I enjoyed this episode because Ria wasn’t afraid to hold back her opinions. Sometimes I feel like Fran tries to play it too safe but this was one of the best episodes in a while.

I suggested these thoughts during the season when Gerry was deciding between Theresa and Lesley .....Theresa would be losing a great deal financially since she draws Social Security on her deceased husband's income. It is obvious to me that the possibility of Gary's work history could not could qualify for an equivalent amount. Difficulty with finances put a great deal of strain on a marriage.

52:35 Megan said that the shape of Chelsea’s eyes and the color are similar to hers and that she believed flat out that people had told her she looked like her, she didn’t say she could “see a world in which Chelsea was told that” lol like no, she was being sensible and not deliberately obtuse like hateful ppl online are who need an excuse to hate on women who say they’ve been compared to anyone viewed as beautiful. Megan knows what being bullied is like as Ria said and I believe that definitely influenced her response about Chelsea being rooted in compassion. She has a nice heart.

J Cole has NEVER been in the media for shxt apart from his music. He’s known for living a private life, dropping fire shxt and going away lol. Him apologizing for taking the bait and deleting the track was not a surprise. Hip hop wasn’t founded believe it or not off dissing other rappers rather than it was always a positive expression of Black performers back in the day, it became more combative in the 80s.
Cole didn’t want to give society a show by going at it with another Black man it seems. He’s not a clown. Good for him. Anyone who sees it apart from it being a great example is a daft child. I also think it’s almost insulting and just flat out insane to act as tho he’s “scared” of what anybody “has on him” as if he’s ever been in the mix like that and as if he ain’t recognized as one of the most skilled lyricists of this generation.
Accept that he’s not a petty man-child and doesn’t have to be “scared” of “dirt,” we always gotta come up with something messy for our own entertainment as a society rather than use logic🥴🙄
