I believe JB can be that coach for the long term. He has proven that he can improve a team and take from rebuild to playoffs. The Tobias contract is nothing to lose sleep over and THJ is expiring. 2 veterans that should make a difference showing the youngsters how to prepare, work & be professional. Hopefully they can be just as productive on the court
You can't get everybody. People saying get a star, what I wanna know is which star. We need front court help at power forward and center. We don't need any more guards we need our youngsters to learn
Nba free agency sucks. Go into it with 6 teams with cap space and with the thousand exceptions and loop holes teams with 0 space sign 3-4 players. Nba needs a straight salary cap with 0 exceptions
I think the fanbase overall is too low on Ivey and Duren. Duren has the capability and attributes to be a rim protecting center in this league. If Ivey can improve slightly from the perimeter and be just a SOLID team defender, that is enough to be a good partner to Cade. I would like to see what Ivey/Cade/Ausar/Tobias/Duren would look like. But if Ausar hasn't improved from the perimeter, I would move him to the bench and put in Tech or Hardaway. This year is a defining year for Ivey and Duren but at the same time, you have to give them run.

There is no cap. The team that makes the most money gets to spend the most money. No great trade or free agents. Tobias is a safe contract and THJ.
