You didn't cut aluminum. Thanks for the tape update, sounds really helpful. However, how long does it take to cut a shape like that out of, say 1/4" aluminum with the best blade?
(I haven't bought a decent scroll saw yet).

      Less than 10 minutes.

‘‘Tis for this Dan and I’ll certainly try it as I’ve just started fooling with some aluminum a bit........ used my Bladerunner to cut out a Comma template PFS a couple weeks ago.
It cuts pretty good but MAN did it ever get hot.

Bladerunners can also beat you to death if you are not careful.

@@BIGDH2000 agreed............got my finger caught under one of the sharp corners of the Comma template, trying to hold it down and cut at the same time.....pinched the hell out of it and drew a blood blister...........I NEED a bandsaw, LOL

Great video! I started with a small scroll saw before acquiring a bandsaw as well Scroll saw was to small 15" I wasn't able to cut anything more than a few mm But served its purpose well none the less

Thanks. There are times when I still go back to my scroll saw if the work it detailed or needs to be done on a tight radius. Lot less painful if you break a skinny scroll saw blade than a bandsaw blade (at 30 times the cost).
