Well made, Pavel! Sad that Godot now got almost all the love... PS: Can't wait to play your game 'Witchcrafter' (on 4:26). But is it true what Steam says: Not for macOS?
I plan to release it on all available platforms, but right now I don't have any Apple device to test it, hence I am not putting it there. I hope when I will be ready to release I will figure this out anyway 😁
Pawel^ thanx for this video. It's very interesting to know about history of 💌#Defold #Engine. >>>> #game_development #games #programming | in backpack: #godot #unity
First probably will be a comparison with Game Maker, because I'm spending time to check it out right now, but then GDevelop 😉 From what I already know - GDevelop is only perfect for learning gamedev, making your first game or so, because with little knowledge you can have quickly effects. I wouldn't expect more from a nocode tool, but let it surprise me! 😉
Gdev is good for those who are more visual and never experienced code. It's easier and faster to throw things together and learn game dev but comparing it to defold is like comparing vinalla to any other flav of ice cream. Defold has alot going for it that gdev does not but there are some interesting similarities still. But anyway I'm not the one who makes the vids here hahaha my apologies
I am working full time, walking dog, coding game, learning languages and magic tricks and making those tutorials, with small kids and family 😁 No excuses! It's hard to organize time, so always choose to do what you love! ❤️
I have plenty of time, no kids, no family, and no dog… I have lots of ideas down on paper, but a brain full of fog and zero energy. I end up spending more time watching other people do game dev on RUclips than doing game dev myself. I am so very tired. Thanks for making such videos to at least keep me interested though!
@@owdoogames To combat brain fog and zero energy you can try low carb for at least 2 month. Your body will need time to go into ketosis. Anyways I have no idea how Pawel can do all these things with family, wife and kids. But I appreciate every video of him. Well done.
I'm looking into Defold as an alternative to Godot.
For futureproofing, I'd switch from Godot to Defold. I almost lost an entire month's work on my project in Godot due to some stupid dependency error.
VEERRYYY well made! It's finally time for me to switch from Unity, and it will be Defold!
Thanks I trying defold now and find your videos.
INSPIRES 😊
