Man you are a lifesaver. My computer tower fell on the ground and the screen on my TV got all screwed up looking. It didn't beep after I powered it back up. Just did like a few others here I unhooked a few cables and plugged them back in. I wasn't really hopeful but it actually beeped and loaded right up. It works like a charm now. I can't thank you enough
Im glad bro. I'd suggest double check all cable connections and ssd/hdd positions, just to be on the safe side. Also replug your ram sticks

No it did not, but now I know it's not that. Screen goes on(but stays black) pc runs. Only black screen of death. Happened after win 10 update. Then it was automatic repair an now nothing : (
@@AdLast if you have a bootable USB or CD with windows 10 on it boot from it and use auto repair..
If you don't have one go to Microsoft site and create one 😁
Tried already. 2 PCs 3 monitors. No signal. Maybe powersuply maybe motherboard maybe ??? Cant get it fixed. Probably something simple. First time ever this problem.
Edit: also 4 hard drives tested. Very small chance that EVERYTHING broke down at exact the same day. 1 in a 1.000.000
but still possible...............

I like how i got new 900$ pc and that fucking shit need cmos battery taken off and on every god daim time this is so stupid and idk why it hapens cause it because of motherboard or psu or what... Even today again yesterday went to bed everrything worked and now in the morning no beep pc powers on but no display reseted bios with battery works.. its so anoying to do that every time

In my AMD FX PC I had some cheap China RAM 8GBx2 mixed with some new TeamGroup 8GBx2 RAM. It would need restarting after being on for a while but still boot until yesterday when I got no boot beep or display. So I just unplugged it for the night, then in the morning unplugged the China RAM from the secondary dual slots, plugged it in, turned it on and it booted no problem!

I ahve the same problem. I removed the ram, still no beep. Is this psu fault? Could it be the cpu or the mb? The fans are working ok including the cpu fan, so the motherboard is taking power
Reinstall the cpu...if no luck try another psu

Hi there i need some help my sisters old HP laptop turns on but has black screen the fans are running i hear the disk drive working wifi light on keyboard is orange but no display, the other day when i took the ram out and turned it on it then beeped to let me know there is no ram i put the ram back in its original slot and turned it on still no display after many many attempts of powering it on and off about 100 times it did eventually come on as normal but as soon as you shut it down it then does the same thing no display black screen and today ive tried all day trying to get it back on but its not doing it and ive tried taking the ram out powered it on and it didn't even beep this time can you tell me what the problem is please ? because im out of ideas
Maybe try to remove some dust from the hardware,if you can remove the cpu and also blew some dust of it...also make sure that the laptop doesn't have enough heat on it...if you need more assist , dm me on Instagram,, andreas.milonas , is my nickname , maybe we can solve the problem from there
Does the laptop have an hdmi port or VGA port? Cause you can connect it to an external monitor and see If it works.

It was my new pc i actually change some setting from bios and when i save changes the monitor have no signal and no beep sound why

Make sure your new motherboard is compatible with the RAM.

First) Change the PSU (power supply)
Second) check the pins of the motherboard , on the cpu socket

Try removing the ram, and tell of you hear any beep sounds...if yes, then your problem isn't the psu, but ur ram... do not replace them, just wipe them off a little bit, and try again

eeehhh tour ram mobile were in stalled incorrectly they need to be dual channel hence why the colours or opposite to each other by the way

Have you checked the CPU?
I have problem computer turns on CPU fan running and the usb dvd and botton start red and green colors are shown ok but no display on screen I tested the power supply in other pc and it work fine the hdd also fine and the CPU too I couldn't test the ram may cause not same reference but I think I have ram problems may the 2 sticks of my ram are dead .
Note when I start pc I hear the sound of beep when turned on then nothing happened I just need to confirm if the ram is the problem I tested both of them in other computer they didn't work but didn't confirm if they didn't work may cause they dead or they don't have same reference by the way they are ddr2 and I tested them on motherboard support DDR 2 .

hello dude my cpu doesnt show display my monitor is fine after removing the ram my pc still does not beep you know warning that there is no ram
even tho if i put my ram my pc starts and fans are spinning but after some time the spinn faster and powersupply fan makes noises but noises are normal

Check if your cpu pins are bended....remove gpu...if you have another psu ,try and replace it, if it doesn't post at all, it may be your motherboard

@@rocklinex1554 it means that something is short circuiting your pc, and it doesn't let it boot up...try and remove some parts if your pc and see if it posts

make sure that the chipset of your motherboard is comptible with your cpu...and the rams are listed in the QVL of your motherboard......
I'd strongly recommend to build a ryzen 5 2600 system with an b450 , corsair 16gb

Check your motherboard's manual.... Also play a little more with your ram sticks, it helps

@@darthvader44 if you don't have one, I'd recommend to change your ram slots , ex. If you have dual channel insert on 2&4 slot

check your bios if the otpion fro "beep" when turning on the pc is enabled....also check if fast boot option is off
