Какая кропотливая работа при создании этих шедевров, просто восторг! Я преклоняюсь перед мастерством этих людей, которые создают такое чудо, спасибо им!
If anyone still does hand work, they know how careful, time consuming and precise it must be. Also, great cost, talent, expertise is paramount. These people are masters of their craft. SPECTACULAR ARTISANS!!
*+Coffee Jaytee* Whilst I get your point, I think it is simplistic. Embroidery involves more than just a flat 2-dimensional image. If that was all that was required, then a print would suffice. Embroidery is texture in the same way as oil paints are. Yes, you'll get a similar look from printing the image, or drawing it in a few colours but the depth is achieved by the raising of that image above the fabric, whether that be canvas or tulle. I think both houses rely on texture however, the impression is that for me anyway, Dior are more refined, subtle and exquisite. Chanel - overt, solid and open perhaps.
This teaches a lot about "vision!" Dior has the vision. However, it takes a team of talent, skill, and craftsmanship to help him execute his vision. If you have a vision, you must connect and surround yourself with those who have the skill, talent, and craftsmanship to help you bring it into fruition.
So much of efforts...atleast the brand should print a tag having the name of people who worked so patiently for hours to make one dress.... u are already established brand wats so bad in giving little recognition to people working for it.
Beautiful! However, all the money should be going to the men and women who tediously embroider and construct the garment. They are the real talent here!
My understanding of haute couture is negligible and I have not allowed it to impinge on y life, however watching these clothes being made reminds me so much of FRACTAL MATHS,with the sequence changing every so often.Does anyone think, like Jackson Pollack ,that these designers inherently see the fractals which we mere mortals have to mathematically model?
The editors . . . are they on speed or something? More lingering, please. To gaze. I understand why models move like that . . . so that the fabric moves. Editors shouldn't mirror. More time on everything.
I always hated sewing because of my mom's condition today but every time I watch these type of videos I think I belong there and this scares me as hell

I think they use glue to form several individual feathers into a small strip before stitching it to the dress. They are literally using several thousand of those little feathers.
I never appreciated haute couture until I watched these videos. Amazing handmade fabrics.

I don't always care for the finished outfits, but the artistry behind the embroidery, beading and sewing is absolutely amazing.

Dior: more on textured embroidery
Chanel: more on sparkly beadworks

MGC's approach to haute couture. Practical, less drama and breath taking
Anyone else hate the split second jumpcuts from one thing to another? Gives me headache. Such amazing details but I can't appreciate it properly.
Dior 👍👏👗🎽👚

My God! No wonder why this pieces are so expensive.. They don't use machines to make the embroidery. All is hand made
Is this one time dress. Are they even posible to wash those clothes?
