Driving UNCUT - Romanian Beauty - Salaj Region - North West

- Heading back to #Bucuresti (Bucharest) from the far northern border region of Siret and then via #Maramures County. This is a section through Balbeni in the Salaj Region as we headed back home to Bucuresti. It lies to the North West.
Just driving and talking and getting back to what I started doing, showcasing the beauty of my home sweet home in Romania and other parts of Europe as I drive and travel. I was accompanied by a mate from Denmark who lives in Georgia and we had planned to go to Ukraine to help with some aid, but the fuel crisis makes driving there a little problematic, so in a few weeks we may meet up again in Poland and go by train. Glad I could show him around and show him a bit of why I call Romania home.
Just a nice not to end the trip, I found out by official letter when I got back that my permanent residence has been approved, so I finally feel this is home even though I made that decision over 5 years ago.

Man, I don't usually comment on clips, just kind of tag along incognito on your trips in Ro and surrounding countries. But i just had to write on this one :)). I noticed that you know particularities of words and phrases in Romanian language, but seeing that you manage to understand your caller on the phone and have a conversation i was like...wow. Very impressive!! Congrats for your videos and work!! Also love the ocasional funny remarks on every spot you visit :))

Thanks for comment and yes I think adjustment needed, I was looking at Babeni in Valcea not Babeni in Salaj and I just checked its near Jibou so yes Salaj County after leaving Baia Mare and heading South past Cluj...😬😁...cheers for the heads up...o zi buna!

Yes my friend, we didn't actually go through it but got about 25kms from it and I did a u-turn and went onto another road toward Cluj. So yes it is right in the middle of Salaj Region.
