As wonderful as your personality is, (...can't help but to like you immediately!) you obviously know what you're talking about and really helped me with some great tips! I started making and selling wire wrapped gemstones 18 months ago. Being OCD, I bought a rotary kit at HF mostly to polish my stones to my high standards and then began to grind away imperfections in the stone or in the cut... needless to say, now I want to do it all, from cutting from rough to soldering and casting. I subscribed. You seem very knowledgeable about jewelry making/metalsmithing. I am an avid Beach collector of 20 plus years and I've been making jewelry and I would really like to get a shop started. However I have not learned how to do the bezels or any of the metalsmithing to be honest with you. I've got books I've watched tons of videos but I'm the type of person who really needs like one-on-one instruction to see it. you don't need a rolling mill .....You can do the same thing with a hammer and an anvil or vice with a place to pound metal on it. I will make a video tomorrow on how to do it with minimal tools. thanks for your comment ....watch for the video it may take a day or two as i am quite busy

I subscribed. You seem very knowledgeable about jewelry making/metalsmithing. I am an avid Beach collector of 20 plus years and I've been making jewelry and I would really like to get a shop started. However I have not learned how to do the bezels or any of the metalsmithing to be honest with you. I've got books I've watched tons of videos but I'm the type of person who really needs like one-on-one instruction to see it. What about the rolling mills? How can I work without? Thank you
you don't need a rolling mill .....You can do the same thing with a hammer and an anvil or vice with a place to pound metal on it.
I will make a video tomorrow on how to do it with minimal tools. thanks for your comment ....watch for the video it may take a day or two as i am quite busy
