Today's Trail Run: Just ran away from wild boar 🏃🏻🐷🐷

Took a run today, two lapse on a forest trail run 12km. On the second lap i had to run very fast =))

No matter where you’re running, I’d always recommend bringing bear spray/pepper spray wherever legal, can save you from many situations

You know those light backpacks some have for water and a tube to suck water? Have that as a peppar spray flame thrower 😆

I run 10 &12 K on High Sierra Forest trails, often encounter bear 🐻 or coyote 🐺 or deer🦌. Our bear or docile and I stop running, they trotte away from me, same for coyotes and deer. But, I never run passed or away from bear, I give way to them, and don't show fear or aggression. So far, no issues. But, a boar 🐗 would be dangerous; I would likely climb a tree. But, bears will climb trees as fast as a squirrel 🐿️. I run nude, so it is me, my shoes, and my video camera visor, so tree climbing would be a last resort.

Sounds like awesome trail runs you do! I was really taking todays as any other, but when it all happened, some luck was with me. The worst part was going back since backwards was no option and it's their season there in the forest =)) The whole week was rainy so I longed just to get out. Cheers!
