i watched his as me and my hubby swam for the first time in the full moon in cornwall where we live ,, and we were utterly blessed with these sea fairies too . I havent squeeled and laughed so much in ages . we were high as kits afterwards . This earth is a heaven . Its so rich with life .
Cheers Ben! It sometimes happens around the UK coast over summer - worth keeping an eye on. I'd definitely recommend it - a stunning nature experience!
Can you please share coordinates of this place? I'm researching a bioluminescence for the last half of a year. And that's the first time when I saw that the Mediterranean sea also had a bioluminescent plankton.
@@BenTutton , yeah, thanks, I already saw it at the Facebook. Poor geograpy knowledge, I thought near Portugese, there is a Mediterranean sea, but sadly no. Again atlantic ocean. But in theory, if it's so near, maybe in Mediterranean sea also should be a region with a bioluminescent bloom. Anyway, thanks.
Cool, isn’t it! I’ve seen it in Greenland (under the Aurora’s) and around my zodiac in South Georgia. What camera did you use to capture it? I haven’t managed so far. Great to see your enthusiasm. Keep on sharing it! Super cool, those dolphins!!
It must be amazing to see it under the Aurora! This was filmed on a canon c200 and a 24mm f1.4 lens. I used a fair bit of denoiser on it too. The Sony A7s 2 or 3 would be great for this too.
@@BenTutton It was great, indeed. Ah, sweet, I'm about to sell my c200 (changing to R5), maybe I should reconsider ;) Thanks! Looking forward to new vlogs!
This is great Ben!! Such a memorable moment! So cool having you on the boat :) Hopefully again soon!

It’s very special isn’t it! I hope to experience it in the UK sometime.
Wow! This is so amazing!! Those dolphins ❤️ xoxo
This is so amazing.
This is stunning! Well worth a night time swim. One excuse for being a splashy swimmer.
It was a truly magical experience, and I was definitely trying to be as splashy as possible
Amaaaaazing!!!
E Oates it really was! Just blows my mind that this is created by tiny single cells creatures!
Amazing. I have seen it sailing and even pumping the heads but nothing like your swimming. Andy UK
Loved this mate! Great to see your passion for nature and oh my god those dolphins were insane!
Mental isn't it! We could barely believe our eyes!
You sure this wasn’t a behind the scenes vlog from Night on Earth? Just seen this incredible phenomenon on there - so cool! Really enjoyed this
Alex Collins cheers Alex! It was truly phenomenal! Amazing to be able to experience it.
Mate, this was awesome! Definitely something I'd love to experience myself. I love these little bio-snippets from the trips, keep 'em coming 🤙🏼

Bro! Can’t believe you didn’t drop “patronus” into the description! Absolutely a dolphin 🐬 patronus! 🧙♂️
Love that sooooo much!
Can't believe I missed that either! 🙀 Glad you liked it! It was absolutely amazing to swim in. So bright!

This was in Leixões Marina, just north of Porto.

@@Natureviewmovie the R5 is a beast. I’m sure it will be great for bioluminescence 👍
