Love this Jess, as far as insecurities go I completely can relate. After I got married I gained weight. I got with my husband at 14 and married him at 20. I get so upset with myself thinking about my weight gain since my marriage but then I have to remember that we are not supposed to stay in our teenage body, our body evolves after our teenage years so weight gain is normal! I always have to remind myself of this.

Hey Jess - you spoke about waxing compared to shaving. I was nervous to get my first wax done, but it is so much better than shaving. Once you go for a while your hair growth slows down and you don't need to get waxed as much and you don't get in grown hairs compared to shaving. I swore I would never go back to shaving again. Also, I think this video was very informative for younger girls. If I had these kinds of videos when I was a younger girl I would have felt so much better about lots of my questions.
Jess, I have recently found yall. I am 44 but met my husband at 17, he was 20. Met at a youth revival. Married 3 yrs later at ages 20 and 23. We just celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary. I want to commend you on being so open and easy to answer these questions for young girls. To have someone honestly answer questions on insecurity, periods, first kiss, and first time is great. Kudos to you for waiting the 4 years until marriage! I waited until marriage as well. Had a 2.5 yr relationship with an ex and then a 4 month relationship before marriage with my now husband. In my 2.5 year relationship it was really frustrating at the time that he wasn’t ready to move forward in our relationship. It isn’t easy to wait, but it’s so worth it! The first time is ALWAYS a little scary especially for a girl but it is truly the safest place to be when its your life partner. I couldn’t imagine opening myself up to someone who hadn’t made a commitment to me-I think it would have added so much fear and unknowns.

Hearing the insecurity answer was really nice because me and my sister have bad insecurities. Hers is like Jess, she doesn’t like that she’s supper skinny and my parents are hard on her for it. Mine is a lot of things from weight to my skin tone and some of them are really weird and it’s from being bullied for a long time. But we both try to help each other with it and help each other.

I wax down there, it does hurt a bit, but the results are so rewarding cause for me if I shave it gets really itchy, but with wax I don't have that problem. No shame to whoever shaves though, and even if you don't want to shave or wax, if you are ok with it, you do you, there's no shame, whatever makes you comfortable guys. 😘

9:55 waxing is def the go for me and I wouldn't say it hurts that bad, maybe the first time, but not after that (I am 13 have been getting Brazilians for the past year) it is scary at first, but u get used to it, but my biggest tip would be to bring someone with you(maybe ur sister or a close friend) and just talk with the waxer and the person with you about something that is NOT related to the wax, so u can get ur mind off of that

Hearing the insecurity answer was really nice because me and my sister have bad insecurities. Hers is like Jess, she doesn’t like that she’s supper skinny and my parents are hard on her for it. Mine is a lot of things from weight to my skin tone and some of them are really weird and it’s from being bullied for a long time. But we both try to help each other with it and help each other.
You definitely should do more video's like this see sometimes its just nice to hear how other people think or how they look in to stuff, like it was really nice hearing you speak from your experience

I wax down there, it does hurt a bit, but the results are so rewarding cause for me if I shave it gets really itchy, but with wax I don't have that problem. No shame to whoever shaves though, and even if you don't want to shave or wax, if you are ok with it, you do you, there's no shame, whatever makes you comfortable guys. 😘

@@alyssaturner8902 for me it last for about a week before new hair grows and shaving about 4 days. It might last the same to other people, it could last less or longer, it's different for everyone

9:55 waxing is def the go for me and I wouldn't say it hurts that bad, maybe the first time, but not after that (I am 13 have been getting Brazilians for the past year) it is scary at first, but u get used to it, but my biggest tip would be to bring someone with you(maybe ur sister or a close friend) and just talk with the waxer and the person with you about something that is NOT related to the wax, so u can get ur mind off of that
