I have 37418 in my collection. So nice to know it's still around and making noise!
Last time I saw one on mainline was at Stewarts Lane depot
Freights go a long way, trainspotter trainspots, shunter shunts.
Wunderschön
Moving quite quick too!
Salutări din Orașul meu Natal TECUCI România 🙋🙋🙋🌿🇷🇴
Very rare move
Wonder where it went to before coming back. All the way to the Ambergate loops to run-round before coming bqck
Îmi place England 🇬🇧👍😀🚂🚞🚞🚞🚞
Bună seara England
Where was that going or doing
Ne vedem în curând 💂
where was the 08899 going
Barrow Hill I imagine
At 25mph thats a tiresome trip...@@transportationuk7656
Fun fact: In Australia, "gronk" is slang for idiot.
In the R.N. a gronk is a female who is definitely NOT a pretty lady!
How fast can they be dragged at.
I think with rods on they are limited to 20mph. It looked to be doing a good speed going back
@@cedarcam I believe upto 40mph without rods and I believe the traction motors need to be de meshed to avoid over speeding them?
@@NewRailBasher I have seen them in freight trains like that going to the works. There was some instruction about the gears being de meshed as well yes
I bet that was a long, slow mainline move.
What's a Gronk?
A gronk is a Br class 08 diesel shunter.
@@thedragon7442 thanks for that! Weird name for a shunter!
Nothing happened.
