They always get the Myrtles story wrong . Chloe didn’t kill the family for revenge. She poisoned the cake to make them just sick enough , so she could nurse them back to health. So she could keep her more comfortable house jobs. She accidentally used too much oleander oil in the chocolate cake she made for one of the daughter’s birthday. The other slaves hanged her to prevent them being blames for the deaths.
I heard in another telling of it she was also listening in to help the other enslaved people who worked outside the house (to notify them of sales or any other news that might impact their families). Very tragic stories.
As soon as he said it I said outloud your very words. They always get this story wrong. I visited there every weekend for 2 years and saw some stuff! It's an interesting place to visit. Thanks for correcting the error.
And all she wanted to do was make people sick. Killing was never her intention. Her target was her lover, the Master of the house. However he did not have any of the cake. She is also said that she misjudged how much Oleander to use, too much is fatal. A lesser does was said to make one sick.
I Applied To Actually Work @The Stanley Hotel...Then Took A Tour Of The Place & Rooms By Myself .... It WAS Definitely Creepy!.... Then Had An "Accident" Driving Out Of The Parking Lot....😬
{correction @4:38} The Whaley daughter's name is Violet, not Victoria. I visited The Whaley House back in 2017 and I can attest to the crazy energy that property conjures. LOVE the Whaley House and it's history.
@SammyStorm as a person who grew up in many different old towns in different states. I can confirm that I have personally had at least 1 ghosts experience or encounter in every town. Especially in the cemeteries at night
@@SooSkiTzO_YT I can't deny nor confirm as I myself never encountered such... If I did maybe I would believe.. cause it's still mind boggling as to why would a ghost exist or even hunt someone, in your case ?? What did the ghost do? Out of curiosity again mean no disrespect am ever curious
The Old State Pen in Idaho is definitely haunted. My brother Tommy helped restore it. He did all the signs in the Pen and the entry sign in the front of the entrance. The little prisoner with the ball and chain. Tommy said it was definitely haunted. Things would go missing and hear things every time he was there. Got to the point he would greet them as he got there and talk to them. Telling them to not touch his stuff. He’d say good night as he left. He was a vet and loved volunteering. I loved see all you showed. Miss his stories about it. 🥰
Both sound relative. How many people does it take to be a city? And are you strictly talking dead soldiers, wounded or captured or length of time for the worst?
@@gregdiamond6023 we have a couple of mass murderers everyday. With it doubling every year. The simple fact they aren't counted until coming in multiples says a lot. We have thousands killed every year today. But the population was so small back then. 3,000 seemed like more. Everything is relative is trite for a reason
Michigan. "ghost at the witches drowning pool" FYI. complete and utter bunk. the "drowning pool" didnt exist till the 1950s and there was never any one drown in it nor any accusations of witchcraft on the island.

Yeah but when you go to that Axe murder House when you leave they don't mention that curses follow you back and bad stuff happens they don't mention that if anybody's smart they will stay away from the Axe murder House but if you're stupid then you'll walk away cursed a friend got cancer after being there my niece got killed bad stuff started happening I didn't go because I had a really bad feeling and kept having nightmares so I didn't go but my sister but her friend went with her ended up when she left that place ended up getting cancer and then my niece got killed there is a curse on that house like I said I started having nightmares and had dreams telling me not to go to that house so I didn't go so nothing happened to me but it happened to them if I could say one thing stay away from the Axe murder House it's cursed bad things will have to happen after you leave it's just a warning that's all I can do is warn people whether they listen to me is their own choice well just remember you put your loved ones at risk and you put yourself at risk
Bonaventure Cemetery is one of the most peaceful and serene places I think I have ever been. I would have spent all day (and all night) there. I found nothing unpleasant or even the least bit spooky. It's like a beautiful park.
I literally just watched a show about the red onion saloon and Lydia the worker she killed a man and then hung herself and now to this day she haunts the saloon.
Maine witch trials? I dunno dude, that doesn't sound accurate 😮 but i did look up this and in Wells, Maine a man was taken to Salem to be executed as a witch. There are no recorded witch burning in Maine.
The music is completely wrong for these stories. Why bother having it in there at all. It's happy music. I can't listen. I want to be a scared, not feel like I'm on my way to Disney.
Have you visited any of these haunted places?
yep! Whaley House in San Diego. It was fantastic!
I hope to see The Ferry Plantation House of Virginia on an umcoming video. It's in my hometown...and it is DEFINITELY haunted!
No and I don’t plan to.
That sanitorium in Kentucky might be interesting. I'd have to look it up and find out if ordinary folk might enter.
We recently posted a full length documentary filmed at the Sallie House... that place is NO joke!

Agreed I think Unsolved Mysteries was the only show that got that story right😇😇😇😇

Thank you! I was beginning to think no one knew the correct story

You didnt say the city that Waverly Hills is in. Its in Louisville, KY
OMG 😲!!!
I would've gone with the S.K. Pierce mansion in Gardner for Massachusetts

I’ve been to the myrtles before, and we have a ghost in one of our photos.
I’m pretty sure St Augustine in Florida is the oldest city in America. And the worst battle of the Civil War was Gettysburg not Antietam.

Yes it definitely is. U are right. I'm from Florida

I visited the Whaley house and caught photos! So crazy.
That video pointing up to the top of the lighthouse, you can clearly see someone peek over the top, it's one of the first ghost captures I'd ever seen
I’ve been to the old jail here in Boise Idaho it’s no that far from me it’s one of my favorite places to go see
Who says there are no ghosts? I see one every day, when I look in the mirror.

We have stayed at the French Lick resort several times. We’ve never experienced anything though 😊
Savannah is also built on a giant cemetery.

The Jerome Grabd Hotel in Jerome, AZ is one of my favorite hotels.
Have been to many of these places… not haunted, just people’s hysterics
Awh man was hoping to see all the states, will be waiting lol
The Paranormal Files have visited most of these locations of places

I used to go there and take photos when I lived in Savannah. My mother in law would go there during her work lunch break and eat lunch.
Bro where is vermont
I was just at the the Red Onion, it is very creepy! You get a sad, depressed feeling upstairs in the "girls" rooms!
You missed Ohio. Lots of haunted places here

I’m thinking everywhere might have had witch trials or witch hunts but Salem is most well known
Wrong.
place part 2 and 3
The White House is also haunted…. By a bumbling, stumbling, ice cream loving skeletor
