Exceptional, beautiful and technically unmatched. No one has been as beautiful as this pairing. I am so thankful to have danced during their era.

+Kleber Franca Hello Franca, The piece is a gospel song called 'Everybody's Gonna Have A Wonderful Time Up There'. Recorded by many different artists, the live cover version on this clip is done in Elvis Presley style. Hope this helps. Great piece of music for a great jive. Enjoy

Today's latin dancers are mere athletic trash compared to the technique and artistry of Donnie and Gaynor. There will never be another Donnie and Gaynor.

They might have been good in their day but they're not a patch on today's professionals and his facials are awful. Craig Revel Halwood would wipe the floor with his comments about them.

"They might have been good in their day"...excuse me, 'might'? That sounds like a pretty uninformed, even denigrating and respect-less remark. From Wikipedia: "He [Donnie Burns] and his former partner Gaynor Fairweather were 14-time World Professional Latin champions: this is by some way the record for this title. They were also eleven times International Latin American Dance Champions, and this is also a record. On their competitive retirement both were honoured by appointment as MBE. Donnie was undefeated in any competitive dance contest for nearly 20 years of continuous competition, a record in any major category of ballroom dance; this is now in the Guinness Book of Records. During this period he won major titles in countries throughout the world."
How many (professional) latin dancers can you name that have accomplished this? What you said would be similar to saying something like: "Bob Beamon might have been a good sprinter in his day, but wouldn't stand a chance against the likes of Carl Lewis or Usain Bolt and his runningshoes looked awfull."

No one will ever hold a candle to them. Today's latin dancers are merely vulgar athletes by any comparison.
