Big fan, sadly mine loosened after a ton of uses. I picked up some lock tight to fix the loosened bolts so hopefully that will help. I have also found that the flat head bends slightly when really torquing those baseplate screws on, so I may need to upgrade for something even more beefy. Just a heads up. Red makes one (red tool) and so does DJI
We Are Film I’m going to try to repair it, if not might be time for an upgrade. Also be careful one side of hex is metric and the other is imperial, they are common sizes for the small rig gear and lines up with other gear but it al depends. But just be careful not to force a metric in an imperial size. Plates and rigs tend to be imperial, tripod parts tend to be metric. The sizing threads on the side are just that, to check thread count and sizing, store screws and also save on weight :).
Hi Mr. @@CameronGallagher. After all these years, how's it keeping up? Has the rotating swivel loosened so much that it's unusable now? OR can you just retighten the allen screw to make it functional again? Thank you.
@@nathanielngosy Its so funny you ask, I was JUST looking at the new Film Riot collaboration version! Mine never loosened, but I did lose it on a shoot a year or so later. I did end up with a RED tool, but the metal broke, so this new Film Riot collaboration version intrigues me!
@@CameronGallagher I see. So unfortunate for you to have lost it. Since the Red tool broke as well over time, it appears every folding multi-tool like this would eventually break especially if used a bit aggresively. So, it ought to be minimized in use say only on photo gears like tripods, plates, cages, etc. as much as possible. Didn't buy the Smallrig 2213 since there are a lot of comments that it does tend to break and the rotating swivel loosening even if there's an Allen screw to re-tighten. Bought the Ulanzi 9-in-1 Folding tool CM-029 instead. ruclips.net/video/cFYHfca8ijI/видео.htmlsi=H6DYoowbQnuirtWZ
amazing video bro! thanks for your review!

Oh no! That’s a shame! I’m hoping mine holds up, but yes I do want to check the RED one out!
