Hello Bubble Beet, my son has hooked me onto your super awesome channel! We have started a number of small gardens around our home including three 5'x 10' raised beds. We really enjoy your informational videos. Nice work, sir. Keep them coming.
I'm so glad I found your site. I have had a hard time with my patio garden. With your information I think I will have success. Just in time for 2021 season!
my wife and i love your videos and adore your cat. also the charming sound effects and seeing the different animals that visit your garden. we love that you don't harm the critters that can't help but admire your garden's bounty. i don't eat healthy enough, but watching your videos makes me want to eat a raw pepper and pop a small tomato into my mouth. thank you and best wishes.
Jeez I'm always so impressed with your garden. I'm so proud of you and how beautiful your garden is this year. Still a very big fan of this channel and your awesome sound effects! It gives the video more pizazz 😝
Ok I just love your cat! The cat is a BIG part of your garden show. I watched your video because the cat . thank you for letting he or she be apart of your show. What's kitty name ?
Thank you so much for the content, it’s obvious you put as much work into your videos as your garden. I don’t usually comment but I wanted to say I love your videos and really appreciate the tips and tricks as well as seeing the progress on your garden!
Your garden is beautiful! You are truly blessed! I love that you use the two types of fish fertilizer. I just started using the Morebloom and I love it! The sound effects are great!😁😁😁
Really love your videos. Do you eat plantbased/raw? If yes that is really great and very healthy. I was wondering if you considered growing leafy greens like lettuce, collards, mustard greens and kale during winter time to provide you with fresh produce year round - maybe in your green house? Thanks for the video
3 years ago I bought that Alaska 5-1-1 for $4 dollars a gallon at my Walmart in there clearance and $1.50 for the quarts. I took all they had. went to another Walmart ( in February that year) and bought Brown Jersey garden gloves for 10 cents each and those white Gloves with Black rubber dots 3 for a Dollar. Took all of them too. I've never seen sale's anymore at Walmart like that probably because they store every thing in those shipping containers around back now.
I enjoy your videos and I have learned so much. I currently have an herb balcony garden with some grow bags. I have plans for a garden when I move in a year so I cannot wait to grow! Thanks
I love watching your video, you give inspiration to people to have their own vegetable garden. Your videos are simple and easy to follow. I’m just jealous with your weather. I live in upstate NY, and it’s not until late May that we have warm weather. Good job and congratulations!
I started watching your videos back when I still had a garden, several years ago. At present I live on the road, but I still watch all of your videos because this right here is some quality content. One day I hope to have a garden as magnificent as yours. A thought occurred to me while I watched this video though... It must be nearly Squeak's birthday, is it not?
I am so jealous of all that lovely lettuce i’ve just started gardening and I’ve been growing some lettuce then I transplanted it and it didn’t really doesn’t really grow in anything for the lattice what I did over seeded is growing like crazy but anyhow thank you for the great videos keep up the good work especially for us novices
Hi BubbleBeet! I love your garden videos! My husband & I just moved to a new place with a lovely covered north facing balcony so for humans it’s great, veggies...not so much. So I just planted a bunch of different herbs, some lettuce, kale, and carrots into containers, They all are looking good so far but I’m worried to try much else due to the minimal light. Any suggestions? BTW try cutting your radishes with a mandolin, those things are awesome. Paper thin slices in seconds!
i remember i was browsing vegetable seeds and had just looked at a bunch of Beet varieties. shortly after is when i created the youtube channel. i didnt give it much thought it just kinda happened that way. thanks :)
In the video you mixed both fish emulsion and the morbloom together in the bucket?? I was expecting you needed to mix separately. It's a great idea. Thanks.
Hi! I'm always happy to see when you post a new video. Your garden is GOALS. Anyway, what will you do with the lettuce after it bolts? Do you compost? Also, that tomato trellis in the hex bed is awesome. Maybe I'll try something like that for my indeterminate cherry tomatoes.
Great as usual, it has rained here basically every day in June so far with temps in the low 60's so your garden looks doubly impressive to me at the moment, I don't envy the heat and humidity that you will get later in the summer though.
Hi, can you please tell me where you bought these buckets that you have planted tomatoes in front of your garage ?????? And I have other question what is magic of your soils What did you put inside and how to grow big sweetpeeper my sweet pepper grow small and is very slow
I had a VERY small container “garden” but then all randomly a storm came by and picked up our porch swing and through it right in the middle if my proudest accomplishment my peas 😔lol
What do you put into the bottom of your soup bowl prior to pouring your kale/pea/radish soup? I've seen it in a couple of your other vids- always wondered. Thank you and love all of your content.
You are a great teacher. Do you fertilize your sugar snap peas? Do you really use a scissors to pick your peas? Does the BT Garden Safe spray kill slugs and earwigs? Since I mulch my raised beds I seem to be having a slug and earwig problem. I used slug bait but the chipmunks seem to be eating it daily. :0( Thank you for your guidance and inspiration.
I’m a beginner gardener, so I don’t know if you or someone in the comment section can help. When do you start fertilizing and how often? I am in Texas :)
From spring to autumn. It can start from March all the way to September. October as well if you live in a warm climate. Fertilize every 10 days or every 14 days. Depend on your garden. That's how I fertilized mine.
hi, now that its getting hot i like to harvest early in the morning while its shady and the temps are cooler. cant really give advice on the peas, just keep trying and youll get better.
Can the bug spray be sprayed on tomato plants? I have caterpillars starting to get at some of my tomato plants. Not sure why ive never had that problem so im not entirely sure what to spray lol
How is it that your lettuce has not bolted? I’m in NC too - Granville Co - any magic tricks? I am envious that you appear to have a lot of sun and good lettuce in early June! Yeah for you!
hi, a few are stretching and have the first signs of bolt. My lettuce will be finished in about two weeks. ive had good luck with RedSail lettuce and Black Seeded Simpson lettuce varieties. thanks :)
Hello! thank you for such a great video and cute funny sounds when you show the veggie :)) and I am wondering, how do they live through the winter? and the ground cherry, they are very sensitive with the cold..
This video is amazing! Have you ever encountered yellowing of leaves? How would you treat that? I was inspired by your channel to start a vegetable garden myself and have encountered this problem
hi, some yellowing leaves at the bottom of plants are normal as the plant grows and ages. but sometimes it can be a nitrogen deficiency if it happens in a big way. Fertilize with the 5-1-1 Fish Emulsion fertilizer to make sure the plants are getting some good quality nitrogen. thanks
