This is one of Liverpool's glaring issues: we are allergic to maintaining a comfortable lead. Even when we beat Tottenham 4-2 the week before, those two goals from Tottenham in the second half didn't surprise me at all. I honestly expected them to make it at least 4-3.
We're in this awkward position where if we don't somehow concede first and have to punch up to equalise and take the lead, we're instead giving away one or two-goal leads with speed that could rival the likes of Sonic. The fact we put 4 in a row past Tottenham in the first place is surprising, because we've not been clinical this season. We can have ten chances in the first half whilst the other team can have only two, but by the end of the half the score's looking something like 1-1.
I don't know how much of a problem this was today because I was out for a majority of the game, but this is an issue that's been blatant ever since last season. In fact, it's at its worst *this* season despite us being in a better position this time around. From a view of the highlights, it seems what cost us our lead today were individual mistakes from the midfield.

arsenal fan here following and respecting Liverpool since the mid 90s and I'll tell you something since 2017 Liverpool become a very good team so strong almost perfect on 2020 and klopp was the reason of all of that but he was also the reason of what happened after that especially this season replacing firmino mane robertson vijnaldom by baying clowns was his fault and it's sad it's really sad because today no one remember Guardiola's bad decision on baying some players because behind him was city board to let those bad players leave and give pep the ability to make a better decisions but not FSG mate...so sad for klopp...time for a new start good luck for the next season.
If Darwin & Diaz learn how to stay onside, they'd be dangerous.

@@BigSixBants True, but Diaz seems to do it when you need him the most. Don't know if it's a maturity issue or if the highly emotional play Klopp encourages just isn't sustainable during close matches.
