This song has always been a total earworm for me. Once I hear it, it stays in my head for days. and days. and days.
The drum sequence at the beginning reminds me of the opening of Peter Gabriel's "Intruder". One of my favourite songs from Phil Collins is "Separate Lives" featuring Marilyn Martin ... but then I'm just a big softie ...
The song was written by Russ Ballard who have written a lot of great songs. I Surrender and Since You Been Gone covered by Rainbow, On The Rebound covered by Uriah Heep, New York Groove covered by Sweet and Ace Frehley. Also wrote God Gave Rock 'n'Roll To You when he was in Argent. It was later covered by Kiss.
The Frida song had Mo Foster on bass RIP and Daryl Stuermer on guitar (touring bass player for Genesis).

Brad you're just not the same without your partner l e x. What happened. I'm sure we all would like to know. You guys were terrific then. But as I look at the number of views, sorry my man you just don't cut the mustard by yourself. Shawn and Mel are trying to make a comeback after their terrific show went on a long time, but they are failing miserably. Unfortunately, Rob squad reactors are still dominating the competition. Too bad.
Lex has had a baby a year or so ago so she's spending her time being a Mum. Life goes on for people, they're not just here for our entertainment forever. A bit rude to say he doesn't cut it. If you don't like his channel don't watch it
@@Shellgrit I'm just saying that any kind of change and Rob squad reactors will stomp your guts out. They are the king of the mountain and way way way way way way way way way way way way ahead of everyone else. Bars and barbells is trying to equal them but they've got a long way to go.
@gregorypatton4706 Rob Squad will always be the best as they're so professional but down to earth in how they react especially Amber and because they are both teachers they can grasp meanings of songs better than other reactors.Theyre also relatable to most people but I think Brad should have more subscribers than he has. The songs he reacts to sometimes are too out there for most people though so thats probably why he doesn't have the numbers
@@Shellgrit we all miss lex so much, her angelic smile and her tiny little freckles, but you convinced me to go back to watching Brad, but the song selections from the past definitely needs to get better, and please no album fillers. A least his patreon requests are probably not as expensive as Rob squad reactors is.
