I feel kind of stupid not to have asked for an upgrade when I checked into the PH just last week. I paid for an early check-in because I had a show that evening and didn't want to rush things in between settling in and getting to my show on time (including having a late lunch/early dinner).
To me, it's all about the window view. My room was a Fountainview room on the 21st floor. It was nice, but the window was kind of slim. Your window looks like it's three quarters times the size that mine was.
You never know if there is availability or if you will get an upgrade but always good to ask. Totally understandable if you had specific needs for an early or late check out based on your schedule. Hope you had a great trip!!

That room is the Ultra Boulevard.
I've been looking at a ton of videos, trying to decide which room to go with. What's in close running are the Ultra Resort and Ultra Vista. The Ultra Boulevard is priiiiiiicey. For one night when I've searched is around $1100. 😳 Yikes! Did you do the "$20 trick," or did she just upgrade you on her own? That's a major upgrade! Either way, this was an AMAZING upgrade. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Hope you had a great stay, and thank you for your video!
We stayed on a Thursday and booked with points through United. I didn’t do the $20 trick so I was surprised by the level of the upgrade. Thanks for watching!
Ultra Blvd suite, I slipped the lady at the front desk a $100 and got this room for 5 days
Dope I heard that works I just asked about a complimentary upgrade and didn’t realize we got upgraded until we opened the door.
