True story: many years ago I worked at a futon store. The store manager was born and raised in Japan. We were working in the store together one afternoon when an attractive redheaded woman came in. I rushed to help her and spent about a half hour explaining futon and the different products we sold. She eventually left without buying anything. I commented to the manager how attractive she was and he told me he was sure she was a fox...he was deadly serious. He said the shape of her face and red hair tipped him off and he was certain she was up to no good. Yep...for realz.
Yes the spirit world and human realm do merge at times in locations I'd refer at hotspots of spiritial activity caused by rifts throughout space time, when the spirits first arrived to creat the planet sometime later most of the rifts closed leaving few of them left the few left on this planet are located in japan eastern us near Maine and Massachusetts as well as New York state, the british isles, Australia, indochina and india
These locations are where spirits are located, and they live amongst humans who are non the wiser, I can prove that because when I grew up something in me activated and I gained a kind of omniscience as well as the ability to speak with animals and spirits through telepathy detect illusions and bypass them feel emotional auras as well as the fact since I was 7 years old I was completely convinced I wasn't human it just took about 13 years for my abilities to activate. Also I think I'm a wolf shapeshifter from the north Africa region in the term of this dimension however in my past life I grew up in a parallel dimension called havensky (heaven maybe)? where the spirits left to create the planet
My dad grew up in the mountains of North Carolina. He saw fox fire 1x in his 93 years. He said it was so strange how the glowing orbs just float around. He and his friend were within 5ft of each other. It floated up to each of their faces, stayed still for 1/2 minute or so and then it floated on its way. The common idea is that it's methane bubbles from organic decay. It's very rare to see.
I've seen the fox fire as well when I was young over the tree line where my old house was, she also knocked on my front door of the old house (I could see her snout through the house door window) and I gave her the approval to come in by tilting my head to the couch where I sleep, I also saw creatures with red eyes staring at me from the trees in the middle of the night when I was outside doing chores for the family it seems that I am probably not human considering all of the spirits I've seen all my life
@@MlgNoScope-pt7fy since I was a kid I could see these things like in the yokai watch lore i can't see as much anymore but i have the ability to sense them even without eyesight as just being able to see and comprehend them gave me the eye of horus so i can just close my eyes and temporarily see the spirit dimension to detect them without seeing them with standard 3rd dimensional vision eye of horus is a power granted to people who can see spirits in their life and comprehend them, these people also get telepathy of sorts as well as the ability to bring friends from your potential past lives into soul containers so they can talk to you I had a past life as a fenrir a type of god wolf yokai so I was able to bring some spirit friends back. I once saw a supernatural fox. So one day my partner and I planned a week long camping trip and selected a forest at the midway point on the way and when we got there we immediately decided to change our plans and stay there. We set up camp and I did a personal ritual I often do which is rooted in native American spiritualism. Basically, I make a simple offering to the spirits of the forest asking for protection in return. It can be anything as long as its something the forest can use. This time it was a chickpea salad sandwich and water (there was a heavy drought here so the wildlife benefit from the food and water) I then went down the trail to fill our water bladders up and as I got close I saw a fox with fluffy orange fur that literally glowed like it was on fire. Like the orange of a sunset as if shining through the fur. It walked behind a tree and on the other side I instead saw a white cat walk by. It continued past some other trees and disappeared. That night in our tents I slept soundly, but my partner said she woke up to the sight of balls of light outside the tent. When I woke up there were bugs that got in the tent walking over us, which I later learned were ticks, but not a single one bit us. We were protected. We then moved to another part of the forest some 90 miles away and I neglected to do the blessing because I thought it was the same forest, but I guess the spirits were different because the following night we were bitten by ticks, but it was fine because there was a deep creek that we swam in and the fish actually nibbled the bugs off us. In any case, I strongly believe that on that first night I saw a fox spirit and my partner saw fox fire and my offerings were accepted and we were blessed with protection while we were in their territory.
Really loving these videos. This one is like Zeus's shifty sexcapades. The similar stories through then world's cultures is wonderful, Carl Jung was certainly onto something.
I have an OC who is a kitsune, this is useful. I did make the mistake of making a distinction between kitsune and regular foxes... well research is always good!!!
Now I know that my husband's brother and sister in law might be foxes or at least one of them lol. My MIL said it was good luck when it rained and the sun was out on their wedding. Extremely sus now 😂
You missed an important fact. It is/was believed in Japanese folklore that the fox's wisdom, and also their powers, grew stronger as the fox aged. The older the fox, the more intelligent they were and the better they were at using their powers. :)
I love your content. I’ve been watching for ages and honestly rewatch videos a few times because i love the subjects you choose. I hope you’re doing well, keep your head up. Your dedication is noticed.
My mom once had a wild fox approach her when she was sitting on the porch smoking. It just stared at her before darting off. Dad and i joked that she might have seen a kitsune.
So the sexy lady puppeteers are kugutsu, right, and in Naruto Kankuro uses kugutsu no jutsu and you know his hood has those two pointy ears? Head canon is that Kankuro is a kitsune kugutsu who's bad at hiding his fox features.
I always like your content since i really love japan and its culture! Your videos help me learn more about japan and its history and i dont know how to thank you for it. But i shall wish that you (and other people) have a nice day/night! :D
Hi Linfamy, I just had an idea (inspired by this video) but it is about your Sunday story time. You know when you do intermissions and play a song? What about for your wallpaper, instead of that boring background, you put up drawings you've done of the characters? 🤩 I would love to see your interpretation of some of the characters, their clothes, their weapons, and of course the fights! Just a thought what do you think?... And it doesn't have to be something different every time, I new picture every month or two would work since you are so busy.
one note, there's good foxes too (like kiko or tenko). most of what is talked about here are lower rank foxes, but after enough hundreds of years a kitsune if still alive will become temporal and good natured.
Inuyasha: Hm. Feisty little thing, aren't you? Nice tail. Looks like a badger or a squirrel. Shippō: I'M A FOX, HEATHEN! Kagome: A fox? It talks? Cool. Let me touch it when you're done.
Fun Fact: Based on the play "Ashia-dōman-ōuchi-kagami" [蘆屋道満大内鑑] (1734) Kuzu-no-ha [葛の葉] or Shinodazuma [信太妻], the mother of great Onmyō Master Abe-no-Seimei [安倍 晴明], is also a white fox.
I once met a weird woman and she didn't smell quite like a human. Her smell reminded me of moist fur, raw meat being smoked, oranges, old blood, and smoke. It totally creeped me out. I could tell where she was without seeing nor hearing her. I would know when she was around a corner, or behind a door and if she got closer than 2m, it was so bad that I started to sneeze uncontrollably (it was the smoke-like component that irritated my nose). The exact composition of the smell kept changing, but I was very good at identifying her regardless and there were times where it got so bad that I could tell when she passed by after 1min in which direction she had went. I never experienced anything the like and actually tried to track her and was successful. This is not something I should be able to do as a human on a human. Yet, I even managed to find her in a Christmas market despite the strong smell of spiced wine, spiced food, and the sickening smell of Swiss fondue... Yes, I seriously was able to find my colleagues among thousands of visitors, because one of them smelled that weird and strong! There's one little detail I have left out thus far and to my shame, I was too dense to immediately recognize it for what it was, there was a pattern in the intensity and change of her scent. It repeated roughly every month... PS: it's a true story, but she probably was no Kitsune, but someone with a disease changing her smell and I probably got hyperosmia...
I have a kitsune and her name is Yuki ^_^. Hmm when I think about it, I sort of did what is known as "The Izuna Rite" Basically a ritual to acquire a fox familiar. It is one way that a person becomes a Kitsune-Mochi. Unlike past Kitsune-Mochi, I would rather give affection to my baby girl than unleash her on someone whom I am angry at hehe.
Triangular jawline , these days people are getting surgery for triangular jawline... was this a fox’s idea so you can’t find them in the crowd..hmmm 😉☺️

08:25 IMO there’s an unexpectedly high number of sayings about raining while the sun shines, connecting it to weddings and/or spouses. Like, of all the unique events, more than a few decided to use the same subject matter.
Look, these days Kitsune are perfectly happy to find themselves simps via being online influencers then arrange IRL meetups to give their simps the joy of literally touching fluffy tail.
8:15 - lol, I'm Zimbabwean, and one of my favorite childhood memories is being out driving with my aunt, and it was raining with the sun still shining. She said it meant elephants were having a wedding. Humanity is an interesting bundle of all sorts of stuffs.
As someone married to a kitsune, She can't do much of what you said, she, however displaces 40 thousand tons of water, she has 10 casemated 200mm(7.87") guns, 90 planes, a 150mm armor belt, and have committed (adoptive) Sororicide.
Wait, please explain this: (in japan): In daytime when it's raining but still the sun shines it's said that foxes are getting married... In my home-town in Italy they say EXACTLY the same thing. I've always though this was a common belief in southern Italy, but I've been living and travelling through other places in southern and central Italy and never found anyone talking about this. I know there can't be any link, but this is really weird and funny. Love your video, btw! Keep on the good work!
Not sure if its the same in other parts of Brazil but one time my grandma said that when it rains and the sun is out is because there was a marriage going on
"When it's raining and the sun is out, they say a fox wedding is nearby." Interesting, as the same is told for "Tikbalang Weddings" in Filipino Folklore.

@@somenothing7914 It was only a fun little theory of what if these 2 mythical beasts from 2 different cultures were to meet (which would be interesting since these 2 hardly ever meet on screen).
This time it was a chickpea salad sandwich and water (there was a heavy drought here so the wildlife benefit from the food and water)
I then went down the trail to fill our water bladders up and as I got close I saw a fox with fluffy orange fur that literally glowed like it was on fire.
Interesting
Really loving these videos. This one is like Zeus's shifty sexcapades. The similar stories through then world's cultures is wonderful, Carl Jung was certainly onto something.

I have an OC who is a kitsune, this is useful. I did make the mistake of making a distinction between kitsune and regular foxes... well research is always good!!!
Glad you found it helpful!
Now I know that my husband's brother and sister in law might be foxes or at least one of them lol. My MIL said it was good luck when it rained and the sun was out on their wedding. Extremely sus now 😂
Way too sus
I understand what they mean, you do realize that sun showers are relatively rare events. They also are quite charming. They always make me happy.
I just realized the Pokemon Zoroark was probably based on a kitsune (I know Ninetales is too), since it was similar powers
The design of it's Hisuian form from PLA is also a reference to traditional kitsune masks.
Looks like a badger. Ninetails tho yessss
You missed an important fact. It is/was believed in Japanese folklore that the fox's wisdom, and also their powers, grew stronger as the fox aged. The older the fox, the more intelligent they were and the better they were at using their powers. :)
That’s just a myth, they need a human body especially by those who Carrie unique things in their bodies (lockup supernova abilities)

So the sexy lady puppeteers are kugutsu, right, and in Naruto Kankuro uses kugutsu no jutsu and you know his hood has those two pointy ears? Head canon is that Kankuro is a kitsune kugutsu who's bad at hiding his fox features.

Hi Linfamy, I just had an idea (inspired by this video) but it is about your Sunday story time. You know when you do intermissions and play a song? What about for your wallpaper, instead of that boring background, you put up drawings you've done of the characters? 🤩
I would love to see your interpretation of some of the characters, their clothes, their weapons, and of course the fights! Just a thought what do you think?... And it doesn't have to be something different every time, I new picture every month or two would work since you are so busy.
I'll think about it :p
Linfamy: Kitsune are super Lewd....
Degenerate: It's free real estate. 😁
one note, there's good foxes too (like kiko or tenko). most of what is talked about here are lower rank foxes, but after enough hundreds of years a kitsune if still alive will become temporal and good natured.
Gotta say, I especially love all the shade being thrown (to everyone mentioned) during the storytelling.
Your videos are always fun to watch. They're fun and informative.
Thank you ;)
Inuyasha: Hm. Feisty little thing, aren't you? Nice tail. Looks like a badger or a squirrel.

Fun Fact: Based on the play "Ashia-dōman-ōuchi-kagami" [蘆屋道満大内鑑] (1734) Kuzu-no-ha [葛の葉] or Shinodazuma [信太妻], the mother of great Onmyō Master Abe-no-Seimei [安倍 晴明], is also a white fox.
Did I hear ASIAN WONEN DONT HAVE BREASTS FOR PROTECTION.....LMAO😂😂😂😂😂
I think *you're* the kitsune 🤔

In my home-town in Italy they say EXACTLY the same thing.
