the missile knows where it is at all times, it knows this because it knows where it isn't. by subtracting where it is from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater) it obtains a difference, or deviation. the guidance sub system uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the missile from a position where it is, to a position where it isn't, arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is. consequently, the position where it is, is now the position where it wasn't, and it follows that the position that it was, is now the position that it isn't. in the event that the position that it is, is not the position that it wasn't, the system has acquired a variation, the variation being the difference between where the missile is, and where it wasn't. if variation is considered to be a significant factor, it to may be corrected by the GEA, however, the missile must also know where it was. the missile guidance computer scenario works as follows. because a variation has modified some of the information the missile has obtained, it is not sure just where it is. however, it is sure where it isn't (within reason), and it knows where it was. it now subtracts where it should be, from where it wasn't, or vise versa. and by differentiating this from the algebraic sub of where it shouldn't be, and where it was. it is able to obtain the deviation, and its variation. which is called "error".
To my knowledge, two very unique special and utmost original projects happened in the modern US army.. The F-22 and the RAH-66 which was later cancelled.. Both of these projects were so original, almost completely made from a scratch that it was really ahead of its time.. My man, detectable from 100 miles??? This thing has the radar signature of a marble at those angles, there's no way they would pick it up that far away
What do you expect? That the aircrafts stealth-capacities makes them completely invisible on radar? This 25 year old plane is no match against modern radar technology...
@@LIVE4CBR Uh, it is most certainly a match. An RCS of ~.0001m^2 from most frontal angles is extraordinarily difficult just to detect without a massive radar installation. The S-400's primary search and track radar (92N6E), for example, has a detection range of ~250km against 4m^2 targets. If we assume an RCS of ~.0001m^2 (-40dBsm), it would only be able to detect an F-22 at roughly 17.7km away. Even if we bring the RCS up to .1m^2, that's still only a ~99km detection range. And this doesn't even account for jamming, which the F-22 can do very well since the APG-77v1 is one of the best AESAs in the world, along with stuff like the APG-81 and Captor-E. Any radar array powerful enough to detect an F-22 from any meaningful distance is likely stationary, and would be overwhelmed by standoff munitions before F-22s even come into play.
1. 1:56 if the F-15 Eagle was expecting an attack from the east, turning onto the AWACS six o' clock would give the F-15 time to launch 8 amraams, then the J-15s could either dive or be shot down due to how good the amraams are at mid to high altitude. 2. 2:44 I dont think you could evade an amraam just by turning 90 degrees, they are still at high altitude and the Amraams are far enough away that they would have to predict, but not follow the turn, a more likely manuever might be to go dive downwards to the deck to evade the missles 3. 2:57 the Amraam does not have a range in excess of 50 kilometers I think im going to stop pointing out errors because im lazy but this video has a lot of errors, same could be said for most videos related to the air force or aircraft. the infographics show, despite its name its not a valid source for information about aircraft, sorry for the lack of grammar im just lazy.
Not really. The video was to show the superiority of F22, and that was shown. However there was also a story to show their capabilities and explain why they are superior, which would include other military weapons.
The only thing I question is the F-22 squadron not using the f15s air to air missiles. The F-15's missles could and would be launched and directed by the F-22's via the integrated battlespace controlled at a tactical level by the F-22's obscenely powerful supercomputer.
This plane should be produced in bulk over the f35s like keep some f35s due to the fact they help ground troops and air support planes to minimize friendly kills but I’d still rather have the f22s over fighter wise
I like the touch of adding a wheel lug nuts wrench to the aircraft mechanic. For your information, we don't use this type of wrench in aircraft maintenance. I laughed when I saw it
@Evan Tchernine you couldn't be anymore wrong if you are talking about one s400 location with short range aa protection the short range aa might not be best for protecting s400 system if you consider new agm88 variant being tested has range of 230km and even the old can hit targets from 150km, short range aa defense better against tomahawk missile if this was used against s400 system it could be detected and defended against, however high altitude firing of agm88 can easily destroy a location of s400.
@Evan Tchernine you say there are lot of things but dont name an single "counter" i am starting to believe you are clueless when it comes to discussing air defense. while the s400 is one of my favorite systems you have to realize the threat an anti radiation missile at high altitude pose to this system. the only counter i can think of that you might be meaning is having multiple systems but even then package of multiple aircraft with anti radiation missile still pose risk to s400 or have them move around because known location will be targeted as a priority.
@Evan Tchernine you and i both know this so i do not see why you make this statement. i did not ask you anything about f35 and f22 i asked you how can s400 counter agm88 and other anti radiation missiles. s400 is only going to see f22 or f35 distance under 150km, aesa radar on the f35 apg81 can find a radar at 320km. before aircraft even arrive at this location the s400 can be targeted with high altitude firing of agm88 missile or like they have spoken in this video glide bomb gbu53. my country bought s400 and it is something i think is amazing equipment in modern war fighting but there is a counter for everything like you are trying to say even for this system but you have not explained.
@Evan Tchernine the issue is that every S400 battery will be saturated with HARM missiles, glide bombs, decoy drones, cruise missiles, EW aircraft jamming the radars, etc and at one point the defenses will be overwhelmed and start letting missiles and bombs through.

”Why the F-22 is the best fighter jet”
F-35: hold my fuel
The F-22 is a better fighter
The F-35 is much cheaper, yes, but the F-22 all around in terms of combat and tech is still leaps and bounds ahead of the F-35. The F-22 has been stated by multiple sources to be the most advanced fighter jet in the world and the best air superiority fighter. The F-35 is a phenomenal multi role fighter, don’t get me wrong. But in terms of air combat capability it’s still an infant compared to the Raptor
The A10 will always be my baby. Brrrrrrtttttt.
a10 is like the shrek of airplanes.
@@chrischeng3586 hahahahah, accurate!
The limitations of F-22 is the few jets and high cost
They are sitting ducks due to high maintenance cost and are now suffering from low flight hours to reduce the fly away cost. Raptor pilots suffer too.
@@deltacharlieromeo8252 how did you even get to this conclusion?
@@genkabigfellow8552 Pentagon said it themselves in their reports. Online news also saying it. We can read the truth with multiple resources. Just don't be selective with what you believe.

How does high maintnance cost make the raptor a sitting duck?
@@genkabigfellow8552 I don't know. It takes many 15 max to get all the f-22 to line up and ready to take off.
They only keep the F-22 in American and high-value airspace ( I know Alaska, Wastion DC). Maybe New York???, And Super Bowls ???
Just remember everyone:
The F-22 has tons of classified abilities that the public is totally unaware of.
So it’s most likely the Chinese fighters wouldn’t down any of them even if they sent a dozen J-20s against a flight of F-22s.
Infographics is doing a scenario based on the basic and public information and abilities of the plane and it’s obvious why but it needs to still be remembered the F-22 can do a ton of cool stuff that’s classified.
But you somehow assume the J-20's stats are less classified ? Dubious logic at best . It doesn't even look similar to the Raptor. Americans are always very biased when judging another country's fighting abilities. Just an opinion, no hard feelings.
@@СтелианДимов-д8ч it is like that. They think their stuff is the superior without even considering that we know tons of information about the F22, but we know nothing of what the J20 or Su57 is capable of. And that matches in every aspect of their military. American propaganda at its finest.

@@jootpepet no the j20 was using stealth from a f117 which is less effective the mobility of the j20 hasn’t been shown to be effective 10 crashed but that could’ve been because the pilots were getting used to it the f22 pilots had the same troubles but got used to it

the missile knows where it is at all times, it knows this because it knows where it isn't. by subtracting where it is from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater) it obtains a difference, or deviation. the guidance sub system uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the missile from a position where it is, to a position where it isn't, arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is. consequently, the position where it is, is now the position where it wasn't, and it follows that the position that it was, is now the position that it isn't. in the event that the position that it is, is not the position that it wasn't, the system has acquired a variation, the variation being the difference between where the missile is, and where it wasn't. if variation is considered to be a significant factor, it to may be corrected by the GEA, however, the missile must also know where it was. the missile guidance computer scenario works as follows. because a variation has modified some of the information the missile has obtained, it is not sure just where it is. however, it is sure where it isn't (within reason), and it knows where it was. it now subtracts where it should be, from where it wasn't, or vise versa. and by differentiating this from the algebraic sub of where it shouldn't be, and where it was. it is able to obtain the deviation, and its variation. which is called "error".
And your missiles

2. 2:44
I dont think you could evade an amraam just by turning 90 degrees, they are still at high altitude and the Amraams are far enough away that they would have to predict, but not follow the turn, a more likely manuever might be to go dive downwards to the deck to evade the missles
3. 2:57 the Amraam does not have a range in excess of 50 kilometers I think

The only thing I question is the F-22 squadron not using the f15s air to air missiles. The F-15's missles could and would be launched and directed by the F-22's via the integrated battlespace controlled at a tactical level by the F-22's obscenely powerful supercomputer.
The F-22 may not be THAT customizable. Besides, those kinds of missiles are ONLY used when air superiority is achieved.
AWACS are not the name of that plane. It’s a E2d airborne command and control early airborne warning
"Would you intercept me? I'd intercept me"

Plot Twist: S-400 down at some where near islands, watching them and laughing
@Evan Tchernine talkin bout the same S400 iran had that isreals F 35 was making there morning commutes to work pass for a whole week🤣🤣🤣 oh no!!
@Evan Tchernine the issue is that every S400 battery will be saturated with HARM missiles, glide bombs, decoy drones, cruise missiles, EW aircraft jamming the radars, etc and at one point the defenses will be overwhelmed and start letting missiles and bombs through.
