The 60 giveaway just make it a pan head. Love the flake paint on your bike, that is how mine is done in blue. And the jockey shift is a little tricky but easy to learn, I did mine with a 4 inch belt open primary.
Hi BlockHeadMoto , the bike looks great, a load of us kids and I mean kids when we were 1011 and 12 , we had a BSA 500cc army, dispatch bike with Sidecar. Are used to take all of us to try and push, start it , as at the time, I was none of us big enough to kick it , though we did have a go, it was painful from what I can remember , I love the metalflake purple, in the late 60s early 70s, I customised a few vehicles this was back in the UK, and I converted a Ford Thames van, I done it in metalflake purple and on the either side of the van I’ve painted a memorial, moonscape landscape, using a airbrush, and pieces of paper and cardboard, and just tearing them, and spraying over the edge of the tail line to create a rock affect mountain affect, , then sprayed somewhere in the region of 10 to 15 coats of lacquer, I passed my test at the age of 17 , on a Suzuki, 250 Hustla, then purchased a Norton commando, 750, I’ve had two or three other Nortons. Norton dominator chopper , with extended forks, ape hangers, I had my first 1200 sportster Harley, in the 1993/4 , then FXR 1340 , then 1999/2000 , I purchased a brand-new, soft tail deuce, 1450+kit 1550 , Boom Can exhaust, sadly due to circumstances I had to sell it in 2019, so I can move to France, as I had been scammed by my ex female partner, I’m hoping later on this year to purchase a secondhand one, I’ve been following in your channel for quite some time , I always find it very interesting and a great laugh. I love the banter between you. Ride Safe , I look forward to your next adventure, 😂 Phil from the moulin France.
The best way to keep that kick from hurting your ankle? Do what I did - replace that ankle with titanium. Anyway with that metal left leg I've been thinking about moving to a jockey setup so I'm definitely looking forward to the mext one.
That single down tube frame for your next project giveaway bike looks like it's from Paughco. Their stuff is top shelf. A shout out to Freakshow Fab. Drew at Freakshow helped out some pals of mine after an "incident" with an extended H-D springer. That blue flaked Panhead is outstanding!
This is one that I would love to win from you, This turned out awesome. On the give away I love the color of your bike, or Peterbilt had a color called Lavender Pearl that would look awsome on a bike of that era.
Use to have a 59 hardtail that was kick only in Oklahoma and come winter if it had been one of the nights I didn't bring her inside and had to cold kick her in freezing cold. You built up your leg real fast.
So I’m going to use my “thumb strokes” as Chris stated to say that this bike is GORGEOUS. I love how it is just bare bones bike with no other modern bullshit to go wrong. I’ve only rode like three times in the past few months but I feel that with how old that bike is you are more in tune with the bike. Congrats on your new/old bike and can’t wait to see more videos on it!
Really nice bike, love the paint. No front brake and a foot clutch, just to keep the handle bars clean? I've ridden old sports bikes with poor front brakes and nearly killed myself so now you are riding a bike with no front brake intentionally. Good luck with that.
I never thought I'd be into a purple bike but that pan is gorgeous! Perfect with all the flake, the tank choice, the perfectly clean bars, springer. I'd love to cruise around town on that bad boy. Your back is going to hate you if you do end up doing that long of a road trip tho.
Blockhead, your intro's are THE BEST, the perfect music, combined with the perfect shots. Drew, if I EVER get a chopper built (come on lotto), you are going to be the man.
Thank you thank you THANK YOU for examining the three choppers. Every episode, I don't know which bike you're talking about until about 7-8mins in 😂 But also, super excited to see the first ride with your helmet cam, being your first time riding a foot clutch and jockey shift!!
Been waiting for this episode for ages! This Panhead was incredible. I've shared this series and your channel to my old man and riding mates, and they love your content! Much love from Down Under!

lookin fwd to seeing you learn how to ride block.. Cool man Chris ... F u.. lol just kidding. keep up the fun. Wish I had a little extra cash to ship mine down for you all to put some more go fast parts on it. Drew keep rockin out those motos. they are awesome. Might have to look at some new grips for mine and my parents motos. to the rest of the team cheers to you all.. keep up the great vids.
The rear brake barely stops my bike. That'd be a little scary not having a front brake. I love the bike though. I didn't care for the color purple until you got that chopper you gave away
Your channel is quickly becoming my abolute favorite moment of the day when new videos are posted, so delightful and fun stuff, and so much absolutely great content. eagerly awaiting your reaction to riding a foot clutch :)
Cool bike guys!! Will be great to see how it goes when you learn to ride it. Im sure that will be a fun video for you block. Oh and the team.. a lot of shit giving banter in-between haha. Awesome content you guys make! 🇦🇺 🇺🇲

Hey Blockhead, when you ride the bike use a gopro facing the jockey shifter as well, i think it would be a cool view.
Got to find a way to make this guy more of a regular on the channel…he’s awesome!
We've got plenty more projects lined up with Drew, he's gonna get tired of us reaaaal fast 😂

Thanks for the clarification, I watch but don't think I fully understood the scope of the builds - all clear now.

You should come to thunder on the strip at geneva on the lake Ohio in September
Nice chop guys...good to see alittle ol school every once and awhile...
Shovel Pans are mighty cool. You're aware of split rocker boxes on Shovels, I've seen split Pans too. Just a thought.
Btw, thanks and nice bikes.
Can't wait to see more about riding this bike and the road trip to follow.

Sounds like the cold was motivation, haha
19:26 I see Blockhead is using the River Dance method of kick starting. 😆
Another fun video and the bike looks great.

Personally I’m not a huge fan of the purple, other then that, the bike is pretty sick!
Plum crazy
