Hi lovely Rebecca !! I can definitely see a difference between the two sides . The yellow corrects and the pink brightens for sure . It does remind me of the Givenchy prism powder in number 3 . 🤗💕
YES! Absolutely Givenchy Prism! Agreed!
I don’t think anyone has done it yet, but I would love to see a pink powder face off. Which one is the best?
Oooo, yes! GOOD ONE!
Prisme Libre Rose forever! 🤭💞
😫😢🤧 RIP Prism Libre #3!
I’m not sure I can see the difference with the yellow but I can definitely see how the pink has brightened your skin ❤ Very nice.
Agreed. The yellow is much more subtle
Yes absolutely I see a difference!
💕💕💕
These are just lovely, Rebecca! i haven’t tried anything from Jone’s Road yet but i’m happy to see she introduced a variety of shades, as many of her previous launches did not seem suitable for deeper complexions, which we know she is skilled at creating due to her success with her original brand. Looking for that product from the brand that draws me in to the brand of one of favorite makeup artists. ❤
Tracie, you know, I am the first to admit that I have been very hesitant with this brand. It really took them a while to WoW me or win me over. At first, I didn’t quite understand the concept. I was not attracted to the packaging. I didn’t like the botanical scent to a lot of the products. It has been a slow burn but I am really starting to enjoy them and I’m finally kind of understanding where she is going with it.
You win! It’s definitely brighter and corrected redness. Bobbi Brown has always done amazing color correction.
To be honest, it’s only tonight that I stopped hating on all my Jones Road products after Abby showed the pink powder-which I don’t own yet, but I do have the Prisme Libre in Rose. So I got my box of Jones Road out and tried again. Wow does the powder really make a difference!
After seeing what you just did, I will buy the pink AND the yellow 💛💖 Thank you, Love! xx
Thank you so much. I have taken a while to really come around and enjoy Jones Road but now that I’ve warmed to the brand, I am a huge fan
The powders look amazing 💜
They’re so good!!
Perfect timing! I just had the mailman deliver the Estee Lauder pink setting powder and I was concerned maybe it was for just under the eyes. I powder my entire face daily and I was sooo glad to see you use that pink all over! Diff brand, same concept
I use a pink powder and put it everywhere. I have been using the doll 10 one. Gives more life to face then just a regular translucent one.
@@HurshRoad oh nice! Thank you for your thoughts! I appreciate you
YAY, Renee! TOTALLY same concept.
It's always funny to me whenever most pink powder is marketed as "brightening" bc when you are pale it definitely isn't (I need ghost pink lol) 😅 but I sure am not complaining as we need more pink toned products 😊 I can see it working well for most light-med skin for sure. Some different depths of pink would be awesome one day! And all tones in general. They do look lovely on your skin! ❤
Oh they do have deeper shades, that's great!
OH YES! Honestly, those with the fairest shades of skins have a very hard time FOR SURE. The deeper shade I bet would be a gorgeous soft blush!
Looking forward to getting mine! I ordered the pink
You'll enjoy it. It's really so good.
Rebecca!!! 🎉 I have got to try this brand for sure!! These powders seem divine! I’m still loving my Givenchy Prisme Libre pinky powder. I’ve got to definitely order a few items from this brand! I’m just here catching up on your videos! Hope all is well ❤ you look beautiful as always, and I appreciate you! Have a great day girlie ❤
Amy!!!! You know, it took me a long time to really properly understand Jones Road. At first I wasn’t attracted to the packaging and I was confused about the aesthetic, to be honest. But it’s been a slow burn and it has really grown on me and I’ve come to rely on them. The performance is exactly what you’d expect from the creator herself
Wow. I can definitely see the difference. I think I would benefit from the pink. I’m a sallow, pale person. Thanks for featuring this.❤️
Hello Jan! You are not sallow or pale. You are delicate and fair!
😂😂😂
This was a great video. Yes! Definitely can tell the difference. Love it!
It’s such a useful makeup “tool” to have!
Another amazing video!
😍😍😍
I colour correct with powders all the time. A great long wear way to keep things hidden.
Thank you!!! I think I prefer color correcting powder over liquid. Combines two steps rather than adding!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty It's also MUCH easier to touch up on the go!
@@diabmetry1574 true! True!!!
Looks wonderful on you 👍👍👍 thanks for a great review 💜🌻✌🏻
Thank YOU for being here for it!!
Looks great. I bought many of the products but got translucent powder just to take a bit of shine down.
That makes perfect sense
These are exciting. Thanks for the review.
This brand is really hitting its stride right now
Hi! These powders is a heritage from the Bobbi Brown era, they existed in yellow , pink, rose and sprit I think. Very nice then and as I can see on you also today! apricot
I meant
Yes! It’s nice to see her bringing back tried and true techniques to the New Jones Road. 💕
I am tempted by the yellow tinted face powder as I too have the ‘deep pits of despair!’ 🤣💕
Da Da DAAAA!!!!
🤣💕
I received the Mac Bronzer today that reminds me of the Jones Road one. Excited to use it tomorrow xx
Hello elizabeth! That Mac bronzer is lovely.
I am quite pale and I use a mix of the Mac 'Radiant Light Rosy" bronzer and the Jones Road Dusty Rose bronzer on my forehead and cheeks and it looks super natural and perfect together if you're light skinned like me I would try it!
@@cecile.no1940 What a lovely look!!
I like tinted powders. I haven’t purchased these, but I just got the One|Size in both Honey and Pink. Trying the Honey shade for the first time today. I’ll keep these in the back of my mind though possibly for the future.
The O/S powders are always so good!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty They work for my mature combo skin, especially in summer when I get more oily than normal. Already hot and sooo humid in MO.
@@CareyXO Missouri gets humid! You don’t need me to tell you that. My daughter is going to be at a program in Chicago this summer for about a month. Coming from California, she’s not gonna know what hit her!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty It’s a whole different ballgame. 😂 I’ll be in California for 10 days here in a few weeks and I can’t wait to see the difference in my makeup. That’s when you know you’re a makeup junkie, when you think of things like that.
@@CareyXO haha. First thing that comes to my mind. And hair.
Pink powder defintely gives my face more brightness and doesn’t dull it like a regular translucent one. I use it all over.
Isn't it LOVELY? I've tried them all but never pink. I love it. And thank you for helping with your other comment in the community. People here are SO awesome!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I don’t even need powder because I am normal to dry. But I do like taking a fluffy brush and just dusting it all over. I just feel it finishes my makeup.
@@HurshRoad Totally agreed. Icing on the cake!
wow! i can see the difference. it's pretty cool. i am light...fenty skin tint 2...thanks for this!!
Try the pink for sure!!!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty cool!! will do and thank you!
I have the pink shade. I love it. No more cakey face at the end of the day.
Hello Jane! Agreed. Game changer and it's such a pretty color in the pan, too!
Very interesting. I've often struggled with liquid colour corrector so this seems like it might be easier for me
The thing about liquid color correctors, and I love a few that I love as you know, is it does add another step because the liquid has to be covered by a traditional concealer. I like this because it just kind of combines the powdering most of us do anyway with color correcting.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty yes! It makes it seem a lot easier to add a bit of colour corrector in a rush
@@MsBNoodle Exactly. And touch ups.
@NotFitforPrintBeauty ooh yes I wish I were a person who did touch ups. I made a mistake and wore a very fallouty eyeshadow today so have just done a zoom call with a very glittery face. Festival fashion.
@@MsBNoodle OH I'VE HAD THAT!!! And you kind of have no choice but to go with it. Haha. Did you hold a glow stick and have drum and bass in the background fairly quietly?
I didn’t go for this powder because I don’t powder much and I recently gotten the Givenchy plus other expensive ones that I already have that don’t need 🤦🏼♀️
I'm not a huge powder person either, Rosa!
After you applied the pink to the first side, it looks to have lifted your foundation & left your cheek patchy and red, don't you think?
Oh. I know what you’re seeing. That was excess pink powder on the cheek and it kind of flushed away and was fine after. Did not lift the foundation thankfully
I want to try the Givenchy powder so this one is a pass from me 😊
The Givenchy...well, you don't need me to tell you, it's fantastic.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty and you can buy a mini now 🙌
Looks very pretty!
Hello Sheila!
I will certainly try the pink. I use the Pat McGrath yellow pressed setting powder under the eye already so don’t feel I need the yellow one.
Ah, yes, Amanda, same principle at work with the PMG, which I like as well!
I can see a difference 👍
It’s subtle but it’s there!
You can tell the difference 😊 looks good
Hello Mary! Thank you. It really does work!
Seems the pink and yellow powders are the in things now...OneSize just launched the same 2 colour powders! Very tempted to try a pink one...
Yep! and the O/S powders are lovely!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I have the pink one in my cart....does the yellow one darken your foundation?
I am thinking about trying the powder instead of foundation. I always like a powder foundation better anyway. I'm using a few of the other JRB products.
I think that would be beautiful. It won’t be a ton of coverage but as long as you have concealer where you need it, I think it’s perfect for summer weather.
color correcting powders have been around for decades but I love colored powders ! nothing beats Givenchy pink shade. And the Huda Beauty Cupcake and Cherry blossom ! The only one I’m thinking that may come close is the One size one that now comes in pink . I may try this just to add to the collection ! 😅
Definitely but they are making a marked comeback now. They're fun releases for sure.
Can I please ask a few research questions lol! 1) how this powder compares to other powders in the undereye like prisme libre etc? I mean to say is it a top 5 setting powder for you? 2) do you think it would be too much with a concealer that’s already yellow - It’s hard to tell with this foundation but have you tried it with other concealers that are more on the warm side. Just trying to gauge if it’s pigmented or not so much
Hello there! I’ll answer all. I prefer the Prisme libre and PML but more because I reach for those brands more in general. This is an excellent powder tho. I use over all concealers and peach color correctors with no issues. It’s pigmented but not enough to scream yellow. ❤️♥️💕
Wow these look finely milled .I feel some pink powders are to deep and don't brighten under my eyes. Defintely want to try this one.
Exactly. It's SO light in shade and texture that it really works.
Wow I feel like pink powders are getting more popular by the day. I definitely can tell a difference by your demo.
Buuuut I think I’ll hold onto my Laura Mercier tone up (the pinky peach) for now.
You look great as always😉.
Ps. Have you seen Dior re-released their backstage face and body? Will you be trying that?👀👀
Hey Brianna! Beat ya to it. My Dior Face and Body reformulation video was up last week. And I don't blame you with Laura Mercier. She makes a great powder!
DANG IT. I missed it lol. I’m gonna have to go back and watch it 😂😂
@@briannaarballo733 YAY!
Have you tried the pink under the eyes and yellow on the face? Pink under your eyes should brighten and yellow on the face helps cut redness & smooth out dullness. You as a neutral tone, that's what I would think but I'm curious... 🤍
And you are correct, Cindy! I have tried it and it works beautifully. And a lot of times I’m kind of just using the yellow, surprisingly. Also, I don’t know if you saw the reply I made to another comment you had on a different video. I did not forget about your contour stick request but I don’t have any of the others you mentioned on hand, the Mario or the WA. Asking what other you might have in mind. Did not want you to think I forgot you. I know you don’t think that way… But I do ha ha
Oh good I'm glad it works! For some reason liquid correctors seem to work the opposite.😵💫 Thanks for remembering the request 😊 oddly enough a video popped up a day or so later by someone I'd never watched (Tania B Wells) with those swatches! I swear the algorithm hears & sees everything!! 😳😂
Oh I can definitely see the difference! I’m really interested in the pink one! How is the texture of the powder? It looks finely milled and soft but it’s hard to tell 100% on my end!
Super fine! Super duper soft!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty she has a few things out that I want to try so maybe I’ll do that soon. Do you have an affiliate link for JR? I’m not sure she even does those…
@@celesteg881 I do! I do! They sent me a lovely PR pack a bit ago.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty great! I’ll use it! Last time I ordered from them was after they launched and some of the newer stuff looks really good to me.
Hi Rebecca and everyone….I have been wondering about this powder 😊
Hello Anne! Me too! The pretty colors drew my attention right away!
How much product is in the Jones Road powder? Do you think the yellow powder would take down a bit of redness in a complexion more fair than yours?
6.5 grams of powder :) and I absolutely think the yellow would most def work on a lighter skin tone than mine 💕
Great video always a like 👍👍 I'm sending out love to everyone 💙💛❤💚💜
Sending love right back to you!! ❤️
I can see the difference in shades on your hand
Subtle but definitely there!
Looks better
Right?! It works!
Sorry Rebecca, but I think this is too much trouble to go to when there are products that encompass all colour changes in one powder. I thought that you'd be using the yellow powder to cancel out redness, yet you placed it under your eye's where there isn't any red. Then, when you added the pink powder and did a close up, all I saw was yellow and pink patches of powder, in particularly, attached to the fluff we have on our faces. It was really that obvious, on my telly anyway. It wasn't setting on the skin, but on the soft hair of the face. I never saw any difference in appearance at all. I know that you've reviewed the Guerlain Meteorites and that's far more convenient and looks %100 better! I have a Laura Geller Setting Powder that also has this mixture of colour correcting shades in it and can't see how these Jones Road powders can be any easier to use. Sorry, but Im not as excited as you are, but go for your life and enjoy! It's your face after all.🇦🇺💖🕊
Hello Kris! Understood entirely! The Guerlain Meteorites as a finishing powder is always iconic. We agree there completely.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I've been obsessed with those 'coloured balls' since childhood. I always remember them from the luxury section of our retailer, Myer, with a huge poster on the wall and then in magazines. I used to think of all the ways in which I could use them! (remember, I was a child!). Maybe I saw the extra powder not settled in due to having a more detailed and close-up view? I bet you must hate people watching you on big screen tellys! I know I would!!! My mother and I were interviewed for a national news report, luckily they cut me out! They closed in on her face in the final edit that went to air and we kept putting it in slow motion to show up her wrinkles when she spoke! I've still got it on VHS! That was the day I totally lost faith in anything the media told us. We were asked a question, yet when it was shown on the news the anchor stated something very different that wasn't anything like what was asked of us. I just thought that if they'd go to that much trouble over a Sport's Report, then what else are they misleading us on? Anyway, as I said, go for your life and use that powder all you like if you enjoy it. I was only telling you what I observed. I hope you know me well enough by now to always do as you wish and that I would never hurt your feelings - ever!!! It's only the make-up that I'm telling you about. You know I will always adore you as my greatest make-up journalist, reviewer and friend.💖
@@krisushi1 Oh Kris, please do not worry about that. ABSOLUTELY! I don't get hurt especially when it's fun makeup talk and you are being considerate, thoughtful and expressing an opinion. In fact, I invite it. Never a worry here!!!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Thank you, you're a doll. Sometimes there can be confusion with the way I communicate as an Australian, compared to Americans. There is a big difference. I have to change the way I would normally write, just so no-one takes offense. We're fairly laid back here and it takes much to upset us. I had a bad experience awhile back when a New Yorker totally misunderstood the meaning of my comment and then pinned it at the top to let everyone else have a go before I could even reply! Mind you, she had keep much of what she was complaining about a State Secret and no-one knew, so how could I? After I did reply, she was too much of a coward to address my points and that I wasn't a mind reader. Just making sure, especially after that. You're such a dear.💖
Keep yer powder dry Rebecca!! 🤣
Exactly! Ready for any emergency now because I'm color corrected! Haha. I come correct!
I’m a big Jones Road fan, but how can loose powder go over the WTF foundation? It stays a little tacky on the skin. It seems like it would cake?
GREAT question, Sharon! So it sort of depends on how you use the WTF. For me, it's best used very lightly and it almost sinks in and then it's ideal for powder, just tones it down a bit. As shown in the video. But I totally agree that if you enjoy putting on a good amount of the WTF (and why not! There's no rules. It's just makeup!) then that might be tricky.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Thank you for your candor. I guess I will have to just forgo the powder, WTF and I have a very close relationship. 😂
