I have no Pica Pau books!!) Sending love to you xx
Oh Thank you Helen, I knew you’d take part. I can not believe you haven’t got a pic pau book, is there a reason ? I guess not everyone likes them, I know Dawn is not a lover of them. Your definitely right about our mental well being, my hobby I’d my therapist. Take care my lovely friend. Xxxxx
