You are so right, that car is absolutely beautiful. Love the great colors and great paint job, especially getting rid of the damn vinyl top in favor of the nice paint/color contrast. LOVE the black interior as well. Looks great with the skirts, get the original side moldings and install them properly as they did in 73. Hang on to that wonderful car, don't ever let it go, I am so envious! My 73 Caprice coupe didn't have the moldings, and that was a big mistake, both sides of the car got dinged up from shitheads opening their doors into it. Get that AC fixed properly and enjoy this wonderful car. I can honestly say that if I can have any car in the world, would want my 73 coupe back in show room condition. My car had 250K miles on the original 400 small black and turbo 400 tranny, still worked fine. The northeast rust finally consumed it to the paint where the frame was drooping where the rear bumper attaches. And you are right, that front end means business, get out of the way! Mine had the bumper guards and rub strips. I inherited my coupe from my parents when I was a kid, the only time I ever got to drive it back then was when I had to wait in gas lines to fill it up for them!
