This is fast cheap and she couldn’t look and worse than it did before

Being the 4WD she'll be a rare little beastie in a few years, good to see her saved.
Cunning plan: 6D Diesels produces a film noir epic, with the denoument being that the paint job is a slightly darker shade than the original. Good job guys, proof that you can polish a turd!
Apologies for being so late to the Kangoooo project..me and the ever inspired mrs are glued to this series. As it builds to a finale, we are so excited. Its kept she who must be obeyed well entertained even after her 17 hour shift last night at the hospital.
She also says you have had your ears lowered.😂

I'm glad you did it in yellow, its a cheerful colour. It now looks like a French Postal van for rough terrain.
That looks a 1000x better than the drab olive green. Just needs a few BT stickers and she could be a BT van (of a long time ago). Well done lads.

That yellow is very similar to the colour that the Brazilian postal service fleet uses (Correios), and they had a lot of Kangoos.

Ps my capri is finished and I have to say thank you to both of you for giving me the confidence and kick up the arse to get it done its by no means perfect but it's now usable 😁👍🏻

cracking job mate.i need to pick youre brains mate on one of your favorite vans,54 plate smilley transit 2,2 ,having trouble starting ,got plenty fuel at injectors,just spins over for a bit till finaly starts,then theres no throttle response for about 5mins,when shes finaly running very low on power,guttless on hills and pulling out of junctions.and when shes warmed up wont start at all unless give her bit of the old sniff..hope you can help mate,love the vids.

I think there was a somewhat similar (though less orange) stock colour, though not a very popular one.

it needs a big AA sticker on the side now (alcohlics annonimous) 😂 lovely paint job, it makes sense to paint it yellow cos if you scratch it, its yellow underneath.

Watched to the end as I do enjoy a respray and that nearly was one lolol it passed the 6ft test. Husband is very envious of your Tshirt and was pleased to see you'd had your summer hair tame.

Looks good guys , will be a perfect service van . Vaguely interesting anecdote ; years ago , when I briefly worked at British Telecom , I was told that the vans were painted yellow because that is the colour that stands out the most in all weather conditions and there is the most visible....so yellow is the safest colour if your vehicle is parked on the road , have a great week Al and Fudgie , thanks for the entertainment
Thats totally right . I remember the furore when they changed to grey. The AA and Rac gave out because they'd gone from the most visible colour to the least visible .
