Flume:
I wanted to do somthing that had more of a progressive feel to it. Something that takes you on a journey,
less of a verse/chorus feel. I started playing around with the vocal sample from Aluna,
then we finishd the song in the studio together. Really happy with how turned out.
Hashtag Music yeah Take a Chance also has this aspect. That song hits me because it perfectly details an experience I had with a girl.

I'm in a transitional phase of my life. One theme that keeps coming up for me is the idea of resetting. I had this song stuck in my head for days. I thought the only lyrics revolved around innocence / something broken. I listened to the song yesterday and had no idea AlunaGeorge says "begin again" and "start again" multiple times throughout. Though I don't believe in coincidence, I'm mindblown. Reset. Begin again. Start again. Repeat until you find what works for you. Don't ever give up on yourself.

@@Synthanicmusic I agree with you 100%; I think it’s paralyzing for us to even attempt to live the way our parents did. The world is a different place, and we as a species are meant to adapt, rather than remain stagnant. Every day is a new day. I feel like I am still in a transitional phase because sometimes the journey itself takes so much longer than we anticipated. And that’s ok! The important thing is to keep going and to make adjustments as needed.

For some random reason youtube recomended me this song in 2016, at the time i never have listened to this type of experimental song, not even artists related to flume to be honest. Thats the first song i ever heard that i didn't knew how the producer did the job. I Was shocked by how weird, and, at the same time, so perfect this song is. I remember listening to Skin every weekend for 1 and a half years without being saturated by the songs, i created a spotify in this same year [2016] and i just fav really good tracks that i find in my life-time. Today (5y later) i just have 400 tracks in my collection, and this is the only album with all the songs included there. Skin is really special for me.
