I saw Josh Groban in concert 11 years ago in Phoenix, AZ during his In the Round tour. He performed The Prayer with Judith Hill, a contestant on The Voice. They did a magnificent job with that song! He actually sounds better LIVE than he does in his studio recordings! He’s got such a beautiful voice! He’s one of my all time favorite singers!
I watched this because I'm quite fond of Josh. This was very easy-flowing and conversational. Hard to see you as an introvert based on how you present but you probably are able to mask that by being ultra prepared for everything Josh. (Thats my take on the introvert.). Learned some new things too. Great job overall with the discussion! May you have more musical collaborations in the future in songwriting efforts.

I first heard Josh Groban while driving three hours home alone after my mother-in-law's funeral on a pitch black, rainy night. His song "To Where You Are" came on the radio and I was alternately stabbed with pain for my father-in-law and just struck by the power of his voice. I vowed to look up information about him when I got home and was astonished that he was so young. It would have been in 2003. So, yeah, I was a crier too!
Having memorized Josh Groban’s extra features on his DVDs, he previously described that on-stage burp as resulting from “half a can of Mountain Dew…” 😅 Wonderful interview; thank you for posting!

I remember the event for CA Gov Gray Davis and I heard the singer (can't remember the song) and as I recall . . they did not focus the cam on him and I was wondering: "who the heck is that singing? ? ? " I believe the news commentator mentioned that it was a high school kid. I remember thinking: "that kid has a brilliant future"
