That looked really good. Our Papa Murphy closed down quite a few years ago. That was before outdoor pizza ovens were so popular and shortly after Hurricane Rita which caused a housing and staffing shortage. A few months ago my Walmart was selling the Blackstone pizza oven with stand on the clearance aisle for $250.00. Several times I thought about buying it, but I just don’t eat enough pizza to justify it.
Great lookin 🍕pie Tom. Do you prefer your own dough or the Papa Murphy's? I'm still learning on the dough game with my pizza oven, particularly with stretching it. I may go to the roller, but it just seems sacrilegious.
This looks great. I have a Ooni and it uses pellets, and it's kind of a pain in the ass. But when you get it right, it's great. This unit is tempting but 1) I think I would miss the smoke flavor and 2) I don't get why these pizza ovens are so darn expensive. I will say at least this thing looks well built and has the rotating stone, which is really nice, as turning the pizza in a small space and be a bit tricky sometimes.
That turned out really nice. The bottom looked good as did the top! Sometimes it's difficult to get both the top and bottom done nicely.

For what you get probably one of the most bang for your buck pizza ovens. Our favorite take n bake is actually Aldi.

Thanks Ted! I’m fortunate enough to have 2 grocery store chains, woodmans and Sendiks that sell frozen pizza dough.
