It depends on what you like: if you're going for value, "mystery" boxes such as this are rarely worth it. Yet, if you enjoy the randomness and thrill of discovery, then these are for you!
They were worth it
Definitely would NOT EVER purchase any of these mystery boxes you find at Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens, etc.. Leon even added the value of the unopened packs on top of what was pulled from the packs and still didn't hit the break-even cost. All of these mystery boxes are scams.
Well it's mostly targeted towards parents. Your getting a relatively good amount of stuff that kids might consider nice for not nearly as much as actual good product.

I’ve always thought the ultimate collection boxes were worth it, although I’ve never found one in the wild, it’s been nice watching them get opened on the channel!

Hey I think it’s worth it 🤷🏼♂️ it’s not terrible for 20 especially since they randomly insert those metal cards! Don’t think I’d personally risk it, but I Hope they bring you the luck my dude 👍🏻
I like the concept of the mystery boxes even though most times you wont get your money back. These may not have reached the mark as well but they seem to be way better made and more worth it compared to other mystery boxes I have seen!
I also like boxes like these.. its always a fun time when opening them
Commercial mystery boxes have gone way downhill in the last couple years, but honestly, these seem like the best option for the add-ins if you're looking to buy them for whatever reason.

Thanks for showing us these boxes, Leonhart! I’m personally not a fan of retail store mystery boxes (especially when cards aren’t protected) mostly because they never really have what I need for my collection. Rare Candy mystery boxes on the other hand bring the heat and have what collectors crave! 🔥
It is fun to open "random" boxes like these to hope that you get something old or expensive, I really do not think that they are worth the money. Great video to show everyone what comes inside, much appreciated.

I think it could be worth it. I like surprises and for $20 a box it's not a bad deal. It would definitely be worth it as a gift for someone. If I ever come across one I'll get it

I think this boxes are good for people who are new to Pokémon TCG and just like the fun of opening new packs. I have open 2 myself and I have had fun with the mystery.

Last Thanksgiving I had to go out to pick up a jar of gravy and ending stopping at a Walgreens. At Walgreens I grabbed a ultimate collection 8 and inside was a vivid voltage pack which had a rainbow chunk-a-chu! I was sooo friggin happy!!

Oh man! Scyther is probably one of my favorite Pokémon of all time! That’s amazing! And I think the boxes are always worth a shot. I wouldn’t spend hundreds on them, lol but a box or two is always fun!
I found these mystery boxes at my local Target a few weeks back and picked one up. Nothing too great in the one I got but did get a Lost Origins pack instead of a Chilling Reign.
Not really worth it but still fun to open.
Its about the fun tied to opening mystery products... so worth it IMO

i feel the boxes are not worht it for money back unless you are lucky, but do offer a fun expeirence to open as they often contain thingsyou wouldn't normally buy. I think that Scyther looks epic as well :)

Always avoid mystery boxes, but felt optimistic going with the rare candy v1.5 and still got let down lol so will probably keep away from all of them going forward

They’re a gamble just like most packs you buy nowadays. I’ve been enjoying going to local cars stores more and buying singles now
The box seems fun but it’s a tad expensive. But getting more Celebrations packs is always exciting!
Also the best pie is most definitely, definitely key lime but if we are going classic holiday, I gotta say pumpkin with the mountain of whipped cream.
I have never seen those boxes pan out well so idk if it's worth it from a money standpoint. However if you value things like jumbo cards or those packs specifically then maybe!

Scyther was always one of my favorite 1st gen pokemon! Just wish they made him a little stronger in the original red version game. Anyway, I think the boxes are worth it for the mystery aspect, but for quality of cards and packs probably not so much.
Definitely worth it!! I don’t believe you added the value of the last set of sleeves so I believe that would’ve put you over $80, but barely

I heard to many horror stories about those boxes to risk it. I love the birds together in one card. I wasn't collecting when those came out kinda sad i wasn't because those cards look so nice.

Those boxes need some updating. I hate they give you the same packs with pretty much the same jumbos except the Venusaur. Still had fun watching the opening of the Hidden Fates ETB! 🔥

This is a nice video, while I don't really think those mystery boxes are worth it, as I just feel like it could of been better, but it is nice seeing you get these so we can see what is in them.

Saw someone online said they got a metal celebration card so at least the packaging wasn't a lie compare to other products.

Hidden Fates is such an amazing set. And those boxes weren’t as bad as I thought at the beginning.
