@@boukenrobin hahaha overnight stay will be nice but I have to use tokyo wide pass to the fullest like you did so probably just a day trip, just checked the chuzenji onsen free pass (2days) price is still abit cheaper than normal return bus price
Halo kak, jika sudah beli tokyo wide pass tinggal pas hari h ditukar dengan tiket fisik tujuan destinasi yg dituju ya kak? Jadi setiap mau ganti destinasi harus redeem dulu ke tiket fisik ya kak?
I'd suggest near Ueno Station due to its Shinkansen access to Gala Yuzawa. However, Tokyo Station is also a solid option as a central hub. You can't go wrong with either.
Hi Bouken, thank you very much for the video. Excuses my old age, I need to take Tohoku Shinkansen to Utsunomiya Station first , and then transfer to Nikko station by taking JR Nikko line. Am I right? Thank you again! I saw you didn't get your seat reserved at the machine this time. Instead you went to the counter for help. Was that because there was no JR tickets machine? Do you think I have better get all the seats reserved online ahead or just do that like you did? Because in case I might miss the train. Can I go unseated if I miss the train I had seat reserved? Sorry too many questions.
Hi! Yes, you’re correct. You’ll need to take the Shinkansen to Utsunomiya Station, then transfer to the JR Nikko Line to reach Nikko. As for the ticket machine, I didn’t check if there was one, but I chose to use the manned counter since it’s more convenient for me. While I’m not sure if all the staff speak English fluently, they usually understand and can assist you without any issues. No need to stress about reserving allseats-if you miss your train, you can still hop on the next one and sit in an unreserved seat. Happy to help!
Halo Kak! Thank you videonya membantu bgt!
Thank you for uploading this excellent video of your travel
Absolutely my pleasure!
Thanks for this! Nikko is in my bucket list now
I wish to go visit kegon falls though, I love waterfalls, I guess I have to pay bus fare for that 💸💸💸
Maybe staying overnight, there's aTobu Nikko bus pass allowing you to explore the area freely for two days, but, yeah, 💸💸💸
