These songs evoke so many memories and emotions. Josh could sing the label of a pickle jar, and it would be a hit and David could make music from a single note. true magic and masters. What a gift we are given to have such wonderful talent.

I loved this! I've been a fan of Josh Groban since his first big hit single "To Where You Are". In my honest opinion, I really feel that he is underrated in the music industry. It's a crime that he does not yet have a Grammy. He should have had a handful of them by now. His voice is definitely the voice of this generation.
Grammys became a popularity show; not a talent one. He's too good to be "popular" because unfortunately the majority of people just wants easy and mediocre sound. I bet he prefers less fans but devoted ones who will love him forever, and be with him on his journey, instead of being a trendy thing that lasts a couple of years before people put it away. Idk if I'm making sense because I'm sleepy 😴 and I can't think straight, not even in my own language!😂

Yes! Me 2! His music has gotten me through a lot of difficult times in my life. I had the privilege of attending one of his in the round concerts in Phoenix 10 years ago. He sounds amazing live! Just as good if not better as the studio recordings!

I was a new widow and my two young adult kids gave me tickets to see Josh Groban live for my 60th birthday and accompanied me! It was the best gift they could’ve ever given me. It’s 17 years later, still a widow, and still loving the music these two share with us.

I heard you sing for the first time watching a PBS special. I always loved music but when I heard you sing, the earth shifted and music was never the same for me. The bar was set to a completely new level and I still feel that way. ❤

This is my favorite album of Josh. I’ve always loved how romantic and tragic this album sounds. Especially love how he goes into the Romance languages. Plus I’m a sucker for string instruments 🥲🫶🏻
And his accent improved always, from album to album! His Spanish was good in "Josh Groban" and got way better in "Closer" and in "Awake" a bit more. His Italian in "Josh Groban" was pretty good in and it was great in "Closer" and it kept on improving, and in "Illuminations" it was wonderful already, close to perfection! His French it's pretty impressive because, even though he mispronounce some sounds, there are others that sound almost perfect! His portuguese is close to perfection, as well, and he pronouces the "ão" sound as a Portuguese native speaker! I've never heard someone got it because it's very difficult! 😊

My wife passed in 2014. But up to that point she was an original Grobanite from the start with his first appearance on Oprah. She loved Josh so much! We were so fortunate to have seen him live at various venues, including The Greek, Hollywood Bowl and lastly, Red Rocks (2013). Closer was a great album and brings back so many wonderful memories. Kind of bittersweet for me, but sweet.

I agree but I think Josh underates himself. For example when he comes to Ireland he is generous to other artists, but I come to see him and him only. I would lay on the couch in the dark and listen to his first album . . .enthralled by the magical beauty my ears were experiencing. I remember being confused by what genre this was. They created their own groove. I've been a huge fan of both ever since.

Love Josh Groban. Have never seen him in person, but would love to. I play, You Raise Me Up, every night before going to sleep. A visiting priest came to our church & played his guitar, singing, You Raise Me Up. I could have cried. It was beautiful. Would love to one day see him in concert.

The Closer album was actually my first introduction to your music, Josh! Once I listened to it, then I went back to your first album too. I’ve seen you live 3 times, and one of those times, I won a fan club meet & greet! You’re also the reason I wanted a Wheaten terrier, and I was blessed to adopt my Reesee and have her with me for nearly 9 years. She passed away in May. Thank you for the music and congrats on celebrating 20 years of Closer! 🙌👏🏼🎶❤️

Greetings from Toronto. I clearly remember purchasing "Closer" already loving Josh and Celine's duet. Was it already 20 years ago? Well David has brought us so much great music, and the gut for rare talent which Josh has. I then purchased another for the cottage, and a few more for x-mas gifts. I was raised on vinyl, but I'll hang onto my CD's forever. So glad to be able to go down memory lane, and a genuine thank you for being a part of all of the important memories, including today.
I like the song "You raise me up". I've ever used that song when lead prayer together with headmaster & some teachers in school from different religion. Nice song and could accepted, all wanted to sing. Good job Josh. 🙏❤
