I’d forgotten to log in to RUclips much of late and not seen many of your videos and I didn’t realise how soothing and comforting I found them and how much I missed them. Life is tough sometimes and to be able to see beautiful places across the world that I’ll never visit in person is something very special. You make the videos feel very natural and not over produced or edited. It’s a cliche but I feel like I’m there. Thanks for taking us all with you.
So cool to have your mom with you on the road and get to see how you do road trips, video taking, and such. Thanks for having us on the road with you and your mom. ☺️🤟🏻
Robert…your video skills are bar none…no one does it better. I’m with you tonight at The Natural Bridge. I’ve been there in person several years ago and never did I see all you have shown me today in your presentation. Those 360* camera views made your tour even more awesome. Thanks for bringing to me another great American adventure albeit in the comfort of my living room. You have a God given skill at picturing the most scenic and interesting places. And as always “thank you for taking me along.”
spent a week binge watching your vids. love the intro and your music and I share your love and passion for the American West having done a road trip around California and Nevada years ago. Just wanted you to know you've inspired me to do it again. like you I love the mountains and desert and get the same feeling when I'm there. Keep the dream alive. All the best from Dublin Ireland
That place is beautiful. Thank you! I must say, that selfie camera makes it look like you're walking around with a shot glass and doing a great job at not spilling!
Hey Robert we just got back from the natural Bridge Park thanks to you we had a beautiful day and you certainly are a good son to take care of mom that way I lost my mother when I was 15 she was only 40 so I have a deep respect for anyone who cares for their parents just just keep the way you are never change and thanks 1 million for the beautiful videos
I moved from DC to Florida recently. Loved being able to visit the National Mall often. Cherry Hill is one of my favorite RV parks in the area. Love your channel and videos. Your original music is so cool and awesome. Keep up the great work and content!
I moved to VA about 25 years ago from NH. My dad kept asking me why. He came to visit and we stayed in my camper that was parked within 10' of the break water in Gwyn's Island Camper Haven on the Chesapeake Bay. Want to go fishing, grab a chair and walk 10'. Then I took him to Laury Caverns and Natural bridge area. On the way home he asked me is he could move in with me. :)
Hey Robert, love riding along with you in the Blue Ridge area. The views from the Parkway are fantastic! I visited Natural Bridge 20 years ago--I remember being impressed with the size of the thing and the fact they built a road right on top of it. By the way, I really like how you're using the 360 camera on your hikes--it really makes it feel like we're hiking along with you. Happy trails!
Robert, your adventures are so awesome to watch, but I'm waiting until you head West again, the rugged scenery of AZ, UT, CA, NM, CO etc is simply the best. I've really enjoyed your earlier West adventures, and then again in 2019, 2020, all so wonderful (as I love the Western US, especially the SW) but let us know when you head that direction again. Can't wait...!
Another great video, Robert! Natural Bridge in Virginia is very different, but equally awesome, to the natural bridges in Arches NP and other places in the Southwest you've been. Looking forward to the Lewis and Clark videos you have coming up!
HELLO ROBERT--I'VE VIEW SEVERAL OF YOUR VIDEOS AND HAVE BEEN REALLY HAPPY WHILE ENJOYING YOUR ADVENTURES. THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR TIME. SOME OF THEM I HAVE BEEN TO--OTHERS I WANT TO. THANKS.
Robert you were in my back yard so to speak. There are lots of trails, campground’s and attractions in this area both private and public. Thanks for today’s video.
Another good vid. Thanks R. I'm still watching from Vietnam where I've been locked out of Australia due to Covid for 2.5 years now! My poor mum died while I was locked out. Anyway, hopefully I can finally return to Perth in Western Australia next month and join my siblings to scatter our parents' ashes. All the best. Zip.
Hello Traveling Robert😊😊🎸🎸🍔🍔🎵🎵🍟🍟, this was an OUTSTANDING video. I have driven several times past Natural Bridge State Park, so next time will visit. I have also drivin most of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Great video Robert👍👍👍👍!
I really enjoyed visiting Jefferson Park a few years ago. It's good that 5hey improved the trail since then. The Geology of that river was fascinating. Really wanted to swim there! Did you notice the road on top of the natural bridge? Wish the trail could have ended a little closer to the falls though. They were small, but beautiful! I hope you stopped at some of the civil war sights that are in that general area. Very interesting battlefields and museums!
Good morning, this is one of the places I've been. Natural Bridge, Va. We stayed in a family own motel and restaurant on route 11 . It goes right over the bridge. We stayed two days. They had a show at the bridge.
The blue green stuff on the hillside appears to be hydro seed. Sometimes it’s used to establish a stand of grass quickly to help hold the soil on hills. We were on the Blue Ridge Parkway last week & actually stopped at Peaks of Otter Lodge.
I wasn't aware of a natural bridge in Virginia. It looks solid. Those views from the Blue Ridge Mountains remind me a lot to North Georgia's views at the Appalachian Mountains.
Very cool video thanks for sharing 👍I especially like the way you combine the food part into your exploring, I just wish you would show how to cook a little bit more.😆
Hi Robert! Have you been to Cheaha State Park in Delta Alabama? It is the highest point in the state between Birmingham and Atlanta. It is my go to during the summer to escape the Gulfcoast heat and humidity. It is very nice! My mother and me love your channel and always look forward to new videos.
Hey Robert, another great journey I've followed you on, I was there as a kid to natural bridge and you forgot to mention George Washington carved his initials 23 feet up in the rock in 1750 when he was just a land surveyor! Oh well I guess you just missed that giant sign you walked by in the video that had all that information! Lol just kidding, but I'm sure they still had the information there somewhere!! Oh well! No biggy! Keep on with the great videos !!
Hi Robert, We visited Natural Bridge in the 1990's. I remember seeing a GW traced on the walls. Put there by George Washington when he was a surveyor. Am I wrong?
@Traveling Robert, Have you been to Banner Elk, and Boone in North Carolina near the Blue Ridge Parkway. I am going to Boone/Banner Elk, NC for Summer Vacation on June 25th-July 2nd, 2022.
Why do they call it Blue Ridge? That scattering of light produces a hazy effect over the mountains. and coined the term Blue Ridge Mountains. However the Cherokee were the first to use the term, referring to their mountain home as the Shaconage (shah-CON-ug-gee) or 'the land of the blue smoke.
I am going to have to disagree with you on the knives , CUTCO makes the best knives out there once you have a set of those you’ll never buy another set and they do free sharpening for life .
Hey, Robert, you didn't mention that George Washington carved his initials into the rock 23feet up under natural bridge in 1750 when he was just a land surveyor!!?? You missed that information!!
Beautiful video. I was very happy with my beloved son. Thanks so much . 💖💖🈚️👍

Really a good son. Robert doesn't forget to take his mom sometimes.
He can't take his mom one every adventure. But when she feels good. Robert's mom goes - with him.
So cool to have your mom with you on the road and get to see how you do road trips, video taking, and such. Thanks for having us on the road with you and your mom. ☺️🤟🏻
The sound of the trains is always neat and we want more of Mom. She is a neat lady.
Loved the natural bridge area. I always love a good hike. Love seeing Mom out there as well. ❤️
I so enjoy your Sunday travel videos so relaxing and beautiful. Especially with all the craziness of the world these days.

Sweet Mom! ❤️ Your videos show such interesting places!
I need to be at home watching Roberts Travel...
A great video! The scenery was beautiful. Now I have the Natural Bridge on my bucket list.

Hi Robert and llie Thank You for sending us your Sticker. You Both make Amazing videos Thank You. Jeff and Jeannie🙋♀️😃👍

I'm right around the corner here in Virginia...Traveling Robert...I love you! :)
Beautiful trip @TravelingRobert thanks for sharing! BTW that 360 cam is very cool! And your mom is very cute!
What an amazing place!! I always head for the beach. Time to start exploring more of Virginia. Thank you ❤
That stuff along the road that looks sprayed on is hydroseed. Grass seed thats mixed in a slurry and sprayed on with a tanker truck.
You drove passed my house off 66 in Gainesville VA. Loved the natural bridge
Traveling Robert.. Thank You. IPA, You and Illy... Love .
The blue-green stuff in the trees is hydroseeding. They spray grass seed mixed with water & fertilizer.
The blue green stuff is where they have Hydro-seeded the road bank and the mix is tented.
US Hwy. 11 passes over on top of the Natural Bridge. You acknowledged the fact.

Looks like a great area. We are planing a trip from Ga to CT next year might have to make that a stop
Great video Robert. I live a few miles from this section of the Parkway.
I really enjoyed visiting Jefferson Park a few years ago. It's good that 5hey improved the trail since then.

All good. We're on high ground. Thank you.
@@TravelingRobert that’s a good news. I saw some footages on the news and that looked terrible
Very enjoyable sir! Please stay safe sir and continue to put out great videos!

Love the Blue Ridge Parkway!
Rt 81 is the road I take when heading to visit my family in NH instead of 95. No tolls! No crazy traffic.
The blue green stuff on the hillside appears to be hydro seed. Sometimes it’s used to establish a stand of grass quickly to help hold the soil on hills. We were on the Blue Ridge Parkway last week & actually stopped at Peaks of Otter Lodge.
Yes you are correct. There was a forest fire short before Robert drove through there.
I wasn't aware of a natural bridge in Virginia. It looks solid. Those views from the Blue Ridge Mountains remind me a lot to North Georgia's views at the Appalachian Mountains.
I love the nature in this episode. Drive safe.
Such a beautiful park! We love nature!
Very cool basically the exact reverse of our trip last year. We stayed at the Lynchburg KOA a couple miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Love 81, usually travel on it from PA, to points south!
Your camera skills are getting better with every video .. keep making such wonderful content .
Excellent Robert 👌
I think Autumn in New England is my new top song.
The east coast is beautiful. I miss the east coast.

@Traveling Robert, Have you been to Banner Elk, and Boone in North Carolina near the Blue Ridge Parkway. I am going to Boone/Banner Elk, NC for Summer Vacation on June 25th-July 2nd, 2022.
I really enjoy nature a lot in your video's a lot
I haven't been able to explore much of Virginia yet. Would love to go there
It can take days to drive the Blue Ridge Parkway if you make the most of it.
Why do they call it Blue Ridge?
That scattering of light produces a hazy effect over the mountains. and coined the term Blue Ridge Mountains. However the Cherokee were the first to use the term, referring to their mountain home as the Shaconage (shah-CON-ug-gee) or 'the land of the blue smoke.
the blue stuff on the trees is from them blowing seed on bank
Nice Robert 😃
Yesssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep going 👨🏾
My experience with that blue green stuff on banks is hydro seeding. Why it would be all over the trees, I have no idea. Thanks for your video!
I believe that they are seeding the banks to prevent erosion? May be on the tree’s because of overspray.
Robert I saw a video where you bought a STarlink satellite I believe you can bring it with you.
New camera ?insta 360 one x2 looks nice on trails gotta get one of those things
Been going since I was 6!
I am going to have to disagree with you on the knives , CUTCO makes the best knives out there once you have a set of those you’ll never buy another set and they do free sharpening for life .
nice video, keep mom warm. lol

Hey, Robert, you didn't mention that George Washington carved his initials into the rock 23feet up under natural bridge in 1750 when he was just a land surveyor!!?? You missed that information!!
