I've been traumtized by these horrid little vampires. I wouldn't wish these nasty little vampires on no one. When I finally found out I had bedbugs I was absolutely grossed out and freaked out. I found out the hard way that I had bedbugs cuz one night I was trying to sleep but my mind was wide awake and I got up off my bed and I decided to turn my light on and I noticed a black dot moving and I thought it was a spider so i got a piece of paper to get it. well I looked and Suprise Suprise it was a bug i didnt recognize so I kept it alive to find out what it was and I was absolutely horrified, and after I got the one bug kept alive to check out what it was I saw several of them running for cover and I remember smashing one of them and I heard a pop and then I saw all the blood come out. Yeah definitely make sure to look for these things cuz it took me quite awhile to feel comfortable sleeping again.
For someone who recently battled an infestation, it was small/mild, nothing crazy! But here are my tips and please use it to your full advantage no matter how big or small your infestation is. This is going to be a LONG READ!!! But it’s helpful!!! 1: Buy mattress, pillow, and box spring covers/ encasements. Specifically made for bed bugs because it has a material that bed bugs have a hard time crawling on. Also, once the covers/ encasements are on, Bed Bugs can’t come out and they can’t go in! Bed bugs are known for hiding inside of your mattress and mainly your box spring. If you’re an aggressive sleeper or sleep with someone, buy two! Just in case one of them rips or tears. 2: Buy bed bug interceptors, put them on the legs of your bed frame, so when they try to climb up to your bed to bite you, they’ll get trapped! You can also put this on the legs of your furniture or on other bed frames in your home for PROTECTION. The first step to stop the infestation from getting worst, is to not let them bite you! That’s how they turn into adults and lay eggs, with a lot of blood consumption. 3: Buy CimeXa powder with a powder duster tool from a company like Amazon. Put some of the powder inside of the bed bug interceptors (the inner part where the legs of your bed frame or any other furniture would go, not the outer part.) These powders will legitimately kill all stages of bed bugs within a 1-3 day period, including every other insect as well! You should use this powder in corners, holes, cracks, under your mattress & under your furniture. But use a face mask with gloves when you’re applying the powder and do not over use it. This powder should be applied like dust, if you throw chunks of powder all over the place then insects will just find a way around it. This powder also stays where it’s been applied for A LONG TIME! Unless you vacuum it up with a strong vacuum or you clean it up with a liquid substance. If you do then you’ll need to reapply it but this powder destroy insects!!! Once they walk directly onto/ over it. A lot of people would mention DE, but apparently it causes breathing problems and takes longer to kill bed bugs compared to CimeXa. So buy CimeXa with a powder duster tool. 4: Keep your bed away from the wall! Make sure your sheets aren’t hanging off of the bed, or you don’t have a charger or anything that the bed bugs can climb onto without them using the legs of your bed frame. If you wake up and find your pillow or blanket on the floor, leave it there! Dont pick it up and use it to go back to sleep. 5: Buy ortho bed bug spray or crossfire! It kills all stages of bed bugs on contact! And it kills bed bugs even after it dries, by leaving traces of poison that sticks to their body, they have no resistant to it either. So spray these in areas where there’s bed bug activity or places where they’d most likely hide. Cracks, corners, holes, etc… remember that they hide CLOSE TO YOU! Rubbing alcohol is great too! But once it dries then it’s pretty much useless. Alcohol only kills stages of bed bugs on contact! Ortho and crossfire leaves behind poison that sticks to all insects. These sprays aren’t flammable and they will not stain or damage your furniture. So you can completely spray down your walls, floors, carpet, furniture, etc… without any negative effects. They do have a scent, but it’s not a super strong or bad scent at all.
they are fast, coz these devil as i call them are quite conscious,of what they are doing and they are afraid of being caught!! they hate lights..and love the dark.for its in the dark when they mostly come out to fest on your blood! i hate them as well as fleas! they cause havoc and many me lose a lot of bed sheets, matresses and pillows!! all thrown away for good, for we get traumatized by them..and yes although they hate light, they prefer the warm hot climate
I stayed at a hotel add in the morning woke up with what I would imagine was 60 or 70 bed bug bites Summer's largest Marbles and some as small as a rash I suffered for days and days and worse yet they got into my luggage even though I stopped at a laundromat and tried to cook them to death them to death as I had read online but I still ended up bringing them home which cost me a huge amount of money and no end to the grief I would suggest did anybody that stops at a hotel bring a strong flashlight and check the bed before you do anything
Spiders and ants love bed bugs I had some about 7 years ago and I try to get rid of them and spray them with flea sprays and bomb them even crush them but after awhile spiders had snag them on walls and feasted on them and so has ants but the thing is I found that rubbing alcohol eats their shell leaves them to smell different from their buddies so their buddies and up killing them as well but about 3rd year of having them they finally died off back in 2018 and I'm so glad and we haven't had them ever since..

I'm 97.33% sure the bed bugs are in my kitchen seat cushions because that's where I sit me arse half the day on the computer. Saludos to this webpage and to all commenting.
My uncle moved in and we found some on his bed and it was only 4 or 5 found we bagged everything washed everything I was the only one getting bite haven't seen any but ever thing from a Crum drives me crazy I hope none are still living
I just found one on Easter Sunday sadly that was our day dealing with these little shits! We did check everywhere and we couldn’t find anymore just the one we put in a ziplock for our landlord to see.
There are only 2 reason bedbugs leave a line or cluster of bites: 1) the bug is immature & hasn't learned to control its feeding (you'll get an injection & bug may no feed or usually incomplete feeding); 2) you have a good circulatory system & blood vessels just below the skin are moving a lot of heat, bedbugs go for the heat (this is likely several different bedbugs, unlike in case 1).
Got it all over my room and my Fathers now too. Hoping to see results in a few weeks, week 1 is over and still see them. But they say it can be up to 4 weeks
With Damascus earth u need the food grade one & very good mask to cover ur nose & mouth. U don't want to get that stuff n ur lungs or ur nose or eyes. Wear protective throw rubber gloves & if u can afford a better mask to protect ur nose & mouth to stop thar dust from get n n to ur lung areas. It can hurt ur lungs a lot. Also get those saucer shaped things with 2 areas on the inside of it. Put some demacious food grade earth in its center & some very lightly on the first inside areas. It's made up of ground sea shells. It works by cutting into the bed bugs body & it also dries their bodies out to the point some will die. I was about to work for a bug killing company & taught myself a lot about all types of bugs, & ect.... don't take my word for it look it up for yourselves. Nothing like being educated regarding these blood sucking insects. Even when u put an enclosed zip cover on ur mattress means bed bugs inside will die eventually. This doesn't mean that other bed bugs won't get on ur bed. They will cause they need ur blood so they can grow faster & shed their shell so they can get bigger & survive moreso. Good luck
How can I show u a picture , what I seem to think might be two under comforter, main sheet fitted sheet and in the crease of mattress cover in corner of the bed
Bed bugs love leather and good luck getting them out of that sofa. You can heat cloth furniture to kill them. You can’t heat leather. It drys and cracks. High heat will kill both adults and eggs.
i have used BB spray i got from Walmart and the Apartment landlord has had our buiding sprayed and sprayed many times . But i still have bugs. I ve bagged all my clothes and put them in black trash bags in the heat in my truck bc i cannot afford to wash all my clothes. I am lost to what to do. Is this spray pet friendly?
No it's not pet friendly but please don't bomb them it makes re-populate so get some glue traps those are good for bed bugs and heat does kill bed bugs and for your bed get a bed sack it'll keep bugs and other stuff out of your bed and for your pets bed get some flea spray bed bugs hates it and rubbing alcohol dries out their bodies..
Put diatomaceous earth under your bed and under your furniture (like the entire thing). I guarantee you won't have any bed bugs soon. I always do this because I live in the middle of a major city. Anything can happen like a new neighbor bringing them into the building etc. This always keeps my room from getting infested.
I keep getting itchy in bed, so far I see nothing, I do get bites or something on my chest and back, and my hands and wrists get rashy. I am always trying to pick fluff off my sheets so no bugs get attracted to it, especially my fluffy lounge blankets.
Wash your bedding in very hot water and run it through the dryer on high heat twice, check all the seams on your mattresses and carefully vacuum them all,you can also buy diatemaceous earth that is non toxic to dust the bottom of your base boards on the wall and vacuum them out very well also your bed frame and headboard,99% alcohol in a mister kills live ones right away but if the infestation is too bad and already spread throughout your dwelling you should get a professional to come in.
I know of somebody who had bed bugs and it costs him loads of money to get rid of them twice he had to have his whole house over heated right to the inside of the lumber that build his house and it cost him nearly 5 grand to do that..
That's one of the best serious options. Another is to spray all edges & corners - including any unfinished wood furniture. Then fog or mist the whole infected area or dwelling. And be careful of clothing & fabric - usually requires separate washing & high heat drying (these can be wrapped in plastic bags til then). Also expect to be out of the sealled (windows closed / air circulation system off) house/apartment/dwelling for more than 2 hours (6 is a good minimum).
It’s okay it’s super scary and ugh. I found some today to and I’ve dealt with bugs a couple of times this year and it’s just ugh mentally messes with u fr
If it's not a serious infestation yet, we recommend doing a close up inspection of your bed and belongings. Use a flashlight to check dark corners and crevices. If you find live bed bugs, you can use a vacuum with a crevice tool to suck them up. Just be careful when disposing the vacuum bag. If they've gotten into bedsheets or clothing, putting them in the washing machine on high heat (at least 118 F / 48 C) for 90 minutes. For electronics, you can put them a sealed bag and place them in the freezer for 4 days. If you have a serious bed bug infestation, we recommend getting professional help, as it can be very difficult for homeowners to get rid of all of them at once.
