  • So many read Acts 10 and say: "There you have it. All things are now clean for food." Little do they know that this text has NOTHING to do with food. This video is critical for anyone who thinks Acts 10 is about God redefining His dietary instructions.

@@behold_a_son I did not add the condition of unwashed hands. Performing the man-made Pharisaical hand-washing ritual was the context of the entire incident. This is reiterated by the Messiah Himself in Matthew 15.
Matthew 15:20 NKJV These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man."
Moreover, with all due respect, there are some additional fatal flaws in your interpretation.
      1. When the passage speaks of "food", it is not speaking of unclean meats, which would never even be considered as food.
      2. The passage is speaking against the doctrines and commandments of men, and not against the Commandments of God. Not eating unclean meats is a Commandment of God.
      3. The context of Yeshua's remarks are that the foods people eat are not what causes them to become evil doers, murders, adulterers, fornicators, thieves, false witnesses, and blasphemers. He is not saying or implying that it's okay to eat unclean meats - as that would be an act of disobedience. And, mind you, that disobedience would come from one's heart, and not from the porkchop they ate. In other words: Porkchops do not inflict people with the disease of disobedience. No, disobedience comes from within.

@@sourmilkministries9445 yes I see that I was incorrect. It is written as you said. So I deleted my reply because it may cause confusion. I just want to know more about the Scriptures. I want to know why did God gave commandments for the distinction of food? Is it because of cleanliness and prevention of diseases? Or maybe because of avoiding pagan fellowship? But isn't technology changed since then...honestly I have always eaten food without distinction after praying over it and I believe the food to be sanctified after praying. If I just know the reason behind the commandment then it wouldn't be this confusing and all would probably find a common answer. Thank you for reading!

I love this! Great word! I am reminded of an argument I had with someone stating that When Christ said 'it is not what goes into the mouth of a man that makes him unclean, but what comes out of his mouth' he abolished the food laws. He wasn't talking about food! He was debating the Pharisees argument against his disciples for not following their dogmatic, Talmudic tradition which said that they should not eat with unwashed hands! Again and again Jesus chastises the Pharisees for their added laws. These people miss the point entirely in their desire to justify eating unclean. The church today 'after their own lusts, heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears.'

Where in the vision does it say he was fighting the pharisees.? The vision WAS about food. It was to prepare Peter for his ministry to the gentiles. The vison was twofold. 1. To show Peter he would be going to the gentiles to preach. 2. To show Peter it was ok to eat other foods, ANY food. The vision showing clean and unclean animals was symbolic to show he/they could eat what was previously considered unclean. Perfect.
Yahshua said He talked in mysteries so the rebellious would not understand, keep them in their darkness. Why wouldn't His Father do likewise, since they are one, in unison? The reason animals were used in the vision was to help people who are deceived. Imagine if pig-eating Christians were doing so in all-out rebellion against what they knew to be true. But since they're deceived by centuries of twisting of Paul's words, they aren't as culpable as if they flat out knew they were in stone, cold rebellion.
Yes, Peter was to escape the demands of rabbinic law if he should preach salvation to the Gentiles. Three times, "Kill and eat." He knew he wasn't to kill and eat. That's why he pondered to know the meaning. He was being shown while his refusal to violate Torah from Mt. Sinai is good, he was not bound to Babylonian Talmudic mandates. This story is in part, to show Peter's strength of character to not violate, transgress. This was proving ground for Peter as much as the four INITIAL mandates for Gentiles in Acts 15. Peter prove that he would not bend. Now, we all know he was a good choice to hob-nob with Gentiles and introduce salvation to them. This test proved Peter's character and was not a change of times and laws to eat the abomination.

    • @jackmcbain3525

The "kill and eat" was to show Peter it was/IS ok to eat anything. They were not/we are not bound by the law to refrain from certain foods... the vision was twofold... 1. To show Peter he would be going to the gentiles to preach. 2. That due to the fulfillment of the law: Jesus's birth, death, and resurrection... there is NO more law. Therefore, all foods MAY be eaten.. but doesn't mean you MUST change the way you eat now. Peter deciding to eat as he always had was a personal choice... but due to the vision he also knew it was ok for others to eat what they want... praying over their food and asking The Lord to bless it... thereby becoming clean.

*sigh*.... you are mislead... you speak as if we are still under Mosaic Law. The birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ FULFILLED THE LAW... there was/is no more Mosaic Law. People can't say they are true modern day Christians and STILL try to follow the old law. The law and prophets foretold of the Messiah. They understood that when the Messiah came it would mean THE END of the law. There is SOOOO much confusion and misleading on this site. As a Christian today you can eat WHATEVER you wish... there is no law in the New Testament that forbids us from eating certain foods. All we are required to do is give thanks and ask The Lord to bless the food we are about to eat. THAT IS ALL.... the Old Testament is the history of Israel and the world. Most people don't even know up until Noah, that people were all vegetarians... it was only AFTER the flood God told Noah eating meat was ok... but at that time nothing was specific about what a person could and could not eat... in relation to meat of any kind. The ONLY people who could be considered still living under the law are Jewish people who STILL believe the Messiah is coming... they didn't/don't believe the Messiah has come yet... that if Jesus was anything He was a prophet. It's kinda sad they don't believe Jesus already came, preached, healed, died, arose from the dead... and fulfilled the Law. When a prophecy is fulfilled it means it is DONE.... OVER.... there are NO restrictions on what we may eat. If anyone DOES believe they have to follow the old law.... then they do not believe Jesus fulfilled the law... of you don't believe Jesus fulfilled the law... how can you consider yourself a Christian.?? It makes absolutely no sense.

Jesus "did fulfill" what the prophets and the Word wrote about him.
His part was finished in God's plan for salvation. He did away with the law of sin and death.

@3:28 "You mean like when God told the Israelites to kill everyone like all women and children of some tribes when conquering the promised land?" Just because it isn't something we clearly know it's from God's law doesn't mean He can't still command us to do it. I know now that the reason was because most likely those were descendants of the Nephilin, but this is one of the reasons why a lot of people question God. We can't put God in a box... He is God and sometimes He tells us to do things we don't understand. He absolutely meant it when He told Abraham to kill Isaac, but then the angel stopped him from doing it because Abraham passed the test. Sometimes we don't pass the test.

Consider this. In Acts ch.10 just before Peter had his rooftop vision the Word says that the men sent from Cornelius were approaching his house.
Peter saw the same vision three times. Each time Peter told God that he didn't eat anything unclean. Three times God said," What God hath cleaned call thou not unlean".
The Word " hath" is past tense. When the vision concluded God told Peter that there were men at his door and to go with them. What if God's message to Peter wasn't just that he was accepting gentiles but specifically that Cornelius and his guests had already been cleansed by God through repentance and baptism by John the Baptist?
At Cornelius' house Peter didn't have to explain to them who John was or his mission they already knew. Its a days ride from Caeserea, Cornelius and his guests could have reached John at the Jordan river in one day.

If the Gentiles are not to be deemed as unclean even though the Gentiles eat unclean food, then shouldn't eating unclean food not to be deemed as unclean to the Gentiles?
    Mark 7:18-19 AMPC says:

      Shalom Reuben,
      Did you watch the video?
As we state in the teaching:
Food was never mentioned as a part of the interpretation as to what God was showing him - never. Peter had not eaten ANY of these unclean animals all this time since Yeshua. Doesn't it only make sense that IF the vision was to include the cleansing of unclean animals for food that Peter would have made mention of this?
Peter was not receiving anything new, just something that was already established as true. Even when Peter explains it all to the brothers in Jerusalem as found in chapter 11:1-18, nothing is mentioned regarding food. Peter even informed the brothers of his refusal to eat the unclean animals in the vision he had from the Father.
We hope this helps to clarify this.
      Blessings to you and yours.

@@119Ministries Yes, I watched the video and I loved it! It made some valid points that made me study scripture and ask questions I didn't before. From what I understand, the vision was about Gentiles and that they should not be deemed unclean. I get that. But my question is that how can the Gentiles be deemed clean if they eat unclean food? (Just taking food as an example because the Gentiles frequently ate unclean food. You say that it was not about food, but food was part of the conditions about cleanliness, correct?). Peter did not eat unclean food, this I agree. But the Gentiles ate unclean food, yet the vision mentioned them to not be called unclean. This could be the case if the ceremonial laws were meant only to the Jews. As Leviticus 11:2 NKJV states “Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘These are the animals which you may eat among all the animals that are on the earth:" Note it is written 'to the children of Israel". Am I missing something?
I currently am watching the Pauline Paradox series (was completing the prerequisites for ep 2 :) and I really like the videos! Keep it up!

@@behold_a_son Yes, you are missing something. First and foremost, if you are in Covenant with the Most High, then you are Israel (Read Romans 11 & Ephesians 2). Thus, Israel's instructions are your instructions. Second, the purpose of Peter's vision was to show that he was no longer to consider Gentiles unclean, in general. Peter did not associate with Gentiles by order of a Jewish decree, and not because God said so.
So, to address your specific question: God was welcoming the Gentiles into the Kingdom, warts and all. However, with the inherent expectation that they would learn His Ways and obey them. This is what Acts 15 addresses.
Acts 15:21 NKJV For Moses has had throughout many generations those who preach him in every city, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath."
Thus, without question, Gentile coverts would learn (if for some reason they didn't already know) that Yah says eating unclean meats is an abomination. Moreover, concerning Acts 10, I suspect that Cornelius (and his household) were already ahead of the game, in that they were "God Fearers", which means they were Gentiles who loved Yah and followed Torah, with the exception that the men were not circumcised.

Paul as the chief apostle to the Gentiles did not require theGentiles change their diet to now eat “clean” foods. Nor were gentiles introduced to the “Feasts” the Jews celebrated. Holding these facts before us help us to understand that a wider view of Peter’s vision ought include the letting go of Old Testament dietary constructs.

Im a jew- if I were Peter and hungry, I would definitely choose a clean animal off the sheet and barbecue it, BUT there’s a problem, the clean animals are the sheet with unclean animals which contaminates the clean animals through contact, so being that I’ve never eaten an unclean animal or a clean animal that has been contaminated , I not only wouldn’t eat the unclean animal, I wouldn’t eat the clean , contaminated animal either-
Peter made the right call. This vision is definitely about contact-
    Not food-
Peter obviously understood the laws of kashrut, and after some thought obviously understood the meaning of the vision which he explains later in the passage.

that presents an interesting queery, because certainly lamb, goats and cows alike have been covered with unclean pests at sometime in their life, so the argument, as these are not made unholy by touching. moreover God clearly says the touching of the dead makes one ceremonially unclean but makes no such distinction from an unclean pest as the clean animal is being slaughtered or roasted. but certainly not is condemnable by anyone as you meet anything above Gods standard as a position of Holiness just as some would not even dare write God. nevertheless Baruch Ha Shem.

Question for clarification on Peter's response when he says - "By no means, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is COMMON or unclean.” We all know what unclean means, but what exactly is common food?
From what I've heard, "common" in the context of food is biblically clean but was made "common" due to jewish law? If that's true, it makes me wonder if there were more than just unclean animals in that vision? I'm wondering if it also included biblically clean animals but from Peter's cultural upbringing he considered those "common" and would not eat them. To me, that would only reinforce why this vision is about people NOT about food.

It literally states it in Acts 10, Christ cleansed meat, in which the angel questioned Peter why he doesn't eat certain meats because all things are redeemed. It also was done after G-d purified the Earth with the flood and when Noah stepped off the ark. G-d spoke and said I give unto you all the four legged beast of the Earth all the fish in the sea, and all the fowl in the air for meat, for I G-d created these things and saw they are good. It wasn't until Moses when G-d was showing all these wonders to the Israelites and they still didn't follow G-d, so he gave them a written law as a curse for not following Him. Yes it states that the law is a blessing and a curse but it relates to the new testament of finding joy and worship through suffering. The Jews had to find joy and worship trough the curse. Peter was supposed to give words to Cornelius on how to be saved. Before he could get a few words out the Holy Spirit pored out from G-d and Peter and his apostles were amazed and the only thing he was led to say was be baptized, not live like a Jew or celebrate like one. We are free from the law. The Holy Spirit is what we live by. Please read 1 Timothy 4. This backs up Acts 10.

Kali, in the beginning humans didn't eat meat. Everyone was a vegetarian up until the flood. After the flood God changed man physiologically... in order to allow our body to be able to process meat. (I am pretty sure there WERE some people who ate meat before this. Ignoring God's laws... among other things... hence, the purpose of the flood. After the flood we were able to eat meat. It wasn't until Moses and the Mosaic law came that distinguished WHAT types of meat we could eat. Then with the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus the was fulfilled. There was NO more law. In Peter's vision he saw biblically clean and unclean animals all together on the sheet. The vision was twofold 1. It was to show Peter he would be going to the gentiles to preach. 2. To show Peter it was now ok to eat other types of food/meat. Him going to the gentiles he had to have an understanding that what they were eating was ok.
My personal two cents... I believe Peter was relieved to understand this. Can you imagine the arguments he could possibly get in to due to his previous understanding of Mosaic law.? But now he knew he didn't have to worry about that because as we pray over our food and ask The Lord to bless it... it becomes clean.
      Any questions plz ask.
      God bless.!

The _Age of Grace_ *began* with a spectacular “event” in Damascus (Acts 9: 1-18). Doesn’t it stand to reason that the _Age of Grace_ will also *end* with an equally spectacular “event” in Damascus, from where it all started, just prior to its destruction (Isaiah 17:1)?
On the road to Damascus (Acts 9:1-18), Paul saw a light and was struck blind for 3 days. He was taken to Damascus where the veil was lifted from his eyes, and the age of grace began. When Damascus will be totally destroyed and cease to be a city (Isaiah 17:1), the road leading to and out of Damascus will also be destroyed and cease to exist. This will leave us no exit road out - our only exit will be up.
This very road which led to *GRACE, WILL ALSO CEASE.* Paul knew of a time when this Age of Grace would be "complete" and "come to an end" when he stated *_“until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in”_* (Romans 11:25). This reference means that when the last member of the Body of Christ will be accounted for, this scripture will be fulfilled.
Similarly to Paul, will not the veil over our carnal eyes be lifted, when Damascus is destroyed. Will we not meet and see our Messiah spiritually in all His light and glory in the clouds?
At the end of this age of grace, it's the rapture of the Body of Christ. Is this event, (the destruction of Damascus), the trigger signaling our departure? and is this event the very first domino to fall which will topple the rest of the dominos already set in place, to usher in the tribulation and the Anti-Christ?
We, the Body, are children of the Light (Eph.5:8, Philp.2:15, 1Thess.5:5). We are the only light that is left to illuminate the world. We will be taken out of harm’s way, snatched away, caught up, to be with our Messiah. The world will no longer have light - Darkness will reign. The Anti-Christ will be introduced and Jacob’s trouble (the 7-year tribulation) will begin.
Look up, our redemption is at hand. Our Blessed Hope is about to become reality!
LET THE ABOVE SINK IN FOR A MOMENT
This is a maranatha “come soon” moment. Rejoice!
    ----------------------------------------------------------------
*Also to consider* - God insisted that the story about Paul's "road-to-Damascus" experience be recounted 3 times, (in the same book no less). See Acts 9:1-18, then in Acts 22:1-18 and then again in Acts 26:1-18.
THREE (3) is a very significant number to God. To my knowledge, Acts is the only book in the Bible that has the SAME STORY recounted 3 times within it.
Why would the limited pages of the Bible use up so much precious real-estate in just one book? This is not happenstance. It was intentioned by God Himself, for a specific reason.
Concerning the number 3, E.W. Bullinger so aptly notes that, ”three marks Divine completeness and perfection of testimony”
And to reaffirm how significant the number 3 truly is, also consider the story of Peter and his 3-fold vision of unclean meats, wherein God tells him to eat thereof and his 3-fold refusal to eat as God had commanded. Remember, this whole story revolves around the “unclean gentiles, made clean”. (Acts 10 & 11).
SPECIAL NOTE: We are told that after Peter’s refusal to eat of the “unclean” food (representing God cleansing the Gentiles, rendering them clean and acceptable), that this “unclean” food (Gentiles), laying upon *the 4 corners of the sheet* were all immediately *_taken away_* to heaven. This is reminiscent of the “Gentile” BODY of Christ being *_taken away_* (raptured) from *the 4 corners of the earth.* (Acts 10: 11 & 16)
    ----------------------------------------------------------------
*Also to consider* - Methuselah was the oldest recorded person in the whole Bible. His name in Hebrew/Aramaic prophetically means _”destruction will come”_ or _”his death shall bring”_ or something to that effect.
Damascus happens to be the oldest known inhabited city in the world. Is it possible that just as Methuselah's death was foretelling the destruction of the world in Noah’s day, that the destruction of Damascus might also be foretelling the coming destruction that God is about to bring on this present world?
AS A SIDE NOTE: The only other cities to be completely destroyed like Damascus is Sodom & Gomorrah. They became a ruinous heap (of ashes), by fire and brimstone, just like the fire and brimstone that God will rain down in (Ezk.38:22).
When the alliance of armies coming from the north, marching towards the south, for the spoils in the Golan Heights (oil & gas), they must geographically go through Damascus. God can fulfill 2 prophecies at the same time, both the destruction of Damascus (in less than 12 hours), by fire and brimstone AND the destruction of the attacking enemy armies of Gog (in less than 12 hours), also by fire and brimstone.
Scripture/God claims that “they” (and the whole world) will know that I Am God. If fire & brimstone fall from the sky, everyone will see the hand of God. If Damascus and the attacking armies (Russia, Turkey, Iran) are destroyed by a nuclear bomb (as some have suggested), then the world would not have a reason to believe God Himself intervened. Think about this!
ONLY GOD KNOWS THE END FROM THE BEGINNING.
The start of the _Age of Grace_ *began* with a spectacular "event" in Damascus. Doesn't it stand to reason that the _Age of Grace_ will *end* with an equally spectacular "event" also in Damascus, from where it all began?

@119Ministies "There you have it. All things are indeed now clean for food" is declared by the Word of God starting with Acts 10, but not ending there. You are in error and not fully interpreting Acts 10. Can not a bible passage have more than one meaning? Yes it can and does. Here's an example....Revelation 13:3: "And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast." In Revelation 13:3, the deadly wound of the Antichrist has two meanings: (1) a revival of the Roman Empire and (2) his actual deadly physcial wound will be healed. Keep in mind the Antichrist will mock Christ such as healing the sick and mocking the Resurrection of Christ. Being healed of a deadly wound mocks Christ's resurrection.
So what about Acts 10? It has more than one meaning. Acts 10:10-15: "(10) And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, (11) And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: (12) Wherin were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. (13) And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. (14) But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. (15) And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. (16) This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven."
The 1st meaning is about God wanting Peter to witness to Gentiles which is the only meaning you see. The 2nd meaning does indeed include eating unclean animals since the vision included them. That's the part you and too many others are missing. If a person accepts Christ as Lord and Savior, then they are cleansed by God. Also if a person prays over their food, with thanksgiving, then the food is cleansed by God, including so called unclean meats. 1 Timothy 4:1-5: "(1) Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; (2) Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; (3) Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. (4) For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: (5) For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer."
Now in 1 Timothy 1-5, this passage is warning against giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons. Part of this warning is commanding others to abstain from meats. Now please re-read 1 Timothy 4:4 again where it clearly and emphatically states that every creature, icluding unclean animals, is good and not to be refused if received with thanksgiving. So yes not only did Christ change the dietary habits once after the flood, but here He did it again. If a person prays over their food, then it's cleansed by God. This is a passage which in part compliments Acts 10. There you go the Word has declared every creature good. I pray thee, please stop going against the Word of God and ask Him to give you complete understanding of His Word. Stop leading people astray.

Why would Yah want us to eat meat that comes from animals that clean up the filth of the earth and sea? Why would Yah have Peter break His law? Why would Yah go against His command? Isn’t He the same yesterday, today and forevermore?

    • @IlluminatiSecretsRevealed
      @IlluminatiSecretsRevealed 4 года назад +1

@@amyw4125 Yes God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. You are misinterpreting that here. God is the same in nature and person always. It doesn't mean He won't change certain things when He sees fit to correct mankind when we are in error. Correct me if I am wrong, didn't God change the diet for man the 1st time after the flood? Genesis 9:3: "Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things." Based upon your misinterpretation, we are to ignore this passage and just eat fruit and veggies like mankind did b4 the flood.
So yes God did declare certain animals unclean. Yet He changed things yet again, starting with Acts 10 and yet complimenting it with 1 Timothy 4:3-5: "(3) Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. (4) For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: (5) For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer."
Now I will be praying for you because you are not debating with me but Yah Himself which is a problem. It clearly states in 1 Timothy 4:4 that every creature of God is good and not to be refused if received with thanksgiving. Are not all creatures including the unclean created by Yah? All things are possible with God. To make the proper and full interpretation of Acts 10 goes like this....Whoever accepts Christ as Lord and Savior, including Gentiles, have been cleansed and sanctified by Yah. Also whoever eats any meat, including unclean, and pray over it with thanksgiving, that food has been cleansed and sanctified by Yah. If Yah has the power to cleanse sinners, then He would certainly have the power to cleanse unclean food if we ask Him. If you don't believe that then I feel sorry you. Like I said I will be praying for you.

For if the illustration is false (meaning if all those unclean animals were not, in fact, now clean), then neither is the meaning behind the symbol. He didn't know, at the beginning, what God was saying. He was confused because God had given him a command that went against the dietary laws of the Old Covenant. Peter eventually figured out that vision was to teach him that Gentiles were included in God's redemption and salvation. The question is why did God give a command to Peter that went against the dietary laws he commanded in the Old Testament. It seems at odds with God to teach Peter that Gentiles were included in the gospel by commanding Peter to break the law.

You're interpretation is clearly wrong because not only the Gentiles were cleansed, the Dietary Laws are now done away by Christ Jesus' Atonement on the cross!
Let's take a look at the Apostle Peter's vision:
    Acts 10:9-16 KJV
On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour: [10] And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, [11] And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: [12] Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. [13] And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. [14] But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. [15] And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. [16] This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.
This was done 3 times to confirm the matter, the same way Christ Jesus spoke with Peter on different occasions. Read in the Gospels.
Peter journeyed with these uncircumcised men why? Who told him to go with them?
    Acts 10:17-20 KJV
Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon's house, and stood before the gate, [18] And called, and asked whether Simon, which was surnamed Peter, were lodged there. [19] 👉While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee. [20] Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them.👈
After this, read the next chapter to see those opposed to what the Spirit of God told Peter to do!
    Acts 11:1-18 KJV
And the apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God. [2] And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, *they that were of the circumcision contended with him,* [3] *Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.* (Peter ATE WITH THEM!)
    Continue reading:
[4] But Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by order unto them, saying, [5] I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me: [6] Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. [7] And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat. [8] But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth. [9] But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. [10] And this was done three times: and all were drawn up again into heaven. [11] And, behold, immediately there were three men already come unto the house where I was, sent from Caesarea unto me. [12] *And the Spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man's house:* [13] *And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter;* [14] Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved. [15] And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. [16] Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. [17] Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God? [18] When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

You completely ignore the Lord’s words - words He spoke- does He not mean ALL that He speaks? You mention that Peter went on to practice the law and abide under the food laws - yet it is also said that he was accursed for doing so.....
If we could earn our own salvation what would be the need for a Savior. And can what God says and shows not have a double meaning not contradictory to one another? Why ONLY does this pertain to gentiles and not to the food shown itself. I feel you are heavily leading people astray and putting them under a law that Jesus fulfilled... that the Lord God Himself spoke and said had been made clean.
So what of the other 613 commandments - you mean to tell me you do and follow each of those in perfect fulfillment ?!! NONSENSE! WE COULD NOT FULFILL THE LAW, it is why Jesus was sent to die for the sins of the world. You are cursed by the law of which you command others keep- for if you break but one you’ve broken them all.
So please tell me you do not wear clothes mixed of two different threads- that you do not wear linen and wool blends? Polyester blends? Get out of here with that .... seriously. Just about every piece of clothing made in modern day is mixed threads. Suppose we should all start walking around naked as to not break God’s law...
Many will use homosexuality to draw a parallel in the law but homosexuality is also spoken against in the NT. However, I can see no evidence of the same in regards to food, especially when I see the spoken words of God “what I have made clean”...
So because we discredit those words to pertain to Gentiles only and not both the animals and their consumers... what else has God said that we may dismiss as mere illustration!
Is not the word of God perfect ? Is not His word breathed into life ? Does His word not give life? Why if He did not mean it would He have spoke it?! I’m really struggling to dismiss the words of God as merely illustration with no other meaning but for an illustrative purpose - is our God not greater than that ? Is His word not TRUTH in all ways? Or only partially?!
Thank God Almighty for His abounding grace that sinners such as myself who take His words to be finite truth can see such meaning and know that He knows my heart above all else ♥️

I adjure you to study on that Hebrew word unclean, then study the reason unclean animals were created. Then it will be very clear why He said they were unclean and why we are not to eat the unclean. I've come to learn when we cross up TMH word, we lack clear understanding of Him and his word.
